The celebration of holy nights or twelve Christmas nights is observed in many cultures.
It can be celebrated as an inner journey that one undertakes to give birth to the sun in our being in order to illuminate the darkness. Holy nights begin in the winter season in the northern hemisphere when the forces of nature have retreated to the earth.
Outside there is generally snow and cold, a calm that is not available at other more active times of the year . This reflects a desire for inner peace that is not easily accessible in a western, externally material culture.
Symbolically the midnight sun is home in the heart of the Mother, the golden sphere in the center, sometimes called Shamballah. In the traditions of the mystery school, the rite of initiation often included a meditation to carry out this vision of the golden light in the center of the earth .
It is the task of humanity to bring light to Earth at this time and through our acts of love, nature is sanctified and healed so that the Earth can be helped in its evolution.
Archangel Gabriel is the Regent of Winter
He is the Messenger of God of the New Birth who transmits the spiritual forces of awakening to humanity.
During the celebration of holy nights, the windows of heaven are open so you can see your potential in a new way. Candles rise between heaven and earth. The Archangels are free to create a chorus of revelation and complete knowledge is possible.
The Archangels care for the welfare of nations and communities. During the 12 nights, the Archangels create an unbroken circle of brotherhood and all nationalities disappear. It is a demonstration of the future possibilities of true peace on Earth. Pay close attention to your dreams during this time, as they can become prophetic.
Each night highlights at sunset with the lighting of a special colored candle. There is also a zodiac sign, a virtue destined for the New Year and a spiritual hierarchy to honor . If you wish, you can explore the previous 12 months to learn about the lessons learned and achievements.
We will literally give birth to a new world through the love and honor we bring to the earth and to the stars. This creates a beautiful stairway from Heaven to Earth through this observance of the Etheric Force of Creation.
The twelve-night ritual uses candles of 12 different colors placed in a circle with a golden candle and in honor of the golden sun in the center.
