What is sin? Does it really exist? Do you consider yourself a sinner?
Sinner
One of the biggest problems with which the human being must face day to day, is that of the concept of sin, without a doubt that concept is a consequence of the duality system with which we live in the world and that was no more not less, than generated at the time of separation or loss of Divine consciousness. Sin then has a direct relationship with good and evil, such that sin exemplifies an act or an action or even a thought that has a dye eminently related to evil or evil. This concept is so well structured, that even religion has placed emphasis on the 7 deadly sins. Inevitably sin is also associated with the concept of hell and therefore also with the concept of death.
It is this intense conditioning, that the word sin, hell and death are repeated constantly even in religious speeches, causing as would be expected, a deep fear in filiation (feligresia), despite that fear that inherently generate the words, man continues to do the same, but be careful, when I generalize it is intentional, we must be very clear that a large part of the affiliation has changed the perception of these concepts and if you have understood that certain types of thoughts and actions do not facilitate the wake up to a new reality, like the one that is promised. This is how I perceive it, many of our Brothers whom we call Saints or Teachers have left a beautiful mark so that those of us who have not found the Open Door do so.
Sin tells us UCDM, it is the abode of illusions, it also tells us that illusions only represent imaginary things which are derived from having false thoughts, illusions finally, he tells us, are proof that what is not real, It is not.
You do not think blunt, what would your conclusion be then, I think you agree with me and so says the course. Sin does not exist.
For the separated mind this statement seems insane, but beware, UCDM tells us that it is really insane to believe in separation and therefore in sin. The ego brings all its witnesses to you, and they show you a confused world, for some even, plunged into sin, but how could this be true if sin does not exist, well it only exists for the mind that feels separated, that He has unknown his true origin, which is not known pure and impeccable, Jesus through a course of miracles constantly urges us to make the effort, here is an effort, to reorder the thoughts, to re-educate the mind and finally to recognize our true origin, to recognize our value as true Children of the Father, Holy, Pure and Impeccable, just as He is and as He thought about it from the beginning of time. Time is also an illusion and therefore it must also come to an end, which produces this fear, if, if it produces it, if we have not understood that the end of time is but an instant in which everything will return to be as it always has been, the Son in Unity with his Father.
Do not consider yourself a sinner anymore, that we have made and continue to make mistakes as UCDM calls it, it is unquestionable, but here Jesus presents us with GOD'S PLAN FOR THE SALVATION OF THE WORLD, in this plan sin is not sin, they are simply mistakes that we commit in separation which is also unreal, we have never ceased to be the perfect Son of the Father, we only dream of it, and because it is said so, because the Father who is Eternal, believes in the Eternal, everything that has a beginning and In the end, it is out of this context and therefore does not exist and less if it is not based on Love.
You have never wondered how it was that Jesus could easily forgive sins, how it would not be so, if his knowledge of the Truth allowed it. That is why he so wisely told us that we could do that and more.
If by mentioning Jesus more than once, it seems to you that I am talking about religion, no, it is not so. UCDM (a course of miracles) is a method to re-educate the mind, dictated by Jesus to Helen Schucman, it is a manual of mental training, and so, you might ask yourself, well, to be able to recognize that all of the above is true, that It is true and thus be able to remember who we are.
