“We are organizing a Red Store in Lugo by the end of summer 2014!

You will be wondering what a Red Store is. The term "Red Shop" was adopted from the title of an Anita Diamont fiction novel published in the late 1990s. Anita wrote about a time when women from desert tribes bled together during the New Moon and during this time all They met at the Red Women's Store. This book resonated deeply in many women who longed for such a place among us, where to go and where to be. They started building and leading Red Shops in large women's meetings to learn what they wanted and see how they felt. Women have found many different ways to do this and it continues to grow organically in all directions, since many of us have collectively chosen not to languish for longer in this experience, but to build in our culture. Anita is not involved in this movement, but she is very aware of everything she inspired among us.

Thus, the Red Tent Temple Movement was born in the US in 2007, which expanded among women in all countries and all continents.

The women who know this movement are very grateful for what they gave us in their vision. Now we are the visionaries to see what the women of the world will become. And there are many other women who pull the car with their particular vision on this matter and who are not part of this particular movement. Even so, there is a brotherhood among all of us, among the various Red Stores that are celebrated everywhere. Since the beginning of the movement in 2007, you can see the enormous influence of the movement among women.

A Red Store is a gift for ourselves, that we remember our greatest strengths and that we also be kind to our limitations. By attending a Red Store and giving you that time for yourself - something that at first is the most difficult of all - we make time and place in our lives to connect with ourselves and with others, so that we can revitalize ourselves during the rest of the month In addition, we will make connections and friendships that will deepen our sense of community. When things get tough, women can exchange ideas together in the Red Stores. Without a doubt, we will be stronger together.

The Red Stores are neither as well known nor as entrenched in our country as many women would like. In other countries, Red Stores are held monthly. We will meet once a year. We know that it is a good way to start, share, grow and empower ourselves for the Good of the whole community. Maybe the time comes when we can meet monthly.

For all this, in Lugo, we are already organizing a Red Shop, for all those women in the area - and even from other areas, of course they do - who want to share in brotherhood during a weekend.

If you are a woman, you are an affair to paganism, spirituality and the sacred feminine, most likely this event interests you.

The Red Store is a non-profit event. This can only be done with volunteer help.

In order to attend, you only need to register previously. Once the inscriptions are closed, we will be able to stipulate the amount to be paid as an “entrance”, an affordable amount, which will be used to cover the cost of renting room and food among all attendees. (We would love that the entrance was free and free, but you know that at the moment everything costs money, and renting an appropriate space and food will cost a certain amount.)

IMPORTANT

We need volunteers to:

• Organization tasks. Several roles inherent to internal functioning are needed: space preparation, reception, infusion preparation, food preparation, coordination ... These roles could be carried out. in small rotating shifts if we were enough, so that all, both voluntary and merely assistants, can enjoy the Red Shop.

• Workshops and activities . Women volunteers are also willing to share with the attendees, in the form of talks, workshops and / or activities.
