This is an important issue if you have ever wondered why, as you grow or get greater spiritual achievements, greater obstacles appear in the same order or sense?

The answer is simple and in fact it can be observed intuitively through meditation, making a chronological account of past events and their corresponding consequences.

What is Dharma and Adharma?

But what is understood by DHARMA ?, is basically teaching, achievements, achievements and its counterpart is the ADHARMA which are the obstacles that arise when faced with greater understanding and knowledge. For example, when the Dalai Lama visited Mexico on most occasions, the obstacles they faced in preparing for their arrival were far greater than those presented in the case of the visit of other teachers.

Somehow there are many conditions that have to be met so that everything is auspicious, the first thing is the accumulation of merit that results from generating positive and constructive karma with the least contaminated activities possible in both intention and action. The second is the gathering of Wisdom that is when it has transcended from conceptual to intuitive understanding, that which is installed with deep meaning in the mind and heart.

more knowledge to move forward ...

We can analyze it in our own practice, if we recapitulate a little, at the beginning of the study of the mind and the heart it seems that everything is conducive, and as progress is being made, impediments appear that have great value and meaning, because in reality, we have greater knowledge and tools to overcome obstacles.

In the case of meditation, at the beginning it seems that we only have to achieve control of the excess of internal dialogue or drowsiness, this is already a challenge in itself, however when moving to more elaborate practices the need for greater knowledge, concentration, detachment and non-aversion become more necessary.

It is at that precise moment that we can feel that things or situations are complicated, if we only see one side of the coin, it will seem that way, but taking care of it further, the reality is that we have more resources in teaching and practice that we They help overcome impediments.

Thus, we must understand that as we grow internally and spiritually, the challenges presented to us are greater, in fact in some traditions - this is the reason for many practitioners to leave the path of self-realization.

patience and generosity

It is important to keep this in mind at all times, not to stop learning and practicing, with the confidence and conviction that what is presented to us as difficulties are only stones in the path that we must do to a patient side and generously to move forward.

If at some point we feel stuck or stuck, there is no more teaching and there are no more challenges or obstacles, it is time to question whether we have fallen into a comfort zone where growth is no longer possible because we are not learning or practicing anything, we just remain calm in the non-realization ... it is important to be attentive in this aspect because over time it becomes a limitation to be more than we can really be and do.

go beyond ourselves…

If it is any use, we can at any time bring to our mind some teacher or teaching reference and observe that they are great and somehow wise because they have gone through countless obstacles that have forced them to go beyond themselves, through of tolerance and sometimes of frustration, it is important not to give up ... perseverance and discipline move mountains ... in reality they are one of many tools for success as practitioners in Dharma or teaching.

aptitude and attitude…

It is said that more important than a great knowledge is the ability to continue beyond any impediment, and it is true is something like that aptitude without a good attitude will not take us far from our starting point.

It is important to keep this in mind to work on sustained personal and internal growth that does not collapse at the slightest inconvenience, we must turn obstacles into teaching, part of the growth and enjoy applying each and every time more resources we have available, the significant The result will be the inner strengthening that will help us to travel through the different stages of our life with success and security.
