For centuries, the churches made us believe that wealth and spirituality were antagonistic, based on the old adage that it is more difficult for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of heaven . But the truth is that Jesus never condemned the rich, nor the wealth itself, but warned of the dangers that it can cause when it ceases to be a means and becomes an end. “Beware of greed, the life of man does not consist in the abundance of the goods he possesses. Happiness does not come from the power of wealth, nor does joy arise from it. Wealth itself is not a curse, but the love of wealth often leads to such a devotion to the things of the world, that the soul is blinded to the spiritual realities of the kingdom of God on earth and to the joy of eternal life in heaven. ”1841
"Spirituality raises the ability to discover beauty in things, to recognize truth in meanings and goodness in values 1096", implies a state of harmony and union with God and with men, therefore by the law of Cause and Effect, we should assume that every person who lives his spirituality, necessarily has to have a comfortable passing, which allows him to develop as a fully human being.
