Now, without further delay, we begin to enter a world of natural and healing therapies that come to us from the Far East to take care of the health of people in a non-invasive way and without collateral damage No side effects.

Shiatsu Namikoshi

The first type of Shiatsu we are going to talk about is the Shiatsu Namikoshi. This technique is developed by the teacher Tokujiro Namikoshi, and from it derive the rest of the techniques and types of Shiatsu.

This teacher investigated the different types of manual techniques that help relieve some pain and health problems .

It should also be noted that Shiatsu Namikoshi is based on basic knowledge of some medical techniques. Specifically, advanced medicine, such as anatomy and physiology, among others.

In this case, therapists use this technique using the strength of their thumbs and the palms of their hands . Thus they press different areas of the body to relieve different pains.

Shiatsu Zen (Ioh Kai)

The second type of Shiatsu is the Shiatsu Zen, also known as Ioh Kai.

This type of Shiatsu is, along with the previous one, the two most widespread classes in modern world medicine. In this case, it was developed by the shizuto master Masunaga .

This technique is based on a theory of meridians, which is far from traditional Chinese medicine.

Unlike Shiatsu Namikoshi, Shiatsu Zen uses certain parts of the body, such as elbows, knees, and all kinds of areas of the body that contain bone. All this, in addition to the thumbs and palms to press on the different parts of the body. That is why many experts do not consider this technique as part of the Shiatsu.

Shiatsu Aze

It is the third type of Shiatsu by importance, and was developed by the master Shigeru Onoda . In this case we talk about a variety of Shiatsu Namikoshi. Only here it is adapted to the anatomy and constitution of European patients.

In this type of Shiatsu, the so-called warning points have been developed, which are known as Aze points.

Shiatsu Keiraku

One of the characteristics of the type called Shiatsu Keiraku is that, unlike other classes, in this case one works with the meridians of traditional Chinese medicine .

It was developed by the teacher Tadashi Izawa . As these types of techniques are used by means of meridian pressure, some experts name it as acupressure.

Shiatsu Tsubo

Finally, the fifth type of Shiatsu that we analyze today is the Shiatsu Tsubo. This technique class is based on specific points from an anatomical and physiological point of view .

It is developed by master Kiyoshi. He opts for the study of the anatomy and physiology of Shiatsu. He does it to relieve some pain and health problems.

What do you think of these techniques? Remember that all of them bring great calm to your body, without side effects, and are even able to relax your mind and emotions.
