Currently, children go to schools to reach higher levels of achievement in the performance of a competition. The same goes for video games since the skills learned in a simulated environment can easily be transferred to the real world, but the most important thing to be achieved with a simulation is confidence in one's abilities.
The basic concept in role-playing games is that players pursue a common goal, and must cooperate with each other and the characters can be complementary; some stand out in physical competitions, others in intellectual or social ones, and, if the theme of the game allows it, others may have mystical abilities (magic, miracles, etc.). All these characteristics are indicated in a libretto of the character, which varies according to the game system.

Most role-playing games have the following characteristics:

  • A typical game style of traditional role-playing games, which includes missions and reward system based on treasure collection.
  • A system of statistics development, normally related to levels and experience points.
  • An economy based on barter and a monetary unit or more than one.
  • A world located in a medieval context with characters, missions and main story related to this context.
  • Organization of players in clans, are not directly supported by the game.
  • Moderators of the game and, on some occasions, paid people for watching the world.

Dofus is a role-playing video game that allows thousands of players to enter a virtual world simultaneously through the internet and interact with each other. They consist, at first, in the creation of a character, from which the player can choose race, profession, weapons, etc. Once the character is created, the player can introduce him into the game and increase levels and experience in PvP (Character vs. Character) or PvE (Character vs. Environment) fights or by performing various adventures or missions, usually called searches.

THE SOCIETY:

Yopuka: Melee warriors.
Ocra: They are the archers of the game.
Xelor: Time magicians.
Sacrogrito: Berzerkers.
Osamodas: Summoners of animals.
Sram: Killers-Thieves.
Aniripsa: Healers.
Anutrof: Bounty hunter.
Pandawa: Martial Arts Warriors. They use fermented drinks to increase their power.
Sadida: Vegetable summoners. They invoke voodoo dolls.
Feca: Squires.
Zurcar k: Betting warriors.
Tymador: Scammers-Pyrenees.
Zobal: Moon warriors, use the power of their masks.
Steamer: Technology steampunk style.

The names of almost every class of characters and some non-player characters are anagrams. For example:
Ocra: The name Ocra comes from the word arch, in French it is written cra, arc (arch).
Anutrof: It comes from the word "fortune" (wealth, in French).
Xelor is an anagram of the word Rolex, which is a watch brand.
Sadida is an anagram of the Adidas brand.
Sram (Mars, a brand of chocolates)
Zurcarák (face-cross).
Aniripsa (aspirin).
Osamodas (sadomaso).

There is also a relationship between the name of the publishing company, ANKAMA, and the name of the Amakna people.
Some classes bear a certain resemblance to the anime Fairy Tail. For example:
Lucy's whip is very similar to the tail of the Osamodas; besides that both use invocations.
In the dress the Yopukas have a cross drawn, and use swords to attack, just like Erza.

All the characters that are created in the game have different characteristics.
Initiative : allows you to take the first turn in combat.
Wisdom : increases the ability to earn experience points of your character, also helps to remove and dodge movement points and action points in a battle.
Intelligence : increases the damage of Fire-type spells and increases healing.
Agility : increases the damage of Air spells, increases critical hits and helps to avoid damage from the opponent and also allows to leave the tackle zones.
Luck : increases the damage of Water spells, and also increases prospecting (ability to obtain resources after a fight).
Strength : Increases damage from Earth-type spells, plus neutral type damage and increase inventory (each character's ability to save objects and resources).
Vitality : increases the vitality of the character, making him live longer in the fight.

Combat

While the game takes place in real time, Dofus combat is conducted more like a turn-based strategy game - where each player decides to make a series of moves and attack within a time limit. When a player attacks monsters - they are transported to a "background" where the fight takes place. Once a fight begins, there are no other players who can join the fight.
Players use a series of spells (which are exclusive to that kind of race) which are used to attack, heal. Depending on the spell, Action Points (PA) or Movement Points (PM) are used. All actions performed in combat (by both players and monsters) consume an amount of PA and every movement consumes PM. In combat if a character loses his vitality (health points. PH) is defeated.

Challenges

Dofus has many challenges that can improve gameplay. A challenge is a special task assigned to players at the start of a fight against a group of monsters. They encourage players to fight in a special way, for example, only one space is moved once, or only certain attacks are allowed throughout the fight. If a team completes a challenge, at the end of a fight their experience and loot are amplified.

Spells

Each character receives 20 class spells as he moves from level 1 to 200. A special spell that can be achieved in the corresponding class temple. Upon reaching level 200, a spell is acquired to invoke a dopple of its kind.
A series of spells are not limited to a specific class: weapons masters, some elementary spells (Zanahowia, Striking, Leek Pie, Luna Hammer, perfidious Boomerang, press), require missions. Others are acquired when fighting ends. Others can be purchased at the document market in the cities of Bonta or Brakmar.

Emoticons

Players can acquire and use emoticons, in and out of combat. Emoticons are short time sequences of actions; for example shake, breaking the wind, kiss, etc. Emoticons are almost purely cosmetic and have no effect on the environment or other players.

Professions

The woodcutter cuts down all the trees that grow in the region. It supplies different and varied woods to the numerous artisans of Amakna. Talk to the imposing Agrid Shakuro at the sawmill to learn the job of lumberjack and go to log all Amakna.
The hunter spends his life cornering prey to recover all the meat he can and sell it to the butchers so that they can prepare it for cooking. To learn the trade of hunter, go talk to Musa, he will teach you how to do to keep track of your enemies and get their resources.
The miner spends most of his life at the bottom of the mines in search of rare minerals and precious stones. It supplies the blacksmiths with almost all of their raw materials and provides them with the alloys that he himself makes. Dig, dig and keep digging ... Is this your motto? Casper Van Brushing will give you all the reason and accept to teach you the job of a miner.
The farmer dedicates a part of his time to mow cereals in the fields and, in another part, to grind the fruit of his crops to sell his flour to the bakers who pay better. If you want to run through the fields with a flower in your hand and a scythe in the other go to see Farle Ingals
The fisherman likes tranquility and areas with water. Patience is the mother of science in this trade since fish are very suspicious and run away if they have the slightest suspicion. Do you like calm and tranquility? Take a tour of Bhania Laka's fisherman's cabin to show you his trade.
The alchemist can elaborate several potions more or less effective necessary to manufacture objects or that allow to be restored or even forget their knowledge. He is able to collect himself a part of the plants he needs to make his potions. Becoming an alchemist requires a lot of patience and it will be necessary to perform a search to become a merlinillo.
The characters in Dofus can learn up to three professions. There is a special type of profession called specialization that can be obtained after a player gains enough experience in certain professions (up to 3).
The collector profession involves the collection of natural resources, such as wood and flowers. Wheat can later be turned into breads and these restore health. They can also be sold, many of them are necessary for missions.
Expertise in a trade allows the player to collect resources to make a wide range of different items.
The butcher uses the meat and the remains of animals that the hunters provide them to make real edible pieces of meat that the adventurers can eat to recover energy after their journeys through Amakna. Those who wish to cut cold meat to prepare exquisite delicacies will have to talk to Cachocarne (Brakmar) or Ala Reyna (Bonta).
The jeweler uses metal, precious stones and other resources to make sumptuous jewels with powers, sometimes surprising. To create your own diamond jewelry, ask Azra Lazarus for information.
The baker uses the farmers' flour to make bread that allows the adventurers to regain strength. You can even, if you get the good ingredients, make some candies in your oven. Are you attracted to the smell that comes from ovens? In that case Harrys Corb will be happy to hire you.
The handyman is capable of manufacturing many different objects with varied resources. You can make items for raising frames, but you can also make keys to enter some dungeons. To learn the trade of handyman, go to the city of Bonta and talk to Liroye Merlin or go to the city of Brakmar and talk to Fidji Merlin.
The shoemaker uses the skin and leather of monsters to make boots or belts. If you want to learn the trade of shoemaker, talk to Bowis in the shoe store and who knows, maybe one day you will become a famous politician ...
The tailor dresses the whole world: mainly he uses skins and fabrics with hairs to sew hats and capes that make their owners proud. Times are difficult for tailors and learning manuals become rare in the Amakna region.
The fishmonger cleans and prepares the fisherman's fish to be edible. Once gutted, they can serve as an ingredient for recipes. Adventurers who are weak can feed on fish to regain strength. If you don't mind the smell of fish, Rupi Chipón will teach you how to prepare most of the marine inhabitants of Amakna.
The blacksmith manufactures noble weapons with steely blades. Use both metals and wood when you need to create new swords. (There are also shields, daggers, axes, hammers, shovels). If you want to test your strength in front of an anvil, go to the forge and talk to Graham Finam. He will explain how to become a blacksmith.
The archer sculptor uses almost exclusively wood for his creations. It mainly supplies adventurers who do not wish to fight melee against monsters. (There are also wand sculptor and cane sculptor). To learn the trade of sculptor, talk to Abel Bobel in his workshop, he will explain all the secrets of the trade.

Specialty or Master's:

Profession performance can become a “specialization”. Once a player reaches level 65 in one of them (jeweler, shoemaker, tailor, smith weapon, or carver), Hel Munster can be visited in the Abráknido Forest to begin the quest to become a wizard in that profession (for example, a shoemaker can only become a shoemaker). A magician adds runes for an object of the corresponding profession (Zapateromago can only add runes to a shoe or a belt), in order to modify the characteristics of the object.
Each profession range from level 1 to 100 (but non-paid players are restricted to a maximum level of 30). Every profession requires a special tool to be performed. Experience is gained in each profession by collecting the resources of that profession and / or by developing articles, depending on the type. As a player's profession collecting levels, they can collect new types of resources and obtain resources quickly. When a craft profession increases levels, the player can create more powerful objects and create them with a higher success rate, which means that crafting will fail less frequently.
There are also pseudo-professionals, not listed in the standard of the profession: pet trainer, water collector, breeder and assembly trainer.

Economy:

The currency used in Dofus is called "Kamas" (k). There are three cities that contain a market (Bonta, Brakmar and Astrub), where people can buy and sell goods and equipment (for a fee - paid when the item is shown for sale). The kamas of these deposits sales directly to the bank account.
Alternatively, two characters can enter 'merchant mode' when they want to disconnect and sell items directly from their inventory. These kamas are deposited directly in the character's wallet.
While in real life "1K" means 1000, in Dofus it means 1 Kama. To sell something for “1KK” is equal to 1000 Kamas abbreviation for “1K Kamas”, keep in mind that this can be a common mistake of beginners. 1000000 Kamas, or one million Kamas, is shortened as "1MK".

Missions

Dofus offers missions, which can help players gain experience and Kamas among other rewards. However, the mission system is limited, and many of them depend on the level of performance of the player. There is a set of missions that, once completed, offer great rewards.

Lineups

The alignment system allows to participate in the eternal war between the cities of Bonta (City of Angels) and Brakmar (City of Demons). This makes it possible for the characters to benefit from the advantage of being able to use a shield. The alignment system is as explained by Ankama "development phase".
On a limited number of servers, a third of alignment is present. The Mercenary lineup, which is an exclusive lineup role and has the ability to carry out contracts assigned by other players. This last alignment is governed by players and not by NPC characters.

Guilds

Players have the opportunity to form alliances. This makes it possible for members to talk to each other, coordinate events, place collectors and mark the houses and Dragopavo Potreros with their alliance badges. A perceptor is a special NPC that is created by a member of a guild, having the chance to get the spoils of a fight every time a fight is finished on their map.
Each guild can place a limited number of recipients. The recipient acts as a tax collector and has the ability to gather elements of the fights that occur on the same map - therefore, effectively claim ownership for the guild. Another player can attack this perceiver - either to withdraw it so his guild can claim ownership or to steal the items collected by the perceiver.
When joining a guild the character receives a "flag" emoticon, which shows the guild emblem.

Alliances

Each guild can form or join an alliance consisting of other alliances. There is no limit to how many guilds can join an alliance, but it must consist of at least one. An emoticon to show the emblem of the alliances is given to the player if they are part of an alliance.

Prisms

Each area in Dofus has a prism. A prism is the "heart" of a territory placed by an alliance. Alliances can control areas through prisms, giving them experience and looting the resources of the area. The alliance that places the prism must defend it from the attacks of other alliances. A prism is “weakened” after being defeated / destroyed in a battle consisting of 1-6 alliance players, defending and attacking the territory. Once a prism has weakened, the "alliance leader" battle will take place. If there are more alliance players in the area to defend after time runs out for battle, the prism returns to normal. If there is more of the attacking alliance at the end of the battle, then the area is "neutral." Then it can be captured by a new alliance.

Dungeons

As with many other games, Dofus has a number of dungeons, special areas where players progress linearly by defeating the mafia of the monsters found in each room. They usually end up with a single boss monster at the end, and sometimes a special reward to defeat him.
