I want to wake up! but I'm afraid
What are we afraid of? Why do we prefer to hide in a hobby than to look for the open door? Why do we wander around the world looking for magical places, fun, adrenaline and temporarily, very temporarily forget about something? Why something at the end of the previous question? because everyone invents their own something.
Some of us dedicate ourselves to accumulate knowledge, books, others to accumulate things, and others more radical behind a hobby like drugs. Anyway, there are many ways behind which we want to hide, hide is a product of fear, we are afraid for everything, fear of growing up, fear of aging, fear of illness to relationships, practically everything. In fact, specialists tell us that fear can degenerate into diseases, fear does not only manifest as fear, no, it manifests itself in multiple ways, for example, anger, violence, anxiety.
The right question here would be, what are we afraid of. In a course of miracles the word fear appears more than 800 times. The opposite of love is fear, (the meaning of miracles, textbook introduction) . In Genesis we can read the story of Adam and Eve. After taking action on their own, they hide from God, for the first time they experience fear, fear of God. They hide and cover themselves, covering up is also a symbol of hiding, of hiding. Adam falls asleep, and to this day we are still asleep. You have chosen a dream in which you had nightmares, but the dream is not real and God urges you to wake up, (IV. The only answer, textbook) to wake up is to remember our Divine origin, God would do absolutely nothing against your son. It is absurd to keep thinking in this way, God does not destroy, He only creates and creates eternally. How would he destroy his Divine Creation if it is an extension of Himself.
The best hiding place we found was the ego. (The word ego, appears more than 1000 times) the ego, is the ostrich hideout (myth) because only he thinks he is safe, sheltered in thoughts of separation. What is the ego? 1. The ego is nothing but idolatry; the symbol of a limited and separate self, born in a body, condemned to suffer since his life ends in death. (Lesson 339, which is the ego) With the dream came the division and fear became majestic, but false humility also grew, God stepped aside and instead the ego grew.
Of course, everything in the dream is as unreal as the dream itself. Fortunately, the father's little big voice has not stopped whispering to his Beloved Son. Moreover, He created the Divine plan for salvation or enlightenment or for remembering, it is the same. To those who managed to listen fully to the Voice, today we call them ascended Masters. They have left their mark, in books, teachings, in disciples. I propose a course of miracles. There we learn how to undo the ego, without fear, how to face fear, how to recognize the Inner Master and follow it, until the last of us wakes up and in unity continue with God's Plan for its expansion.
On the way you will find a lot of resistance, do not worry, it is the part of your mind that ego, that does not want enlightenment, that does not want us to remember, because simply if we wake up from the dream it disappears and along with it, the ego.
If you are afraid, you are right to feel it, but it is not you, you are not ego, You are God in Action, you are his Beloved Son. In Him, fear does not exist. Fear disappears with Love, it is not true, and who is Love but our Creator Father. We must lose our fear, because Love is Love, it is our Father, let us recognize this and the path to awakening will be paved.
There is a method within God's plan for salvation, it is beautifully and masterfully taught by Jesus, it is called UCDM. There we can find the key, that key is called forgiveness. But for that it is necessary to re-educate the mind and the course teaches us step by step.
