Psychological Diagnosis for Lightworkers

By 1940 the Tibetan Master considered that psychology was still in its infancy, but it had in its hands the destiny of humanity and the power to save the race. I believe that this Science of the soul is already in its maturity, thanks to the contributions of deep psychology and cognitive psychology, which allow establishing the necessary relationships between brain, mind and consciousness, making an effective and meaningful diagnosis of the level of human development in the one who finds a disciple and the explanation of his periodic crises. The Tibetan expressed itself like this: (1)

When the psychologist of the future uses all available sciences and at the same time emphasizes the sciences that deal with the subjective man and not so predominantly with the objective man (although the latter should not be omitted), we will then have a fundamental change in the management of the problem or the human equation. This problem today faces and seriously worries the psychologist, the psychiatrist, the neurologist, the social worker and the humanist.

The psychologist will then use the psychological diagnosis:

1. Modern exoteric science of psychology, with its emphasis on faculties, glands and their effects, dreams and their occasional effects, instinctive behavior (which is largely the reaction of the physical body) and the latest conclusions to that materialistic scientists and researchers from all over the world have arrived.

2. Esoteric psychology, as presented in this Seven Rays Treaty. It indicates the types of energy and the forces that govern, control and determine the variable aspects of the faculties of the average man and condition his consciousness. I will remind you that the rays govern the three bodies in the following order:

to. Rays that govern the mental body ………………… 1. 4. 5.

b. Rays that govern the astral body …………………… 2. 6.

C. Rays that govern the physical body …………………… 3. 7.

3. Astrology and the indications (still poorly understood) given, about the place that corresponds to man “in the Sun” and in the general scheme of things and, although he does not believe it, they relate it to the planetary whole and they provide copious information about the time factor that governs every individual. It could be noted that:

to. I read ……………………………… .control the positive Dweller.

b. Gemini ………………………… controls the oscillation processes.

C. Sagittarius ……………………… ..control the negative Dweller.

It should be added that the three signs, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn, finally lead to the fusion of the Dweller with the Angel.

It should also be evident that as the relationships of the different aspects of the manifested life of man appear, its seven centers are related to the seven aspects or qualities, which contains the essential divinity of man. Therefore, the following will be of interest:

1. The coronary center Monad. Lifetime. First aspect

2. The Alma heart center. Awareness. Second aspect

3. The ajna center Personality. Substance. Third aspect

These are the three main centers of evolved man.

4. The laryngeal center Mind. The appearance and mental energy.

5. The solar plexus center Emotion. The astral aspect and the center.

6. The Physical Sacral Center. The monadic center.

7. The coccygeal center Life itself.

Until there is a sufficient and remarkable development that allows a true diagnosis to be made, it is not possible to say clearly to which ray the personality belongs. Later, the ray of the ego will be defined, which at the beginning can only be deduced by the nature of the conflict of which the personality is conscious, based on an increased sense of duality. In addition, a diagnosis can be made that will be based on certain physical and psychic characteristics that will indicate the quality of the individual's superior nature, as well as a study of the different groups with which man is affiliated as they appear in the plane physical. When a man - if by personal preference is a creative artist - suddenly becomes interested in mathematics, it could be deduced that he begins to be under the influence of a second ray soul; or if the man whose personality definitely belonged to the sixth ray of fanatic idealism, or of devotion to the object of his idealism, and during his life was a religious devotee, and then changed his life's interest in scientific research, he might perhaps respond to the impression of a soul of fifth ray.

Consequently, we will study the coordination process and the methods used to achieve two major integrations:

  1. The integration of personality, or the means by which the individual's conscience
    1. it passes from one body to another, so that a definite expansion of consciousness takes place,
    2. simultaneously enters into activity in the three personality vehicles.
  2. The integration of personality and soul, so that the soul can
    1. act at will, in any of the bodies, or
    2. act through the three bodies that simultaneously constitute personality.

I could clarify this point if I said that, just as instinctive nature is currently located in the realm of the subconscious, in due time the intellectual part of man (of which he is now increasingly aware) will be relegated to a similar position and will fall below the threshold of consciousness, which will then be replaced by intuition. It is impossible for many people to freely use intuition, because it resides in the realm of the superconscious.

These movements within the realm of consciousness - from the subconscious to the immediately conscious and from there to the superconscious - essentially constitute a crisis of integration, producing momentary situations that must be resolved. I would like you to observe here that when an individual becomes aware of the highest aspects of himself, that integration demands, and is aware of his nature and of the part that he could play in the expression of his life, he frequently seizes it. an inferiority complex. Such is the reaction of the inferior aspects that are integrated to the superior aspect. He experiences a sense of futility; the comparisons he makes internally about a possible realization and the point already reached, impart a sense of failure and helplessness, which is due to the fact that what was visualized at the beginning is too large and is not considered capable of doing it. Humanity has made so much progress on the path of evolution that it powerfully affects two groups of men:

  1. Those who have recognized the need to bridge the emotional nature and the mind, and through their integration have reached the level of intelligence.
  2. Those who have already laid this bridge and are aware of a major task, that of building the bridge between personality and the soul.

These groups currently include a large number of people; The inferiority complex is very large and causes many types of difficulties. However, if the cause is dealt with and handled more intelligently, it will be observed that the development of the true perspective is faster.

When integration has been achieved, another real difficulty arises, in the case of those who have integrated all their inferior nature and have merged the energies of personality. The energies involved in said fusion have quality and the combination of these qualities (each determined by some particular lightning energy) make up the character of the person. For a long period, after the integration has been achieved, frequent conflicts will occur, exclusively in the sphere of the character and the immediate consciousness of Man. One energy after another will begin to assert itself and fight for supremacy. It would be of value if you present a hypothetical case (2), describing the lightning energies that govern it, and if you remind them that their fusion is the objective. In the case in question, the subject has merged the vehicles of the personality into an active whole and is definitely a personality, but the main fusion of the soul and personality has not been achieved.

Major energies:

Ler egoic energy. Thunderbolt. The energy of will or power.

Energy of personality 4th. Thunderbolt. The energy of harmony through conflict.

Minor energies:

3rd mental energy. Thunderbolt. The energy of intelligence.

6th astral energy Lightning The energy of devotion. Idealism.

Physical energy ler. Thunderbolt. The energy of will or power.

Here is a fivefold energy field in which all factors are active except the energy of the ego or soul. They were definitely merged. At the same time, the perception of the need for an even higher or more inclusive fusion and the establishment of a defined relationship with the soul increases. The process has been as follows: First, man was simply an animal, aware only of physical energy. Then he began to include emotional nature within his field of perception, with his desires, demands and sensitive reactions. Then he discovered himself as a mind, and mental energy began to complicate his problem. Finally, he came to that expression of life (and this is really interesting) that we are considering hypothetically, where he has:

  1. A first ray physical body, with a brain dominated and controlled by a third ray mind. This means capacity for a very diverse intellectual realization.
  2. An emotional nature that, being governed by the energy of the sixth ray, can quickly be driven to a fanatic orientation and prone to idealism.
  3. The whole problem is complicated by the rapid emergence of fourth-ray personality energies, which means that the goal of the personality is to achieve harmony, unity and the ability to live, acquired through intense conflict, waged within of the fourfold field of energies that constitute the lower self.

Consequently, he will be a man who seeks power, but with just reason, because he is truly an idealist who will intelligently fight to achieve it, but who will fight fanatically to achieve these ends, because his fourth ray personality and his sixth ray astral body will force him to do so, and his body and his first ray brain will enable him to present an energetic battle. At the same time, the first ray egoic energy is trying to dominate and, opportunely, will do so through the third ray mental energy, influencing your first ray brain. The first result obtained by the influence of the soul will produce an intensification of all personality qualities. The imbalance will be located in the mental body or in the brain, and will range from fixed idea and mental crystallization, to insanity (if the stimulus is excessively powerful or has inherited defects). He can express arrogantly the success obtained in the field where he has chosen to work, which will be made by a dominant and unpleasant person, or he can express the fluidity of the third ray mind and make him an intriguing, a confabulator, or a fighter to the service of large projects that can never really materialize. In this analysis I have not included the trends evoked in previous lives, which are hidden in the subconscious, nor its inheritance and environment. I have simply tried to show one thing: the energies in conflict within a man can produce serious situations. But most of them can be corrected by correct understanding.

Therefore, it is evident that one of the first studies to be carried out in this new approach to the psychological field will be to discover:

  1. What major and minor rays condition and determine the nature of man and evoke the quality of his daily life.
  2. Which of these five energies (at the time of difficulty) is the one that predominates, and through which body or vehicle it is focused.
  3. Which of these lightning energies fights the aforementioned dominance, which can be:
    1. Variable aspects of the same energy within its own particular field.
    2. Higher energies that strive to control lower energies, indicating a separation in the nature of man.
    3. The energy of the fusion process that unifies the lower energies into a functioning personality.
    4. The readjustment of the process of building the bridge between the two main energies, which will result in the unification of the soul and personality.

All this constitutes the areas of greatest difficulty, with minor conflict centers in each of these conflicting energy fields, frequently created by environmental circumstances and events.

Given all these factors and considering that our hypothetical case is a man who has a highly intelligent nature and a good team to express himself daily, in what way would the esoteric psychologist proceed? How would he handle the man and what would he do? On what broad and general principles would you act? I can only briefly indicate some of them, reminding them that, in the case we are considering, the subject is definitely collaborating with the psychologist and is interested in obtaining good results. The goal of the psychologist's effort will be to answer the following questions:

  1. What reasons assist you in wanting to “reorder yourself”? This phrase, being a familiar expression, has a deep meaning, as it indicates the recognition of the need for alignment.
  2. What made you feel this need and evoked the desire to undergo a specific process of internal readjustment?
  3. Knowing the nature of the internal constitution of man in what vehicle is it necessary to build the bridge? Where is the point of separation and, therefore, the point of the current crisis? (3) Is this difficulty a major or minor crisis?
  4. What are the five lightning energies that condition the subject?
  5. To what extent do the norms in the life of man, his vocation and his innate coherent desires coincide with the tendency established by
    1. the kind of soul ray energy,
    2. the kind of personality ray?

Much of the difficulties, as far as the disciples are concerned, will be found in this area of expression.

  1. At what period of the current manifestation of life did this separation appear? Or, is the integration achieved that produced this difficult situation? This is a problem? of separation, which requires building a bridge that leads to a fusion of energy or integration, that requires a correct understanding of what has happened, and leads to the correct readjustment of the powers merged with environmental conditions?
  2. Is man at the stage where he should:
    1. Integrate as a personality and, consequently, become more strictly human (4)?
    2. Develop as a mystic and learn to recognize the superior aspect and its relation to the inferior, with a view to its unification?
    3. To train as an occultist (5) and mentally reach such a state of consciousness that the natures or higher and lower aspects begin to function as one? This implies the fusion of the forces of personality and soul energy, merging into a divine expression, "the part within the whole."
    4. What can be done, in the last analysis, so that “the enlightened zone” of immediate consciousness is of such a nature that the subconscious part of man can be “enlightened at will by the ray of the mind” and the mind itself can transform in a beacon that penetrates the superconscious, thus revealing the nature of the soul? Actually, this is a problem of expansion of consciousness. There is a wide range of psychological research ahead, in connection with the use of the mind as if it were “the path of light between the subconscious and superconscious natures, which nevertheless focuses both on a bright spot of light within the conscious nature "

For esotericists, all this problem of unification is closely linked to the construction of antakarana.
