New growth space in Madrid

With the firmness of always walking with our feet on the ground and looking at the stars, today begins the dream that I always had and that from this moment is yours, because this place is for the child that we all carry inside and for of course, for the now, so that happiness and love radiate to this wonderful world.

With these words Sandra Gutiérrez began the first stage of a new growth space dedicated to children and whose main objective is to contribute to the integral development of the person, in harmony with the universal values inherent in the human being.

The initiative is open to the participation of children of any religion, nationality or ethnicity. Some of its principles are love and trust; respect for individual singularity and evolutionary stages; tolerance and respect for diversity; equality and solidarity and the integration of arts and nature.

As explained by its founder to Positive News, the line of action "is fundamentally nourished by the Waldorf pedagogy, created by Rudolf Steiner but with an open spirit." María Montessori, a promoter of thought that determines the need for stimuli and freedom to learn and Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, creator of the popular school, will be some of the trends that will also feed the project.

Surrounded by trees and mountains, near Los Arroyos reservoir, in San Lorenzo del Escorial, attendees can share a breakfast and have time to play, experience, learn and of course, rest.

The proposal is part of the Vía Valora Association, an altruistic and non-profit entity whose purpose is "to promote and disseminate human values for a better coexistence". To do this, they organize activities aimed at people of all ages: from pedagogical talks and informative conferences to markets.
