The goal of every authentic magician apprentice is the development of higher powers which can be described with the terms direct knowledge, intuitive perception, spiritual perception, pure vision or the attainment of Wisdom. They differ from the lower powers which are obstacles to the higher spiritual realization, but serve as magical powers in the three-dimensional world.
There are five methods to develop powers in two planes like this: Incarnation, Medications, Charms, Intention and Meditation. Incarnation, intention and meditation are the three permissible methods and the only ones to be practiced; Drugs and words of power or manic enchantment are practices of the black magician and are related to inferior powers. The Masters and their apprentices use words of power in order to understand themselves with non-human Stocks, to invoke the help of angels and to manipulate the constructive forces of nature, since the true powers of the Soul are only acquired through initiation, those expansions of consciousness that are made using the scepters to discharge energy in the various planes.
SHAZAM: the magician
Billy Batson is a 14-year-old orphan with problems, is ready to move to a new foster home, the seventh consecutive, with the Vázquez family and his other five adopted children. As Guardian of the Rock of Eternity, Shazam is one with Marvell, since he is part of it. He channels the energies of the primordial Wave of God and the Greek Lords of Magic through it: the Rock of Eternity.
