If you want to solve a problem, any kind of problem, work on yourself. Ihaleakala Hew Len

Ihaleakala Hew Len is a therapist who was a disciple of Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, a native Hawaiian kahuna (guardian of secrecy). Morrnah (1913-1992) updated the traditional Ho'oponopono to the present times and made it available to anyone who was interested. Morrnah Ho'oponopono is a 14 or 12 step process.

Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, as an expert in Ho`oponopono spiritual practice, was invited to collaborate in a pavilion for criminally insane patients at Hawaii State Hospital .

The psychologists who were hired to work there resigned after a few days and the staff declared themselves ill almost all the time or resigned. Those who had to access the pavilion walked their backs against the wall because they feared being attacked by patients.

Dr. Hew Len never treated patients in the conventional way, interviewing them, but studied their medical records. While doing so, he applied the process of the 12 (or 14) Morrnah steps, two or three times a day.

In addition, he walked around the hospital every day and watched the patients, the doctors, their own feelings. He asked the Divine to heal their tying with these people .

After a few months of working there, patients who had been chained could walk freely, others had their dose of painkillers reduced, and others who never thought they had a chance to get out of there were released .

On the other hand, employees began to enjoy their work . Absenteeism and staff turnover disappeared.

It was a hard 3 year job . It is said that the divinity accepted his request and healed it along with the other patients who healed . Only two people did not heal because they had no karmic bonds with Dr. Hew Len.

How it happened?

According to Dr. Hew Len: "I simply cleaned the part of me that I shared with them . "

Ho'oponopono recognizes that we are all part of the same consciousness, and as such, our reactions / actions affect everything we experience . We are responsible for all our experiences!

“Being responsible for your life means that everything in your life, just for being your life, is your responsibility. In a literal sense, the whole world is your creation, ”explains Hew Len.

In other words, what it means is that we are living in a shared consciousness, a shared hologram, in which if the consciousness of an individual changes, the whole can change.

How does this affect us?

Many times we find ourselves in difficult work or family situations . Or even when we think about the crises and problems of the world. We feel helpless, unable to change things. But, no matter if we are depressed or if we have problems with our partner, we just have to remember that we have power and can help in the situation by maintaining focus and opening ourselves to the greatest power in the universe, Love.

This example of how a man healed a complete ward of insane criminal patients working on himself, teaches us that we can always do something.

All it takes is that we recognize that we are responsible for everything we feel and that by working on ourselves, we can make things change.

Is it true that he used a mantra?

It is said that he used the mantra:

Please forgive me ... I'm sorry ... I love you ... Thank you

But it was not only that but it followed the process of the Ho'oponopono of his teacher Morrnah . This process allowed Hew Len to address the aspect of his consciousness that he shared with the patient.

The fact that that person was in their experience meant that they shared part of the same universal consciousness, therefore, if that person was suffering it meant that a part of him was also suffering and needed to heal.
