Latif Vicente Jesús Sáenz: "Geometry Awakens Consciousness

  • 2011

Carmelo Urso: Dear Latif, thank you very much for accepting this dialogue that will surely interest the readers of my blog. For many, the geometry was not exactly the funniest topic in school. However, you have turned that vision around: you have developed a proposal that you have called "Conscious Geometry", which is proposed as a kind of spiritual path. Since when were you interested in geometry? How did it become for you a tool for your personal evolution? What is your proposal of Conscious Geometry?

Latif - Vicente Jesús Sáenz: Thank you Carmelo for inviting me to share with you my vision of Geometry.

Geometry is a language in itself and transmits information with shapes, proportions, symmetries and patterns both on a plane and on a volume and does so in silence, without words, so talking about geometry is like translating a visual language of figures and spaces that we may or may not feel other words that we may or may not understand.

Often when making a translation, part of the essence of the original message is lost, even the same word pronounced in Venezuela, Argentina, Spain or Mexico can mean something very different.

Someday I would like to use nothing but silence to show geometry, but for now I need the words, knowing that in this translation information has been lost along the way. Anyway, the word is a good start to start this journey and reach silence where the form as a symbol expresses itself.

Geometry has the capacity to awaken sensations in the observer and if one allows it and becomes aware of it, one will realize that Geometry awakens Consciousness. That's why I like to talk about Conscious Geometry.

If we just did not put this into practice, it will remain in a nice pun… although we cannot “not practice it”, since we are surrounded at all times by objects and spaces that have a shape. Objects that many of them we have chosen because we consciously or unconsciously resonate with their form.

I realized the effect of Geometry by "chance" when designing a garden. An architect friend told me: "The Golden ratio works", so I drew a large golden rectangle on the ground and indeed, that caused a change in the vibration of the place. From that moment, my curious scientific mind began to ask questions and I found the answers with the square and the compass as I drew lines and circles on a drawing board.

There are many books where everything that can be done with a compass is explained, but it is not the same to read them as to have a compass in hand and draw circles from a center following a certain pattern or simply experimenting to “see what happens”. The understanding that is achieved is different and goes beyond the purely intellectual, so I invite everyone to grab, take or catch, it depends on what country they are in, a compass and play with him feeling and seeing at the same time What happens inside and outside of them.

Carmelo Urso: Is that link that links geometry with spirituality new or goes back to time immemorial? What spiritual traditions use the possibilities of geometry to express eternal truths or induce higher states of consciousness?

Latif - Vicente Jesús Sáenz: It's not new. I think it exists since the human mind began to ask questions.

Perhaps we should ask ourselves: when did the human mind disassociate the material from the spiritual?

In the European universities of the Middle Ages the 7 liberal arts were studied, divided into 2 groups: first the trivium (grammar, logic and rhetoric) and then the quadrivium (arithmetic, geometry, music and astronomy). They began with the WAY of language, reasoning and the art of the word. This was followed by 4 universal languages, understandable in any language. One of them, the ROAD of Geometry.

Long before, Pythagoras and the school he founded was based on the teachings and laws of Geometry. It was a whole way or way of life based on the silence that inspire the forms of creation.

Throughout the planet there are constructions of different times that transmit “good vibrations” when we see them and even more when we enter them. Have they been built according to some proportion, pattern or magic formula?

The information is still there, in front of us. He speaks to us in his own language. Simply listen and adjust our TUNER to the appropriate frequency, as we do when we turn the dial to listen to a radio station. By tuning in, we consciously resonate with the frequency of Geometry and the information is in-CORPORA.

Carmelo Urso: You usually teach a workshop called "Tune in with the Magic of Geometry." What does that activity consist of? How long does it last? What are your goals? If someone is interested in doing it, how can they contact you?

In this 7-hour workshop throughout a day, we are building the golden spiral step by step, at the same time deepening the information it contains. We create a “laboratory” where each participant investigates and processes the information he hears and that also comes out of his hand when drawing on paper.

Geometry is a logical function of the right hemisphere and we begin by providing logical information in a very simple way to our left hemisphere the mathematician so that he UNDERSTANDS. When he understands, he relaxes and we can continue.

In the next step, that information we already understand is used from the right hemisphere, the abstract, the poet. We are presented with a geometric image that, in addition to understanding it, we contemplate it. Both hemispheres are interested in the same subject, the tension disappears, they stop fighting and this produces the integration that PEACE brings us.

As there is High Magic in numbers and Geometry, I apologize for not revealing the end of the workshop. That is something that we experience subtly throughout the day and we check it when we design a space between all, with the information that we already understand and that we have incorporated.

We have created a space of meditation that radiates vibration of Order, Balance and Harmony contained in the geometric figure consciously-MIND. As both the left and the right hemisphere understand and understand what we are doing, automatically, our tuner adjusts to that frequency and we capture that vibration.

This is my proposal of Geometry as a WAY to reach the Sacred.

Carmelo Urso: You affirm in your blog http://nuevarmonia.blogspot.com that the laws of geometry produce ORDER, BALANCE and HARMON A . Could you extend that concept a bit for our readers?

Latif Vicente Jes s S enz: The cosmos is based on laws expressed in Geometry and these laws produce ORDER, BALANCE and HARMONY . We could say the same about music and arithmetic.

It may be easier to understand if we talk about music since we are used to feeling how music touches us and affects our moods. . It is a language that we have known since childhood and we have all developed a certain taste for one music or another.

The conscious use of Geometry allows us to incorporate these concepts and laws since by understanding them we have become sensitive to them.

The objective of the workshop is to put these theoretical principles into practice to live and feel them. We need to use the mind to understand, measure, calculate, count and for many other tasks but it is finally the body that feels and resonates like the string of a guitar when it is in front of a geometric figure.

The mind becomes sensitive when it tunes to the Magic of Geometry.

Throughout this PATH, we use the mind (that of the mathematician and that of the poet) to understand at intellectual level the laws of the geometry of the golden ratio. Meanwhile, almost without realizing it, our internal tuner is adjusting to that frequency and by the principle of resonance we become sensitive to the geometric space where we have entered. What that space emits, are vibrations of ORDER, BALANCE and HARMONY, and that is what we feel in the silence of our heart, where the SACRED dwells.

In the SILENCE a STAR is born.

Carmelo Urso: You are known as a creator of geometric harmonizers and mandalas. What are the geometric harmonizers? What are the mandalas and where did they originate? How is it that mandalas help us balance the basic elements of creation?

Latif Vicente Jes s S enz: Mandala is a term in written form that means circle. Basically it is a round image that has a center and has the ability to CENTER the person who uses it.

The mandalas that I draw are based on proportions, symmetries and geometric patterns. In that design intelligent information travels that is transmitted around it in the form of sensitive harmony. That is why I call them Geometric Harmonizers .

Some of these mandalas are made to order for personal use. People use it as a harmonizer in the home or workplace, to meditate and also as an external image in a logo or card that identifies them.

Carmelo Urso: You usually do activities in schools, with the smallest of the house. How can having a deep understanding of the laws of geometry help children in their psycho-spiritual development?

Latif - Vicente Jesús Sáenz: It is not always necessary to explain or understand geometry, so the mandala is a very useful tool. It is a vehicle where all the geometry information is contained and nothing more needs to be said. For many people and especially children, contemplating or coloring a geometric mandala is already enough to produce a subtle effect of Order, Balance and Harmony while they are with it.

If the practice with the mandalas is regular, the effect will become visible and lasting.

In addition, the mandala is in turn a vehicle for COLOR that will gently reach the place where the receiver is waiting, like an arrow on a target.

Carmelo Urso: You are the author of the books "TUNING WITH THE MAGIC OF GEOMETRY", "SPIRAL and TIME" and "What is Sacred Geometry?" What topics do you develop in these texts? Where can our readers and readers obtain them?

Latif - Vicente Jesús Sáenz: The book "The Spiral and Time" I edited it personally in Mendoza, Argentina and I distribute it myself when I travel to give the workshops at the moment in Argentina and Spain.

It is divided into 3 parts. A first part to understand basic concepts of the golden spiral. The second part is a story / meditation with geometries and little or no text where in the form of silent and geometric narration, a creative process unfolds before the eyes of the reader.

Finally, there is a collection of 24 coloring mandalas, all made with the same spiral but with different order patterns and symmetries to complete the spiral experience and “spiral”.

“What is Sacred Geometry?”, Edited by Longseller-Devas, Buenos Aires, will be coming soon. I present a synthesis of what we see in the workshops in the form of 9 keys to tune into geometry, with numerous easy-to-make drawings, as a practical manual, to understand, feel and LOVE Geometry.

Carmelo Urso: A final message for those who read you on both sides of the Ocean.

Latif - Vicente Jesús Sáenz: Last March I participated in the RedLuz Argentina meeting. From there came this mandala-message that I directly copy for all readers, so that they feel it in the silence of their heart, where the sacred dwells.

Mandala - Message of Gratitude from Earth to Heaven inspired by the Meeting of Hearts in the City of Luz de Santa Fe, Argentina in March 2011 and written in the silent language of geometry and color.

Use it your way, if you want to be seen from far, far, far away.

Thank you reader for getting here. It has been a pleasure to walk this trip together thanks to Carmelo's generosity.
