How to use obsidian

To use obsidian to heal the past, perform the steps below:

  1. First wash the stone with water and dry it.
  2. Then sit in a quiet place, in your personal sanctuary, and if you don't have it, choose a place where you feel comfortable and don't be interrupted. Relax and take 10 deep and slow breaths.
  3. Next, lie down and place the black obsidian at the base of your spine, in the coccyx, that is, in the root chakra .

Feel the energy of the stone circulating throughout your body and cleaning all your energy blockages.

  1. While you lie down, imagine that roots come out of the stone, which in turn is connected to your body. Repeat : "I am connected to the earth and I am powerful."
  2. When you feel safe, visualize a painful situation in your past that you would like to change. Then, re- imagine the details but changing them the way you wish it had happened. Think, how would you react if you could relive that situation a second time? Tell those who hurt you that you forgive them . Now imagine that that memory vanishes and is absorbed by the stone, where it is sealed and can no longer control you.
  3. If the person who caused you harm is a particular person, imagine a rope that joins your body with that person's. Now, with a scissor, your hands or other instrument visualize yourself cutting the rope.
  4. Take a deep breath and get out of meditation gently. Wash the stone with water after use.
