Exceptional opportunity of the Christ, by Master Djwhal Khul

  • 2012

One of the difficulties presented today to accept the teaching of the coming of Christ is because it has been given for centuries and nothing has happened. This is true and here lies much of our difficulty. The expectation of his coming is not new; Nothing in it is exceptional or different. Those who still hold this idea are regarded with tolerance and condescension and are even mocked. An analysis of the times and epochs, of the meanings, of the divine intention or will of God, plus the consideration of the world situation, can lead us, however, to believe that the current moment is exceptional in more than a sense, and that an extraordinary opportunity confronts the Christ, produced by certain world conditions, which in themselves are unique, there are certain factors in the world today and certain events took place in the last century that had never occurred, and it would be valuable to consider them in order to acquire a better perspective.

The world to which Christ will come is a new world, although not better; New ideas occupy people's minds and new problems await solution. Let us consider this exceptionality and acquire some knowledge of the situation to which Christ will rush. Let's address this issue realistically and avoid mystical and vague thoughts. If it is true that He plans to reappear, if it will be a fact that will bring his disciples, the Masters of Wisdom, and if this coming is imminent, what are some of the factors that He and they must take into account?

Above all, it will come to a world that is essentially a single world. His reappearance and subsequent work cannot be confined to a small town or territory unknown to the vast majority, as happened in His previous appearance. The diffusion of news by the various media will make its coming different from that of any other Men Mensajero that preceded it; the rapid transport systems will allow countless millions of beings to reach Him by any means of communication; his face will become very familiar to everyone, through television, and in truth "all eyes will see it." Although there is no general recognition of their spiritual state and their message, there will logically be a universal interest, for even the numerous and false Christs and Messengers are discovering this universal curiosity and cannot hide it. This creates an exceptional condition for which it is necessary to work, which no savior and energetic Son of God ever had to face.

The sensitivity of the peoples of the world to the new or necessary is also extraordinarily different; Man has reacted progressively towards good and evil, and has a much more sensitive response mechanism than humanity possessed in those primitive times. If the Messenger had an immediate response when he came earlier, today his acceptance or rejection will be more general and faster. Man is currently more analytical, more cultured, more intuitive and expects, as never before in another time in history, the exceptional and uncommon. His intellectual perception is more pervasive; his sense of values more acute; its ability to discriminate and choose is accelerated rapidly, and it penetrates more quickly into the meaning of things. These facts will condition the reappearance of Christ and will tend to spread more quickly the news of His coming and the content of His message.

When he returns he will find a world exceptionally free from ecclesiastical dominance and grip; at his previous coming, Palestine was subject to the splint of the Jewish religious leaders, and the Pharisees and Sadducees were to the people of that land what the potentates of the church are to the peoples of the current world. But in humanity there has been a healthy and useful departure from churches and Orthodox religions during the last century, and this will offer an exceptional opportunity for the restoration of true religion and the presentation of a simple return to the way of life spiritual. The priests, Levites, Pharisees and Sadducees did not recognize him when he came. They feared him. And it is very likely that reactionary ecclesiastics do not recognize him today. It may reappear under a completely unexpected aspect; Who can say if it will come as a politician, an economist, a town driver who will emerge from it, a scientist or an artist?

It is a sophistry to believe, as some do, that Christ's main work will be done through the churches or world religions. Logically, he will work through them if conditions permit and if there is a living nucleus of true spirituality within them, or when his invoking demand is powerful enough to reach up to him, then he will use if possible, any channel through which he will be able to expand the consciousness of man and achieve the correct orientation. However, it will be more accurate to say that I will act as a World Instructor and that the churches will constitute one of the means I will use to instruct. Everything that enlightens the minds of men, any propaganda that tends to bring correct human relationships, the way to acquire true knowledge, the methods to transmute knowledge into wisdom and understanding. n, everything that expands the consciousness of humanity and the subhuman states of perception and sensitivity, everything that dissipates the illusion and illusion, destroys the crystallization and modifies the conditions Ethics, will be included in the practical activities of the Hierarchy that he supervises. The Christ will be restricted by the quality and quality of the invoking demand of humanity, which in turn will be conditioned by the stage of evolution it has reached.

During the Middle Ages and before, churches and schools of philosophy provided the main channels for carrying out His subjective activity, which will not happen when he is here in an objective and real way. This is something that churches and religious organizations would do well to remember. Currently, their interest and attention are placed on two new fields of effort: first, in the field of world education and, second, in intelligently complementing those activities that correspond to the government sector in its three aspects: statistical, political and legislative. The common man is already aware of the importance and responsibility of the government; therefore, the hierarchy understands that before the cycle of true democracy can be established (as it essentially exists and that it will be manifested in due course) the education of the masses on the formation of a cooperative government, economic stabilization through proper participation and honest political interaction. The long separation between politics and religion must end; This can now be achieved due to the high level of intelligence achieved by the masses since science has brought men so close that what happens in some remote place on earth becomes something of interest. It's general in a few minutes. This makes possible in an exceptional way the future work of Christ.

It is a necessity that, in preparing for his reappearance, we recognize him spiritually; nobody knows in which nation it will appear, who can say if it will be English, Russian, black, Latin, Turkish, Hindu, or of any other nationality? Perhaps he professes the Christian, Hindu or Buddhist faith, or does not profess any creed; I will not come to restore any of the ancient religions, even the Christian one, but to restore in men the faith in the Love of the Father, the reality of the experience of the Christ and the intimate subjective and unwavering relationship of All the men. All global communication and relationship systems will be available to you, which contributes to making His opportunity more exceptional, and for this He must also prepare.

Another unusual factor that will characterize His coming will not only be the general expectation, but the fact that much is known or taught today about the Kingdom of God or the spiritual Hierarchy of the planet. Everywhere there are thousands of people who are interested in the existence of that Hierarchy, believe in the Masters of Wisdom, the disciples of Christ, and they will not be surprised by the appearance of this group of children of God surrounding His Mentor, Christ. All the churches in the world have familiarized the public with the phrase "the Kingdom of God"; During the last century, esotericists and occultists have made public the reality of the existence of the Hierarchy; Spiritualists have emphasized the survival of those who have passed to the hidden world of being, and their Guides have also witnessed the existence of an inner spiritual world. All this demands an exceptional preparation that presents to the Christ also exceptional opportunities and problems.

These spiritual forces and many others, both outside world religions and within philosophical and humanitarian groups, act directed and closely related, and their activities are closely synchronized. They work together (although this is not physically evident) because in the human family there are those who are in all stages of response. The forces of regeneration, reconstruction, restoration and re-surrection are making their presence felt in many groups that try to help and elevate humanity, rebuild the world, restore stability and the sense of security, thus preparing consciously or unconsciously, the way to the coming of Christ.

There is also an extraordinary resurgence of the ancient teachings of the Buddha, which is penetrating the West and finds fervent adherents in all countries. The Buddha is the symbol of Enlightenment; At present, emphasis is placed everywhere on the light aspect. Millions of beings in the course of the ages have recognized the Buddha as the Bearer of Light. His Four Noble Truths revealed the causes of human difficulties and indicated the remedy. He taught us not to identify with material things or desires; to acquire an exact sense of values; not to consider earthly possessions and existence as of primary importance; to follow the Noble Eightfold Path, the Path of the correct right relationships with God and with his fellow men, and to be happy. The steps of this Path are:

Correct Values

Correct word

Right Ways to Live

Right think

Correct Aspiration

Correct conduct

Correct effort

Correct Rapture or Happiness.

This message is exceptionally necessary today in the world, because most of the true steps that lead to happiness have always been ignored. On the basis of this teaching, Christ will raise the superstructure of brotherhood among men, because the right human relationships are expressions of God's love and will constitute the main and immediate demonstration of divinity in man. Today, in the midst of this devastated, chaotic and unhappy world, humanity has a new opportunity to reject selfish and materialistic life and may begin to tread the Illuminated Path. At the moment when humanity demonstrates willingness to honor it, then Christ will come; There are already indications that men are currently learning this lesson and taking the first and hesitant steps on the Illuminated Path of the right relationships.

The current era is unique because, as never before, it is characterized by a cycle or period in which communal, national and international conferences and meetings take place. Clusters, forums and committees are formed, conferences and congresses are held everywhere, in order to discuss and study human well-being and liberation; This phenomenon is one of the most conclusive indications that the Christ is on the way. He personifies freedom and is the Messenger of Liberation. Stimulates group spirit and conscience; His spiritual energy is the attractive force that unites men for the common good. His reappearance will unite and link men and women of goodwill from all over the world, regardless of their religion and nationality. His coming will evoke a mutual and broad recognition of the good that exists in all. This is part of the exceptional of His coming and for this we are preparing. An analysis of the daily news proves it. The invoking demand of the various groups that work, consciously or unconsciously for the good of humanity, will produce His coming. Those who perform this great act of invocation are the people who think spiritually, the enlightened statesmen, the religious leaders and the men and women whose hearts are filled with good will. They will be able to evoke it if they can stand together with massive intent and hopeful expectation. This preparatory work must be focused and complemented by intellectuals from all over the world, the outstanding benefactors of humanity, the groups dedicated to human improvement and by the altruistic people representing the peoples. The success of the work that Christ and the spiritual Hierarchy are planning today, depends on the human race skillfully utilizing the light that it already possesses, in order to establish correct relationships in families, in the community, in the nation and in the world. .

Therefore, the exceptional difference that exists between the current expected coming of Christ, and the previous one, is that today the world is full of groups that work for human well-being. This effort, considered in the light of past eons of human history, is relatively new, and for this Cristo must prepare and work, following this trend. The “cycle of conferences” that is reaching its peak, is part of the exceptional situation with which the Christ is facing.

However, before He can come with his disciples, our present civilization will have to disappear. In the next century we will begin to understand the meaning of the word "resurrection, " and the new era will begin to reveal its profound purposes and intentions. As a first step, humanity must resurface after the death of its civilization and its ancient ideas and ways of living, abandon its materialistic goals and its detestable selfishness and move towards the clear light of the resurrection. These are not symbolic or mystical words, but part of the general scope that will surround the period of the Reappearance of Christ, as real as the cycle of conferences that are so eagerly organizing now. When Christ came at his previous coming, he taught us the true meaning of Renunciation or Crucifixion; this time his message will be about the resurrection life. The present cycle of conferences prepares men for human relations, although they seem to be of a widely divergent nature today; but the most important factors are human thinking and interest, destined to establish the need, the objectives involved and the means to be used. The resurrection period that Christ will inaugurate, which will constitute His exceptional work within which all his activities will be accommodated will be the result of the fermentation and germination that are already taking place today in the world, constituting his external evidence. numerous conferences

The different and exceptional conditions that Christ faced during the war years forced him to decide the acceleration of His coming, in view of human need. The unfortunate state of the world as a result of the world war and centuries of selfishness, the exceptional sensitivity that men demonstrated everywhere (as a result of the evolutionary process), the unusual diffusion of knowledge regarding the spiritual and singular Hierarchy The development of the group consciousness that manifests itself everywhere through countless conferences, confronted the Christ with his exceptional opportunity and imposed a decision that he could not avoid.

We can say with all reverence that in this “opportunity” of the Christ, two factors difficult to understand by man were involved. We must recognize the fact of the synchronization of His will with that of the father, which led to a fundamental decision. It is not easy for the common Christian to understand that Christ constantly and steadily goes through great experiences, and that in His divine experience there is nothing static or permanent, except His unchanging love for humanity.

A deep study of the Gospel, without the limitations of orthodox interpretations, would reveal many things. The current interpretations, if recognized in their true meaning, simply consist of what someone understood from a series of Aramaic, Greek or Latin words. The fact that most of the accepted commentators lived many centuries ago, have given these words a totally unjustifiable value. The words of a commentator or interpreter, obviously have no value today, in comparison with those of antiquity; however, the modern commentator is probably smarter and better instructed and also has the advantage that there are many accepted translations and an exact science. Theologically we are suffering from ignorance of the past; The unusual thing is that an old commentator has more authority than a modern, cultured and intelligent one. If the New Testament is true in the presentation and in the repetition of the words of the Christ, what can we do s things larger It is true that he said:

Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect, what error is there in recognizing the ability to be on par with the mind of Christ and know what he wants us to know? Tam bibi also said that if a man did the will of God, he would know ; This is how the Christ himself learned and he assures us that with that method we will succeed.

When the conscience of Christ perceived the significance of the will of God, He led him to make great decisions, making him exclaim: `` Father not my will but yours be done. '' These words strictly indicate a conflict and not the synchronization of two wills; It is indicated by the determination, by Christ, of not opposing His will to that of God. Suddenly he had the vision of the emerging divine intention for humanity and, through it, for the entire planet. At that particular stage of spiritual development that Christ had reached, and that turned him into a Guide to the spiritual Hierarchy, into the One who planned the emergence of the Kingdom of God and also in the Master of Teachers and Instructor of angels and men, His conscience was completely identified with the divine Plan. The development of that Plan on earth, the establishment of the Kingdom of God and the appearance of the fifth kingdom of nature, constituted simply for him the fulfillment of the law, and in it all his life was and speaks state in Granada.

He knew and fully understood the plan and its goals, techniques and laws, its energy (that of love) and also the intimate and growing relationship n between the spiritual Hierarchy and humanity. At the maximum point in which he gained full knowledge, and in His total surrender to make the necessary sacrifice of His life, in order to fulfill the Plan, there was suddenly a great expansion of awareness. The meaning, the intention, the purpose of all this and the comprehensive divine Idea (as it existed in the Father's mind), penetrated His soul, not His mind, because That the revelation was much larger than the mind. He could see in more depth than ever the meaning of divinity; then the world of meanings and the world of phenomena vanished and he lost everything, esoterically speaking. Nothing remained of the energy of the creative mind or the energy of love. He was stripped of everything that had made his life bearable and full of meaning. A new type of energy was available the energy of life itself, impregnated with purpose and activated by intention. But it was new and unknown, and until that moment incomprehensible. For the first time he clearly perceived the relationship that existed between the will, which until then had been expressed in his life through love, and the creative work of inaugurating the new dispensation At that time he went through the Getman Week, the stage of Renunciation. It was revealed to him the greatest, the most vast and the most inclusive, losing sight of in that vision everything that until now seemed so vital and important.

This vital understanding of Being and the identification with the Divine Intention of God Himself, the Father, the Lord of the World, on the levels of perception, of which we know nothing yet, constituted the development of the perception of Christ in the Path of the Higher Evolution. That is the path that he travels today and he began to travel it two thousand years ago in Palestine. He knew, in a sense hitherto unknown to Him, what was the purpose of God and the meaning of human destiny, and the part that He should play in the development of that destiny. For centuries mankind has paid little attention to the reaction of Christ, regarding his own destiny and what would affect human destiny. We have shown little interest in His reaction to knowledge, as it was revealed. Our reaction in what concerns His work and service has been selfish and reluctant.

The word to know (in relation to the initiatory consciousness of Christ and of minor initiates) concerns the accuracy of the knowledge that the initiate has acquired through experiment, experience and expression. The first faint indications of the reaction to the monadic "destiny" and the broad universal influence that a Son of God can exert, made itself felt in the conscience of Christ and makes itself felt in the conscience of all those who obey His mandate and achieve the perfection that He pointed out as possible. The superior quality or divine aspect is felt in the life of the progressive Son of God, who knows the meaning of intelligence and understands the meaning of love and its attractive quality. Today because of both acknowledgments He perceives the power of the will and the reality of the divine purpose that such will must complement at any price. This was the greatest crisis of the Christ.

The Gospel describes (as a testimony to this progressive divine development) four moments where this universal or monadic understanding is manifested. Let us briefly consider each of them:

1. We have first of all the manifestation that he made to his parents in the temple: “Do you not know that I must deal with the affairs of my Father?” At that time I was twelve years old, therefore I had finished the work I had to do (as soul); Twelve is the number of the finished work, as evidenced by the twelve works of Hercules, another Son of God. The symbol of his twelve years was replaced by the twelve apostles, symbol of service and sacrifice. He was also in the temple of Solomon, symbol of the perfect life of the soul, just as the Tabernacle in the desert is the symbol of imperfect ephemeral life. of the transitory personality; Christ spoke, therefore, from the soul level, and not only as a spiritual man on Earth. When he spoke those words, he also served as an active member of the spiritual Hierarchy. His parents found him teaching priests, Pharisees and Sadducees. All this indicates that he recognized the work that corresponded to him as a world Instructor, perceiving, for the first time, in his physical brain, the divine purpose or the divine will.

2. Then he declared to His disciples: "I must go to Jerusalem, " and then we read that "He resolutely returned His face to go to that city. This was the intimidation that he had a new goal. The only place of complete "peace" (meaning of the word Jerusalem) is "the center where the will of God is known." The spiritual Hierarchy of our planet (the Invisible Church of the Christ) is not a center of peace, but a true vortex of loving activity, the place where the energies coming from the center of the divine will and humanity meet., the center of divine intelligence. Christ turned to that divine center called in the Old Scriptures, the place of serene determination, of balanced and obedient will. This statement pointed to the crucial and determining point of Christ's life and demonstrated His progress in the fulfillment of divine realization.

3. Then, in the Garden of Gethsemane, he exclaimed: "Father, not my will but Thy will be done, " indicating with it that he understood the divine destiny. The meaning of these words does not imply (as Christian theologians often say) accept the suffering of an unfortunate future and death. It is the exclamation evoked by His true understanding of the universal implications of His mission and the intense focus of His life in a universal sense. The experience of Gethsemane is exceptionally possible only for those Sons of God who have reached this rare stage of evolution, had no connection to the crucifixion episode, as orthodox commentators claim.

4. The last words of Christ to His apostles were: "Behold, I am with you every day, until the end of the age" or heaven. (Mt. 28.20). The important word is "end." The Greek term "sunteleia" means the end of a period and another that follows immediately (which could be called the end of a cycle). In Greek, the last end is another word: "telos." In (Mt. 24, 6) "but it is not the end", the word "telos" is used because it means that "the end of the first period has not yet been reached". Then he spoke as a Guide to the spiritual Hierarchy, expressing His divine will (merged now with the will of God) to continually instruct and understand the world of men with His influential consciousness. This great affirmation was sent in the wings of the energy of His developed will, His omnincluding love and His intelligent mind affirmation that made all things possible.

The Christ also referred to the magnetic power of the will when he said: "I, if I am ascended, will attract all men to Me." This does not refer to the crucifixion, but to the magnetic will of Christ, to bring all men living in the world of material values, through the immanent Christ in each heart, to the world of spiritual recognition. He was not referring to death but to life; neither to the Cross but to the resurrection. In the past, the tonic of the Christian religion has been the death symbolized by the death of Christ, greatly deformed by St. Paul in his effort to merge the new religion established by Christ, with the old religion of The blood of the Jews. The goal of all religious teaching in the world during the cycle that Christ will inaugurate after His reappearance will be the resurrection of the spirit in the human race; The emphasis will be placed on the experience of the Christ nature in every human being and the use of the will to achieve this living transfiguration of the lower nature. The proof of this will be the risen Christ. This "Path of Resurrection" is the radiant Path, the illuminated path that leads man from one expression of divinity to another; it is the path that expresses the light of intelligence, the radiant substance of true love and the inflexible will that allows no defeat or defection. Such are the characteristics that will highlight the Kingdom of God.

Humanity is today in a peculiar and exceptional midpoint between a hapless past and a future full of promises, provided that Christ's reappearance is acknowledged and preparation for His coming is carried out. The present is full of promises and difficulties; In the present moment, humanity has in its hands the destiny of the world and if it can be expressed like this, with all reverence the immediate activity of Christ. The agony of war and the anguish of everything, the human race led the Christ, in 1945, to make a great decision, manifested in two important statements.

From the point of Light in the Mind of God,

Let light flow to the minds of men;

Que la luz descienda a la tierra.

From the point of Love in the Heart of God,

May love flow to the hearts of men;

May Christ return to Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known,

May the purpose guide the small wills of men;

El Propósito que los Maestros conocen y sirven.

From the center we call the race of men,

May the Plan of Love and Light be realized,

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
