Rational thinking has great utility for practical life, but prevents access to higher forms of consciousness and experiences that connect us to the Absolute. This was discovered early by the Orientals and made them develop methods aimed at overcoming it as a means of apprehension of Knowledge.
The intellect can only refer to the analysis of the surface of things and deliver a fragmented vision: "A kiss is the mechanical contact of four lips, with exchange of saliva and other oral matters" ...
To capture the deep meaning, the soul of things, its hidden and transcendent dimension, it is necessary to resort to intuitive vision, not to contaminate it by previous experience, detached from the archived data in the brain.
