Joe Dispenza "We can reinvest ourselves

  • 2010

Mind and matter are not separated. In his last book, Develop your brain. The science of changing your mind, Joe Dispenza taught how to improve physical and mental health, as well as how to redesign our future. M S ALL has spoken with him.

Can we heal our body with the mind? In Develop your brain. The science of changing your mind (Palmyra), Dr. Joe Dispenza teaches to develop the brain mechanisms necessary to manage our thoughts and heal our body.

Why was he interested in the brain? How will you define it?

There are hundreds of people with serious illnesses who have managed to heal themselves because they have changed their neurological architecture. From the mechanical point of view, the brain is only an organ with a large number of neurons that communicate with each other, but also allows us to modify our behavior.

How can we reinvent ourselves?

When we focus on something, the frontal lobe focuses on the new thought and the brain rebuilds its wiring. This means that we can change our mentality by strengthening these new connections and eliminating those we do not use. But you have to repeat that experience to activate the cerebellum, which makes the mind and body work together.

THE NEW ME

But can we really control our brain? What role does our genetic heritage play?

The organization of brain circuits is what gives us our individuality, which is given to us by the genetics of our parents and the environment. Our thoughts provoke chemical reactions that create addiction to certain sensations. But we can reprogram our brain.

So, does this memorized state constitute our new personality?

-Exact. The repetition of these signals causes some genes to activate and others to fall asleep. These chemical reactions cause various emotions that teach the body what the mind has learned. If we don't have new experiences, the brain can't change.

CURING WITH THE MIND

Can the mind heal the body?

–While the body is unconscious and is governed by learned behaviors, the mind is conscious and in constant renewal. If the person makes his body conscious he can change. This process requires being relaxed and opening the mind. When we begin to feel as we think and think as we feel we produce chemicals that create the new state of being. But these thoughts can be negative and positive. The former destroy the body and the latter heal it. Our thoughts, our health and reality are connected. - The most common disease in today's society is stress. How can we face it? - Psychology tells us that more than 75% of our thoughts are negative. Stress is created because we anticipate future problems, which imbalance the mind and body. That is why we have to prepare and re-educate our brain so that it does not destroy our body.

A BETTER BRAIN

When does the human brain reach the limit of its evolution?

- Psychology and Psychiatry tell us that our brain reaches its limit at 35 years. In a way it is true, since 90% of our personality is unalterable, but the remaining 10% can still change. So there is still a long way to go. We have enormous potential.

What is the goal of "Develop your mind"?

–The book is really about human potential. He tries to inspire people to hope that if he changes his mind and continues to have new experiences, his life will change.
