Why interior work?

Why work for inner growth, if it is something that is not seen? Why do jobs that seem as ethereal as the development of consciousness or the construction of character?

In part 2 of the work for inner growth he said that the being is composed of a part that is seen, which is the physical body and another part that is not seen, which is the energy body, what we call aura.

We are going to quantify those parts: Imagine, for example, that the whole being is composed of a total of 100, 000 parts. Well, the part that is seen, the body, is a part, and the part that is not seen, the ethereal body, are the remaining 99, 999 parts.

Our care and attention are for that tiny part that is the physical body; and it is because of the relationship of the body with the environment that we have suffering or joy, serenity or stress; All based on external events. We are conditioned by an infinitesimal part of what life is and what we are.

For that the interior work, to get to know the 100, 000 parts in full. So that an event of matter, of the exterior, of the body, does not affect us more than just, that is, 1 part of 100, 000.

Internal growth work (Part 1)

There is no reason to justify suffering, there is no reason to justify sadness, there is no reason to justify pain. In spite of the situations that you are going through in your life, in spite of a probably hostile environment, despite even losses, it is not justification to suffer or to extend that suffering in time.

Are you suffering or are you unhappy? How long do you plan to continue suffering? How long do you plan to maintain that life of unhappiness and sadness? Do you expect any event that will take you out of that state? Do you expect a certain time to pass? ? Do you expect someone to make a decision for you? In case you do not know, I already tell you now: No future situation, nor the passage of time, or other people's decisions, will get you out of suffering.

The suffering, the pain, the sadness, are yours; So only you have to be able for you to get out of suffering, never to return.

I propose a job, yes, work, there is nothing given to us, everything has to work; So I propose a job to live with joy, to be happy.

“Internal growth work”

What we could also call:

Inner Evolution

Awareness development

Character construction

Before starting to develop the work, which will occupy us a good season, we will devote some lines to clarify the concepts outlined above:

Growth or internal evolution:

It is clear that the mere fact of living already implies growth and evolution, but they are nothing more than evolution and the growth of life. The fact of aging does not imply any extra in interior skills.

What, then, is evolution or inner growth ?:

- It is a process to be free inside.

- It is a process in which a transformation is achieved that will give us the ability to choose how we want to feel.

- It is a transformation in which we can see and feel, in a natural way, a reality that is beyond what your experience has been so far, since it allows you to see the world with an amplitude and depth unknown until now.

- It's a job to contemplate Reality.

- Is to see with new eyes, is to discover, not only intellectually, but from the heart, that we are ONE with the Universe, is to see the connection of everything created.

Awareness development:

Consciousness is the knowledge that a being has of itself and its surroundings. Therefore, to develop consciousness is to bring that knowledge to the extreme limit to know absolutely everything about oneself, and everything is body, mind, energy, emotions, spirituality.

Character construction:

This is going to be the key. We will grow and evolve by building our character.

The character of a person is the collective peculiarities or qualities that distinguish it from others.

We build our character by repeating thoughts, by repeating emotions and feelings, and by the facts that result from them. Think of something very often and for long enough, and that thought will have expression, both as well as the word or the action.

Repeat a fact very often, frequently, and it will become a habit.

A thought is soon rejected, a fact is soon forgotten, but they leave a mark on the character, even if it is light. When they become custom, they deeply self-record in the invisible part of the person's nature.

The character is the collection of habits and consequent tendencies that we have built in all parts of our constitution. It is the accumulation of habits of the body, of emotions and feelings, of habits of thinking and morals, habits of obeying the voice of conscience, or of giving in to temptation, as well as training habits in all fields of effort. It is what we have built in ourselves.

The character is the inner and invisible garment that the Ego weaves around itself through its thoughts and actions, thread by thread, fiber by fiber, just as the larva builds its cocoon in which it must live more late. During life we improve this character, or we degrade it and spoil it. At the end of life, the character still remains as an accumulation of forces and energies, and as such, cannot be annihilated or destroyed. What happens to the character after death?

The Ancient Teachings affirm that it remains unchanged and dormant in internal planes of Nature, until at distant ages the Ego returns to take physical body; and so, that Ego rediscovers its heritage, that character, which has been waiting for its owner. It is like a traveler's check, sent in advance, waiting at the destination for the traveler to arrive.

It is the Will and Testament that our current being does for its future existence, when that Ego returns to Earth as a newborn child, which now begins to self-manifest again, is the capital ”with which he begins his new reincarnation. The newborn entity, therefore, is virtually a reproduction of the entity that previously existed.

The character of a person is deeply rooted and does not change from one day to another, or from hour to hour, as do our way of thinking and our feelings. We cannot shake our character as we do with our mood, but we can change it and reshape it with the same method we use when building it. If a building is not what it should be, and we want to remodel or rebuild it, that can only be achieved by replacing defective parts with new and better designed ones, and this should be done little by little.

It cannot be achieved with a simple impulse, but through a slow and laborious process. This is why we should be very careful with our way of thinking and with our facts when they first occur. We must do it in such a way that there is no opportunity for them to be replaced in the future.

There are no shortcuts to reshape the character. That is the reason why New Year's resolutions, although beneficial, are so often ineffective. In our euphoria we overlook the reality that what we expect to change with minimal effort, was constructed by thoughts and deeds, repeated over and over again, for long periods in the past. In order for it to work, the effort must be constantly renewed and resolutely continued throughout the year, month by month, day by day.

There is a portion of Oriental Wisdom that says:

If I sow a thought, I will reap an action;

If I sow an action, I will reap a habit;

If I sow a habit, I will reap a character;

If I sow a character, I will reap a destiny.

Internal growth work (Part 2)

We are going to dedicate this second part to situate ourselves in our fields of work, since we are not only going to work the physical body, but we are going, especially to work the energy body.

The human energy field, or Aura

The being has two aspects:

+ The physical physical body.

+ The energy body, which cannot be seen if it is not clairvoyant.

The human energy body is a manifestation of universal energy intimately linked to human life.

+ It is called aura, and has been described as a luminous entity that surrounds the physical body and penetrates into it, and emits its own characteristic radiation.

The researchers, based on their observations, have created theoretical models that divide the aura into several layers, sometimes called bodies, that interpenetrate and surround each other in successive layers.

Energy centers

In each of the layers of the aura, there are certain Energy Centers, or Chakras, as they are called in Sanskrit, a word that literally means wheel or rotating disk.

Each individual possesses these centers of strength, although the degree of their development varies considerably. When they are not developed, their brightness is dull and the etheric particles move slowly, forming the merely indispensable for the transmission of force and nothing else; in developed people, on the other hand, the chakras shine and throb, shining like miniature suns. Its size varies from about 5 centimeters to about 15 centimeters in diameter.

The etheric chakras have two distinct functions:

1. Absorb and distribute Prana, or Vitality, to the etheric body and from this to the physical body, thus keeping them active.

2. Bring to the physical consciousness the quality, whatever it may be, inherent in the corresponding astral center.

The chakras and consciousness

The chakras are centers of activity, receptors, assimilators and transmitters of vital energies.

Each chakra reflects an aspect of consciousness essential to our life. The chakras together form a system to model consciousness, which allows us to know each other better; in the mental, in the corporal, in the behavior and in the culture. The chakras system is a valuable instrument of personal development.

From instinctive behavior to the most consciously planned strategies, from emotion to artistic creation, the chakras are the master programs that govern our life, our loves, our learning and our enlightenment, like a rainbow or communication channel between mind, spirit and matter, past and future.

The chakras exist in many dimensions and therefore constitute access points to these dimensions:

+ In the domain of the physical, they are regions of the organism and their electromagnetic activity around the main nerve ganglia can be measured.

# They can, therefore, be used to diagnose and cure diseases, and have, in the physical world, corresponding instruments and associations:

* Tingling in the stomach.

* The knots in the throat.

* Heart palpitations.

* The experience of orgasm.

o They are manifestations of the presence of the chakras in our body.

+ In the domain of events they explain the types of activity, the usual reactions, the interaction patterns:

# Work is an activity of the first chakra, as necessary for survival.

# Music, which is related to sound and communication, is an activity of the fifth chakra.

# Dreams, as a function of inner vision, are an activity of the sixth chakra.

+ In the time dimension, the chakras describe stages and personal life cycles:

# In adolescence we are dedicated to developing the lower chakras:

* You have to establish yourself professionally.

* Explore sociability and sexuality.

* Develop our sense of personal power and world domination.

# In later times of life we are free to explore some of the most creative and ethereal domains of our spiritual life.

* And although this succession of events may be different from one person to another, in general we all remember aspects of our biography and can see the phases in which we developed certain features of our being. Those were transit times through a concrete chakra.

+ In terms of evolution, the chakras are paradigms of the universal consciousness that prevails in a given time:

# In primitive times humanity existed in the first chakra and the desire for survival centered all its activities.

# Agriculture and navigation marked the beginning of the era of the second chakra.

# We are currently going through and ending the third era; Our culture makes its way through mechanisms of power, the use of energy and aggression.

# We are inaugurating a new era, which will take us to the heart chakra, a phase of peace, love and balance between the flesh and the spirit.

# Although these transitions are not usually sharp, or sudden, some stages can be seen clearly in the course of the story.

+ In the mental universe, the chakras are patterns of consciousness, belief systems through which we experience the world around us, while we are developing it.

# As the paradigms of our consciousness change, the world around us changes, and this in both the individual and collective sense.

# Our belief systems, at the core of our being, create the chakras that govern our lives. And it is beliefs that shape the world we are doing.

What is a chakra?

The word chakra comes from Sanskrit and means wheel or disk. It is a whirlpool that spins.

On the physical level, the chakras are related to the nerve ganglia, where intense activity is recorded, and also with the glands of the endocrine system.

Despite the interdependence of the chakras with the nervous and endocrine systems, we should not imagine that they are synonymous with any structure of the physical body, nor is the aura part of the physical body, but rather overlaps with it.

However, its effects on the physical body are intense.

The configuration and content of the chakras are formed, for the most part, by repeated patterns of our actions in everyday life, since we ourselves are always the focal point of these actions.

Repeated movements and habits generate forms and actions in the world around us. However, the programming we receive from our parents and our culture, the physical constitution, the situations in which we are born and the information accumulated in previous lives are also important factors.

The patterns contained in the chakras tend to be perpetuated through this interrelation with the outside world. Because of this, it sometimes happens that one remains as trapped in the pattern of action of some chakra, which reproduces itself endlessly; it is what is called a blockage of that chakra, and that imprisons us on a certain level, such as a certain personal relationship, a job, a habit or, more often, a certain way of thinking. Such blockage may be a consequence of hyperactivity, or on the contrary, of the insufficient development of one of the chakras.

We have hundreds of chakras, but the most important are seven that are associated with seven basic levels of consciousness; when we experience the opening of a chakra we also enter into the understanding of the state of consciousness that is associated with it:

o First chakra:

+ Located at the base of the column.

+ It is associated with survival.

+ Its element is the earth.

o Second chakra:

+ Located in the pubis.

+ It is associated with emotions and sexuality.

+ Its element is water.

o Third chakra:

+ Located in the solar plexus.

+ It is associated with personal power and metabolic energy.

+ Its element is fire.

o Fourth chakra:

+ Located towards the sternum.

+ It is associated with love.

+ Its element is air.

o Fifth chakra:

+ Located in the throat.

+ It is associated with communication and creativity.

+ Its element is sound.

o Sixth chakra:

+ Located in the center of the forehead.

+ It is associated with clairvoyance, intuition and imagination.

+ Its element is light.

o Seventh chakra:

+ Located at the top of the skull.

+ It is associated with knowledge and understanding.

+ Its element is the understanding

Together, these seven chakras constitute the main components of our consciousness, and few people will have gone through life without having to do with each of these levels.

The chakras can be open, closed or in any intermediate state, they can be hyperactive or hypoactive, they can have a dense, odd energy, they can be centered or bent to one side, they can be healthy or damaged Given in any of its parts, etc., etc., etc.

o Such states may be the basic aspects of the individual's personality during most of his life, or vary from one moment to another depending on the situations.

o A sick chakra is usually unable to change state promptly, and that is when healing must take place.

The amount of energy found in a given plane and its quality depend on the situation and state of the chakra.

o Taking as an example the third chakra, (that of personal power), a person who has it very close would feel panicked at the situation of having to speak in public; for another, instead, it would be a stimulating opportunity.

o A person who has the second chakra, (that of sexuality) very open, may enjoy varying between a large number of sexual relations, while another who has it closed may suffer even to maintain a monogamous relationship.

o An individual with a very open heart chakra may take his sense of self-denial to sacrifice and we would say that he does not touch with his feet on the ground.

Ideally, all chakras are open, active and balanced. This is achieved through various exercises, with meditation, acupuncture points, understanding in general, which leads to a deeper state of consciousness. Which is also available to anyone.

Internal growth work (Part 3)

It is time to start working, and the work will focus on both our physical body and our energy body; and from the energy body we are going to work the astral body and the lower mental body. That is, in addition to our physical body, we will work on emotions and thoughts.

The physical body

The physical body is only an instrument of ours, it is not us, it is the instrument that we have been given to carry out our work. But it is a living instrument. It has something that can be called semi-consciousness, has habits, and something that resembles a will, so that it can resist our efforts to change its methods.

The first step in submitting the physical body to our control is to separate ourselves from it in consciousness, and realize that we are not him, but that we are his owner.

But this attitude is not acquired just by thinking about it. It is the result of a rigid and persistent discipline.

Separating from the body involves a four-stage job:

- Body purification.

- Body control.

- Keep it healthy.

- Body sensitization.

Purification and control of the body

Purification means increasing in the body the proportion of the finest classes of matter and eliminating or decreasing the coarsest.

It is through the nervous system that the soul, (in the final part of the work presentation, we will talk about the soul), operates when it uses the physical body. The body is an instrument, but the nervous system is the special instrument by which emotions and thoughts are expressed.

As it is the quality of the physical body will be that of the nervous system, and therefore its ability to respond to vibrations of different kinds.

One might think, that meditating would be enough to achieve the inner growth that we pursue, since by flooding in meditation with another energy of vibration more subtle close to the divine energy, it could heal all aspects of the body, both physical and energetic. It's a mistake. We have already said at some point that meditation is a fertilizer, and that it increases all aspects that exist in being, both good and bad. But with respect to the physical body, there is still an added problem, and that is that the energy received in meditation could damage the physical body. The impurities and toxins of the body could impede the free circulation of energy, energy that feeds the cells of the body, with a result harmful to the body.

The physical body is built with the food and drinks we eat, and naturally, the quality of its constituents will depend on the quality of those foods.

It is essential to follow a proper diet:

- Elimination of pork.

- Reduction of other meats.

- Increase fruits and vegetables.

Abstain from:

- Smoke.

- Take drugs.

- Alcoholic drinks.

o Drink in moderation (wine, beer).

Keep the body strong and elastic through physical exercise or swimming or yoga.

The human body needs 35 to 40 grams of protein daily, and the average western diet includes 120 grams.

Meats are concentrated animal protein.

When they kill the animal, its proteins clot in a few hours. It is a process called self-healing, in which the original substance begins to break down releasing various toxins.

When meat is eaten, it cannot be completely decomposed in the upper digestive tract, and its process of decomposition and toxin release continues in the colon. These toxins can initially be absorbed by the liver, but after a while the liver cannot support them and the body becomes contaminated.

Vegetable proteins do not undergo self-healing since their residue is cellulose, which is stable.

Meat is among the foods that produces more acidity and leaves a residue of uric acid in the bloodstream.

Acid blood is an ideal environment for cancer development.

Uric acid is a toxin that makes it harder to reach the lighter and higher meditative states because it is an irritant in the stomach.

Meat is a good source of cholesterol, which contributes to heart disease, thickening of the arteries and senility.

The meat takes 3 days to pass through our entire system. For good health, men need to digest food within 24 hours, and women in 18 hours.

In any case, it is not appropriate to abuse, spirituality is not achieved in the kitchen.

Body purity is a means to an end.

Health

After purification, the most important requirement is health.

Health means harmonious functioning of all vital organs of the physical body.

The person who is in good health hardly realizes his physical body, while the person who is in poor health is always aware of some part of his body.

When illness is a cause of distraction, it is an obstacle in the path of union with the soul.

In many cases, the disease results from internal disharmony and lack of self-control, and disappears when these causes disappear.

But sometimes, the disease cannot be overcome by karmic causes or because that disease is necessary for the work that person has to develop. Then the person must continue his work, maintaining the right attitude.

Sensitivity

And then something else is still necessary, so that the nervous system responds to higher energies.

That something else is sensitivity.

Purity has to do with the quality of the material. Sensitivity has to do with its vibratory capacity. Because if the purity were sufficient, any child born to parents with pure and sensitive bodies, and fed with pure foods since birth, could easily enter the higher life, but the truth is that he cannot. Your nervous system has not been subjected to that special process that sensitizes you and enables you to respond to the most subtle vibrations.

This is achieved with meditation.

Producing all these changes, some people, find it easier than others; That is because they have worked in that direction in previous lives, and what now seems easy development is nothing more than returning to something already worked in the past.

Everyone gets what they deserve and has conquered.

Daily work

Here begins your work. Reserve a space in your home and time on your agenda. Try to keep the space always the same, and always work at the same time. If you always work in the same space, that place of your energy, of that growth energy that you are working on will be impregnated; and if you always do it at the same time, your whole being is already prepared at that time to do the job, which will always be a little easier.

The best hours of the day for practice are at sunrise and sunset.

I present a series of exercises to perform before meditation, always in case you do not practice yoga, or swimming, or other physical exercise.
