For most people, meditation means sitting down and thinking. When I invite you to a meditation, they answer that they already think too much all day to continue thinking about my classes.

Meditation is just the opposite: Do not think .

When we meditate, we empty the mind of all thoughts and only when we try do we realize how difficult it can be to stop that incessant narrator who is our ego disguised as an intellect.

The ego-mind maintains control over us like this: telling stories where we are always the protagonists and it is amazing how strong it can come to dominate us.

To meditate is to silence this rapporteur and to be able to listen to the soul, to the BEING… and the ego does not support going to the background and will use a thousand tricks to prevent you from listening to the BEING… It will remind you that the fridge is empty and you must go to the supermarkets, it will suggest that it would be better to go to the gym to tone the body since you are half “soft”… It will remind you that it is time to go to the hairdresser, it will try to convince you that it is a waste of time to meditate and that it would be better to give you a massage with delicious aromatic oils ... in short, the ego will always look for ways to get you out of that state to continue commanding him ...

Believe it or not, this meditation is only for the brave since at first it can be a torture that 20 minutes of silence with the scent of incense ... but over time, much self-esteem, tons of discipline and a few ounces of patience will be the entrance to heaven. To our own heaven.

In that Heaven we will find ourselves ... we will discover who we are since the ego is determined to make us believe that we are "professionals", "intelligent", "nice", "popular or famous", "handsome or beautiful" ... and the truth we are nothing like that ... we are simply a constantly evolving BE that assumes the role of handsome or beautiful, intelligent or famous, but those are just stages of our learning and sticking to those stages is what brings us suffering.

Meditate on simply not thinking and that can be from being ecstatic contemplating the sea or stopping to enjoy the beauty and aroma of a flower ... as long as in those moments you empty your mind of all thoughts and surrender to the enjoyment of that moment that It can be wonderful.

Just as we work on toning the muscles and skin of the body, we can get to train our mind with a daily meditation of only 5 minutes, to stop thinking and thus weaken that tyrant a little it's the ego

Meditation is one of the best tools we have to heal the Soul.
