Spring Equinox Conference 2009 ~ Sri K. Parvathi Kumar - Hyderabad - India

Fraternal greetings from the heart and good wishes to all brothers and sisters. The Spring Equinox day [northern hemisphere] is the most important day of the year. According to Vedic tradition, it is the day on which the year begins, when the sun enters the sign of Aries. The sun is the Lord of the solar system and the moment when the sun enters the twelve solar signs is of great importance for all those who wish to walk the path of Consciousness.

Both systems prevail in India from antiquity: the moon-based system for all personality actions and the sun-based system for all spiritual activity, which we call "consciousness activity." In relation to the life of each individual, it is the personality that governs the conscience, but the only Consciousness that prevails over all is that represented by the solar Consciousness, also called Atman Consciousness or the Self .

In the course of time, what is related to being and consciousness is relegated to the background and everything related to personality is enhanced and prioritized. This is why many people today do not know that this is the true ugadi [ yuga (era) + adi (beginning)], the ugadi for the soul; the other ugadi is more related to personality. We are more personality oriented, and that is why we attend more personality festivals than festivals based on Solar Consciousness. But the Masters of Wisdom want to introduce again what is related to the consciousness of the soul to raise our existence to the level of the soul and not degrade by being only in the plane of personality. Personality is only a means that allows us to lead our lives from the mandate of the soul. The soul descends every time at birth, and develops its personality through tradition and social customs, and depending on the purpose it has when incarnating, just as a man prepares his vehicle Circle before leaving for a long trip. Personality is the vehicle for the soul, and each person must prepare their personality from birth to 21 or 28 years of age. And the soul is supposed to use this vehicle to travel its journey, which is not the journey of personality but of the soul. Mostly, we have forgotten that we are the soul, that we came to realize the purpose of the soul, and we were content according to the personality requirements. The personality requirements are: have good health, a good economic situation, try to get married at the right time, get a job, have children, raise them. All this is personality activity, common to all. There is something more than this and it is the purpose of the soul, which does not come to fruition until the moment of each death and, therefore, the soul decides to return to do what must be done.

So, for us, the vernal equinox is much more important than the Navaratri [ nava (nine) + ratri (night), Hindu festival of worship] -the Sharad Navaratri, Vasant Navaratri-, which are all from the solar aspect and last nine days. Thus it must be understood. The same happens with other dates in which festivals are celebrated, but they are not as important as solstices and equinoxes. Thus, December 22 is of greater importance than other traditional celebrations, such as that of the corn festival, when it is celebrated brought from harvest to home. Therefore, it is the intention of the CVV Master that we all gather around these four cardinal points, which are called that because they occur at intervals of 90 to 92 days. There is a preparation to be made between an equinox and a solstice, to experience the solstice. Equally between the solstice and the equinox to experience the equinox. But those who have prepared well between December 22 and today have a different basis for living the experience than those who arrive today without preparation, and emotionally feel their participation in the equinox. This does not work. It's like preparing for an exam at the last moment. Ninety days of preparation and two or three days of initiation is established by the occult meditation given by the Master CVV. Counting from December 22 (winter solstice), it is more or less now the time of initiation for those who have consciously worked the rise of the sun, to try to raise higher circles. For them a circle concludes and another begins, and thus the closing of this circle allows them to pass to higher regions, which is called the Vedic function of Passover [pass over], preserved by the Jewish betrayal [Pesah]. The Christian tradition has adopted it without even knowing its astrological importance. Passover or Easter means "moving to higher regions." All the great beings who have descended to initiate humanity have ascended between March 21 and June. Thus, Master CVV passed away on May 12, Madame Blavatsky on May 8, Jesus Christ the third week of April (which we call Good Friday), before Easter; Moses passed away in the month of May, just like Shankaracharya. They have risen to higher circles. For them this passage has been possible because they worked well with respect to the light of the soul and its entrance to the spirit.

There are three steps: the first is to overcome body awareness and build a good personality to be able to do what must be done for society. Without a good personality, not much can be offered to the surrounding life. Building this personality is building the temple. Once the temple is built, the soul can live there comfortably. When the temple is personality, the soul that inhabits it is the image of God. God is the spirit and the image of God is the soul, which has a personality through which temple service is fulfilled. The ability to work for all humanity, this is important. Each person can be a temple. It is called "temple" because the object of the temple is to serve the surrounding life. It has been so with the temples and churches, which are intended to serve society with education, culture, activities to inspire souls. Thus the work of a temple is carried out. Each human being must build a suitable personality to serve broad sectors of society, including human beings, plants and animals, and also the five elements. The job is to contribute through personality with a goodwill job. In this way, there is a greater descent of energy towards the soul, and then the image of God, which is the soul, transmits more and more to the surrounding life. Some temples are more active than others, some temples in the city are more helpful than others. So it is also with human temples. What has each incarnated soul done for the life around it? This is the most important measure, it is the only measure that counts at the time of the trial. What have you done What you have known is not so important, nor how much wealth you have achieved, or how much power you have accumulated. If you have had good health throughout your life it is not important. What you have done is the important thing. This question must have an answer. But the answers do not help. The one who does the most is the one who least speaks, and keeps his head bowed. He is the quietest because he is the one who has done a lot and knows that the beings in the upper circles know what is happening; He doesn't care if worldly people know it or not. He is not interested in the recognition of the world. He is only interested in the approval of the superior circles for the quality of the good work done. So, the answer to this question is silence. Silence can be the response of those who did nothing, and it is also the response of those who have done their best. Only those who are between these two extremes speak.

On Judgment Day there is a passage [ passover ], when we move from a higher circle to another. For some it is from the soul to the spirit, for others, from the personality to the soul, this is also a step. For still others, it is from body awareness to building a good personality. So, there are three levels.

Just think about the body and its comfort, its health and its problems ... Many people when they meet today only talk about their health problems. The disease is something so common for the body. Under current conditions, no one can claim to enjoy perfect health. It reaches with having a functional body. Don't worry so much about your body, do what needs to be done. The same with the economy, global decisions. What happens around us ...? There is never satisfaction with the economy, neither for the rich nor for the poor, because everyone has their own problems at their level. You just have to worry about preserving your existence in the body.

To many this equinox can help them to carry out an ascent step, to go on to build the personality as one would do with a temple. Building the temple means first preparing the bricks for the temple. The preparation of the brick represents the proper configuration of one's abilities. Each person possesses a variety of skills. We develop so many skills in our exposure to life, our education and through other means. All these skills must be cut at right angles, and manifest in the right proportions. People do not use adequate proportions in speech, or in thought or action. These are the three essential bricks: in the plane of thought, in the vocal plane and in the plane of action. We must build these bricks. The construction of the bricks is very important, because unless we have formed the bricks of each of our activities we will not be able to build a temple, because the bricks are their own constitution.

Then, we can use our ability to serve in a variety of ways, with these three dimensions that we see in the brick - the height, width and depth - that represent the three dimensions that we must maintain in proper proportion to each activity we perform : thought, speech and action. Until we have built the bricks, we cannot build any house or temple. Build brick by brick, and build as many as you can, and then you can build a temple. So, a good personality is the basic requirement that every religion speaks of. No matter what your religion, they all establish certain basic values through which each person can have a good personality. Once you achieve a good personality, the soul can function comfortably through it to do something that is useful for the surrounding world. Without a well-constituted personality, you cannot really serve. You can have great service intentions but you don't have the right tools. Many have great inspiration for the service but have not built a suitable personality to serve. Everyone must gather adequate skills to serve society. It's no big deal to take care of eating, dressing and then going back to sleep every day. What is important is to develop skills and put them into practice regularly to serve the surroundings. This is, then, the first step: build a good personality, that is, build the temple. Once the temple is built, we think of the celebration, don't we? The celebration of an image of God, no matter how small the temple is. It is a great event that a soul can settle comfortably in a temple and from there conduct its service.

But having built a good personality, what usually happens is that society itself expels you from the main purpose of your life. It is there that the crisis between goodness and greatness occurs. When people begin to recognize you, you feel they see you with great respect, and you feel more and more attracted to greatness, name, fame, money, advertising. All these things slowly move you away from the same purpose for which you have built this personality. This is what happens to many who distance themselves from the fulfillment of the soul program. They focus on being a great personality, and become more involved with the diffusion of their image and the search for power, relegating the divine aspect of their being. So, building personality is the first step, and the second is to ensure that personality is put at the service of the soul. Just like when you try to tame your horse, and you give it good food and care, but it becomes so strong that then it is he who decides how you should move. This cannot happen. Then, there begins work from personality to soul.

Many Hindus believe they can reach the spirit directly. They do not build the personality, they do not seek to channel the purpose of the soul, but they directly aspire to become one with the spirit. And inevitably disappointment, disappointment, depression and disbelief ensues. They think this is unattainable and is just a hobby for people who otherwise have nothing to fill their lives with. Due to their failure they end up escaping and distort the reading of the situation.

But from a systematized approach, the important thing is to build a good personality from childhood and, once you have completed your education and established a family, you gradually build skills to serve society effectively. And then you work with the rituals so that the soul becomes vibrant and works through the personality. For those who function vigorously as souls in the personality, the next step is to join the spirit. This is called meeting the Father .

Therefore, when Jesus decided to take the crucifixion, he told his disciples on the day of the last supper: "Now I will rise and go to my Father in heaven." He has decided to join the spirit because he has accomplished his mission as a soul, through personality. That is why he said: "I can destroy this temple and rebuild it in three days." He said so. The temple he referred to was the temple of personality. People thought it would destroy the temple in Jerusalem, but it is not so. He was crucified on a Friday and on Sunday he reappeared. There were three moon phases in those two days. In three moon phases he returned and appeared before his disciples. Thus, once he has reached the soul, he can build his personality at any time. This is possible for all those who have conquered the ability to renounce personality, reach the spirit, and from there return as a soul, and build a person.

The spring equinox is the day with the most potential of the year. The solar sign of Aries contains the potential of the whole year. What is on the forehead is in the whole body. That is why we say that what is written on your forehead is what your life will become. What is written means what is potentially presented. All sun signs are somehow on the forehead, although in detail they are throughout the body. Aries contains all the secrets of the solar year. That is why we believe that what happens on that day is a sample of what will be next year. So that day we try to work well, with the expectation that the whole year will be good.

What I mean is that the spring equinox is extremely important, as is the sign of Aries. In this festival we are at the peak of every cycle, at the height of every cycle, which can lead us to a higher cycle. We can see this in the number eight, in its form: where a circle ends is where another superior begins. That is why eight is such an important number: it promises access to a superior circle in life, as long as we have concluded the present circle well. All completion is for a new beginning, to restart in the same circle or to start the path in a higher circle. So at the beginning of the next cycle we have two possibilities: go back to the same circle, or enter a higher circle. This passage is called the Passover Festival [pass over]. Entering a higher circle is for those who function as souls and who have achieved what must be achieved in life. They announce it and move towards higher circles. The CVV Master announced it and departed. The same Jesus, Shankaracharya and other great beings who have left between the months of March and June.

The tangential point where the two circles meet is the one that forms the Aries symbol. One half represents the lower circle, the other half represents the upper circle, and both touch at a tangential point. The rotated symbol, “lying down, ” represents the rise of a circle to a higher one. In the vertical position, in the form of "V", as well as the symbol of Aries is represented, we have the decrease of the two energies within the present cycle.

Those who are working with this cycle have a new opportunity for the encounter of solar and lunar energies in them. We have in us the Ida energy, which is the energy of the [lunar] left, and the Pingala energy, called the energy of the [solar] right. When these two energies come together they allow the opening of the third eye, which means experiencing the soul .

You receive the wisdom of your teachers and try to apply it in your daily life, which is a difficult task. The world is the field where we must act, the laboratory. But we keep these aspects separate. Wisdom is wisdom, worldly life is worldly life. We do not allow their encounter, we do not produce the synthesis between them. When you achieve this synthesis, you get the vision. This vision is related to the third eye. When solar and lunar energies are in you, Indra's birth point, located in the eyebrow area, is activated in your body. With this vision you continue to work better for the coming cycles. Thus, even those who continue in the present cycle their work at the body level, can obtain a better programming and foresee what they should do regarding the activity of the body for next year. And also [can benefit] those involved with the life of personality, that is, who try to build their personality with more skills and sharpening their intelligence. Unless the tools are tuned we can't really work. We say that it is the process of tuning the mass tools . You can then fine tune your tools and prepare for the coming year. Thus, you can design a program for the personality and you can also design a program for the soul. You can program all three aspects of your life for the year that begins. This is a very important aspect of the equinox.

Every time you are going to take a step forward, you yourself are an obstruction to take the next step. Each one is the obstruction for oneself; There is no other obstruction. The lower being prevents the higher being from ascending to the highest cycle. Thus says Krishna in chapter VI of the Bhagavad-Gita: "It is only Atman who is an enemy of Atman in you." The Atman that can be friendly with your Atman. The Buddhi suggests many good things but our habit-forming nature throws cold water on them. So we postpone many good things we think. It is not that good things do not occur to us, in fact good things do occur to us, but then, slowly, they cool, wilt, and are left for later. Thus, the lower being, with its more material constitution, conditions the movement towards higher levels: the body tries to condition the personality program, and the personality conditions the soul program. The soul is conditioned by the personality and cannot reach the spirit. Thus, at each stage there is a threshold determined by the lower part of your being, which is denser, and the material always divides and weakens the spirit.

Here it is important to study the history of Daksha. Daksha had a problem, he was very skilled. Daksha literally means "dexterity". So the skilled man becomes proud, doesn't he? When you have the ability to be very successful, things get on your head. You become a stubborn person. To see what happens to a stubborn person you must read the story of Daksha. He was so capable that he did much for cosmogenesis, the preparation of creation, but he became very stubborn. He thought he was God, refused to see that there was anyone superior to him in the form of his own son-in-law [Shiva], and refused to invite him to the great ritual of Creation he was carrying out. And so it was in the situation of having his head cut off [replaced by that of a goat].

The head cut is a ritual. We have the head cut also in Ganesha's story, as in other stories. Then, it is time for each of us to cut his head, I am not talking about shaving our head but about cutting it off! This is not a hairdresser. Cut your current head and replace it with the head you want to have. Remember all those good things you would like to do, that from time to time they have occurred to you but you have not done, gather all these ideas and see how you can make a program with them. It is necessary that the current head be replaced by a better head. It is the ritual related to Aries, starting today.

During the next 9 to 14 days we must contemplate on how to eliminate certain weeds from our head and institute certain seeds ( seeds ) useful for our growth. Don't think about how those around you should grow up. That's his problem. Everyone should ask: How should I grow this year? Not only external enemies but also internal enemies will in general be more powerful this year than the previous one. Internal obstacles are much harder to overcome than external ones. This is why the head-cut ritual is recognized as one of the most splendid rituals. These rituals existed in the past. They used to offer the head in sacrifice.

When Ravana [mythical king of ten heads] became a great personality, he became arrogant and even challenged the Lord [Shiva]. But then he repented and, having offered his head in sacrifice, he met again with the divine. Then his head became more tender, but by force of habit, it hardened again [his head was cut and replaced nine times]. This head-cut ritual in our Puranas has many important stories.

Then comes the throat cut in the month of Gemini. There are three fundamental rituals: head cut in Aries, throat cut in Gemini and the ritual of tearing out the tongue in Taurus. This means completely redirecting speech. Do not allow your tongue to wiggle. We must drive in tune with what the times offer. When the Sun God, Lord of the solar system, enters Aries, it offers all the potential to change our thinking and improve it. Unless we form better patterns of thinking, how are there to be better speech or action patterns? Because your word is based on your thinking, as is your behavior. And the head is what governs the entire system. If the head of society is not good, society cannot be good. We will try to choose the best head, isn't it? Within the next month. Among the heads available to choose from, what is the best thing you can do?

We must think in our head and, initially, forget about ascending to higher circles. For the moment, what is important is to equate solar and lunar energies in us. The lunar energies are related to the personality, the body, its construction; Solar energies relate to the soul. The soul works through personality, and personality builds the body. So, basically, the body is the Earth, because it is made up of its five elements. And personality is what we build with the help of our mind. An organized mind will have a better personality. And the organized mind must establish an agreement with the soul (the Sun). That is why the Sun, the Moon and the Earth are the three important centers for each of us. Then comes the central Sun, the spiritual Sun, that is, the Spirit. The sun is nothing more than the soul in us, the spirit is the divine in us. Then there is the divine in us, we are the suns or souls, we have a personality and we also have a body. The body must be properly organized with the help of the mind, and we must also build the personality with the joint effort of the mind and Buddhi. Only when the three centers in us (the sun or soul, the moon or personality and the Earth or body) work in coordination, can good things happen to us. When these centers are well aligned, the energy that comes from the spirit flows. The center of the spirit in us is called Shambala, and it is located in our center of the head, Sahásrara or center of the thousand petals. This energy can then descend to our Sahásrara when we have constituted the birthplace of Indra in us. That is why there is a tradition of drawing a vertical line that links the center of the eyebrow with the coronary center. The message behind this is: "I will build the upper bridge, " from the spirit to the soul, so that with the help of the power of the spirit the soul can direct the personality and fulfill the purposes. This verticality should be invoked daily.

There are mantrams with which you can activate the coronary center so that these energies enter your system. They can be invoked with the sounds SA (solar energy) and HA (lunar energy). "R" is the sound of manifestation, the power of fire. Aries is a sign of fire. With the help of fire you can attract solar and lunar energies to you. The mantram would be SAHASRA. Then SA + RA gives us SRIM, and HA + R gives us HRIM. These are other mantrams that relate to the same. SA and HA also constitute the SOHAM mantra. Thus, when the lunar [Ida] and solar [Pingala] energies enter you, they join in Sushuma. They are forms of light: solar ray, lunar ray, and together they form Sushuma to settle in you. You can invoke these energies with the SA-HA-RA (SHR) sounds. In the ashrams and temples of the masters it is said that SAHASRA is the greatest and most powerful mantram: it can grant the complete vision of the universe. It includes the sounds of the sun, the moon and the cosmic fire. The father, the mother and the son. When you achieve an adequate fusion of these three energies you receive so much power. It is said that Aries energy is of great power. It can ram forward with great determination and power, so its symbol is the ram. The ram moves directly to the target and hits the head. Such is the potential of SA-HA-RA sound. With this power you can build your head center, and there is a possibility - for the high initiates - to establish a link with Shambala. Shambala is the Sahasrara of the planet, and is hidden in the Gobi desert [Mongolia and China]. It is also hidden in us, it is not active. It is activated only when the upper bridge has been built. But to build the upper bridge, first you have to build the lower bridge, which connects us to the center of the eyebrows [Buddhi]. You must build it and for this you must have an organized life. The untidy and unstable attitude to exercises does not work, move by emotional impulse to do the practices for a few days and then abandon them. If you move between many peaks and valleys you will not be consistent. Maintaining the same vibration consistently is what is required at the upper levels. The appropriate frequency can be established by an appropriate scheme of thought and action. This allows us to constantly remember that we can be spirit, that we are the soul and can work through personality. Thus we work with verticality. How many of us remember that we are vertical beings? Among all the animated things on the planet, man is the only one that is vertical, in addition to trees. Others are not so vertical. There are animals that can stand on two legs but not all the time. Your spine is horizontal. Our column is vertical. Energetically we are considered vertical, but we must remember daily that we are quadruple beings: spirit, soul, personality and body. If we forget that we are the spirit and the soul, we only remain with the personality and the body. We are fully involved in the construction of these two lower parts of our being. And for what? To expand horizontally. It's not like that? More influence, more power, more contacts, more money; all related to worldly things. But there are two aspects in man: two are horizontal and two are vertical. You must always move between these two axes, incorporating from the upper circles, manifesting in the lower circles. That is how it should work. That is why we must think that we are vertical beings.

Why do we call this moment "equinox"? Today, the sun moves from south to north, crossing Ecuador. It also moves from north to south, crossing Ecuador, in September. At this time, it crosses Ecuador to move to the upper circles.

Y la gente empieza a usarlo aqu y all .

Thank you.

Aries 2009
