The anger and the distance of our hearts

It tells a Tibetan story that one day an old wise man asked his followers: Why do people shout when they are angry?

The men thought a few moments:
"Because we lose our cool, " said one, "that's why we shout."
-But why shout when the other person is by your side?
- Asked the wise - Is it not possible to speak in a low voice?
Why do you shout at a person when you are angry?

The men gave some other answers but none of
They satisfied the wise.

Finally he explained:
-When two people are angry, their hearts will be
They move away a lot. To cover that distance they must shout,
To be able to listen. The more angry they are,
louder they will have to shout to listen to each other
Through that great distance.

Then the wise asked:
-What happens when two people fall in love?
They don't shout at each other, but speak softly
Why? Their hearts are very close.
The distance between them is very small.

The wise continued - When they fall in love even more,
what's going on? They don't talk, they just whisper and they turn
Even closer in his love. Finally they don't even need
whisper, just look at each other and that's it. This is how close
There are two people when they love each other.

Then he said:
-When discussing don't let your hearts go away,
Don't say words that distance you further, one day will come
where the distance is so much that they won't find more
The way back.
