Ascension is to evolve, and it is part of the natural spiritual growth of humanity. It is the process that leads you to Reunification with the Divine.
Ascension should not be confused with Enlightenment or Spiritual knowledge. It has qualities of enlightenment but enlightenment can occur in a state other than Ascension. This does not necessarily occur due to spiritual work, however this work can accelerate the changes for Ascension.
It occurs when the person is ready, when is his time, and that time is agreed by the Soul, by the Higher Self. The cleansing or purification of Karma can be an accelerator to activate Ascension. It does not depend on religion, belief, race, creed, or social position. It depends on the maturity of the Soul, vibrational frequency elevation and awakening of consciousness to higher levels.
