Some mornings when they wake up, they may feel disoriented, as if they had traveled far and were still processing the night of dreams.

There is, in effect, a different energy on the planet in this Wesak season. It is much more than what appears in the media, which shows the escalating wave of revolutionary changes in places like the Middle East and North Africa.

From a spiritual perspective, you and humanity are experiencing a profound influx of light consciousness. The process of awakening, already underway for a long time in all corners of the world, has reached a new level. This development is catalyzing more changes, both in its outer and inner world.

Since there are so many things happening and they are bombed 24 hours a day by the media, it is easy to lose sight of the magnitude of the changes that are happening in society. You have learned to do several things at once, but even an expert capable of juggling dozens of things at the same time would find it difficult to capture the whole picture. There are always more deep meanings to explore, challenges to respond, and opportunities to implement. If you feel a special connection with an enlightened teacher like the Buddha, the Christ, or Kuan Yin, take a moment every day and ask for his wisdom and blessings. As part of that, offer the divinity qualities such as anger or resentment that keep them stuck. Ask for a divine resolution for the blockages in your path of enlightenment - known and unknown - and trust that you are in the process of receiving the grace of the spirit.
