BIDS

The word puja means blessing. Bids are prayers and blessings that Tibetan monks perform ancestrally, in order to harmonize the energies of people, homes or new projects and work. In these ceremonies offerings are made to the different deities, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and protectors; They also recite mantras in order to eliminate obstacles, negativities and lack of harmony. Its practice favors the success and luck of the participants and improves the quality of life. They are also practices to increase faith and energy on the spiritual path.

Bids are powerful rituals that include prayers (petitions to Buddhas) and meditations (visualizations and mantras) for physical, emotional and mental purification, as well as for healing diseases or repetitive aspects in life (karmas). Bids have a ritual and a process; the monks use traditional instruments: Dorje, Campana and Taro - small ritual drum - and sometimes trumpets and cymbals. Bids are deep and at the same time colorful, impressive and true rituals.

Each participant can bring rice, water, fruits, candles and flowers and then take home the blessed offerings. The offerings help to accumulate positive karma and the positive energy that is obtained helps to create merits to enjoy the good results of this.

PURIFICATIONS OF HOUSES AND FAMILIES, BUSINESSES AND GROUPS

It is very effective to restore the harmony and prosperity of the home, being benefited by the people who receive it and the space where it takes place. It is a common practice in Tibetan culture, being a very endearing ceremony. The house and the participants are purified and blessed. If you want to share with the lamas in a more private environment, this is a very beautiful and interesting ritual. The blessing of homes and businesses is done to eliminate obstacles in the family and the workplace; It promotes prosperity, health, wisdom and compassion by sowing these qualities in the place, protecting it from any type of negativity.

The duration is 45 minutes. Prepare for the offering: candles, incense, flowers, rice, water, fruit.

INCENSE BID: FOR LUCK, FORTUNE AND PROSPERITY

For Tibetan Buddhists, luck is one more force that helps us achieve and make the lack of achievements not an obstacle in our spiritual strength, this puya helps to increase the charisma and the ability to transcend obstacles for the benefit of the rest.

TARE BID (TROCHÓ). FOR PROSPERITY, SUCCESS AND HAVING CHILDREN.

Purify obstacles, attract success and prosperity at work, peace, harmony and happiness in relationships with our family, friends and colleagues. To have children.

BID KANGSO OR PROTECTORS, TO REMOVE OBSTACLES

In Kangso's bid Palden Lhamo or Mahakala, protector of the Dalai Lama and Tibet, is invoked. This puja or ritual of purification is destined to eliminate negativities and obstacles in our life. Palden Lhamo is a protector of the "wrathful" Dharma or Deity, who saves us from mental darkness and doubt. It brings certainty and confidence

This bid is made under this deity who is responsible for providing positive and sublime realizations being these lasting and for all sentient beings. The songs of this ritual are often made in the Tibetan Monasteries in order to purify all negativities and remove all kinds of obstacles. Most of the time, Kangso's prayers are accompanied by musical instruments and songs.

Mahakala is a Dharmapala or protector of Dharma, that is, it provides help on the spiritual path and removes any obstacles in it; It also protects all sentient beings and helps in all the needs we have. He is considered an angry emanation of Avalokiteshwara, the Buddha of Compassion. Its energy eliminates diseases and provides wisdom.

CHOD CEREMONY: CUT THROUGH THE EGO

Chod is a spiritual path that "cuts through" obstacles, negativity and self-deception, based on the feminine wisdom energy to purify the body, mind and spirit. The combination of all the elements of Tibetan Buddhism in a single practice, provokes a direct experience of the Pure Interior Light and the Original Wisdom. Chod's practice cultivates fearlessness, certainty and compassion, which connects us with our deepest essence. The unique combination of sacred singing, ritual instruments, meditation and visualization creates a rich tapestry that expands our daily experience and redefines the limited sense of self. It is also the practice of definitive and permanent generosity, the decrease of disease, suffering and spiritual blindness of sentient beings, and the healing of distorted environmental energies.
