What to do with the Results of the Evaluation in Educational Processes?

Have you ever wondered why and for what the Evaluation of Educational Processes is done ? Actually, I did not have the opportunity to know what my Teachers did with the notes produced by my Evaluation. From my perception and observation, they apparently used them as a mechanism of control, discipline in class and intimidation. I invite you to take a joint tour in relation to the task of Evaluation in each Educational Process .

Evaluation What is it?

“Evaluation in the Educational Processes, is the method by which, it is sought to systematically demonstrate the fulfillment of the objectives set out primarily”

The Rector of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí, the Mexican Architect and Professor Manuel Fermín Villar Rubio, speaks of the Evaluation as a systematic, continuous and integral process, in which the scope of the educational objectives, prepared in advance, is determined .

The French Professor Jean-Pierre Gorin, refers to the Evaluation as a very important item of the educational task, ensures that, without it, it would not be possible to compare the quality of Education or Educators.

Harner sees the Evaluation as a reflection of the teacher in front of the students' performance .

A bird flight, I could tell you, that the Evaluation in Educational Processes is the method by which, it is sought to systematically demonstrate the fulfillment of the objectives set out primarily . And I would think that it must be a constant and continuous task at each stage of the Educational Processes.

In the Educational Evaluation what is evaluated?

“Evaluation as a very important item of educational work, without it, it would not be possible to compare the quality of Education or Educators”

Evaluation as a moderating mechanism of the educational service, allows to measure results and present progress .

Based on the evidence that remains, the student's significant guarantee is based, and the course of action plan to be followed by the Teacher and the Institutional Educational Community.

So who is evaluated?

Basically the Student, the Teacher, Teachers or Facilitator and the learning - teaching process.

And what is evaluated?

The Student is evaluated for Skills, Knowledge, Attitudes, Manifestations, Skills, Capabilities, Skills, Expectations and Interests.

In the Facilitator, Teacher or Educator, Evaluation of Group Work, Domain of the Subject, Application of Pedagogical and Didactic Techniques, Management of Instruments of Evaluation and use of Resources is generated.

In the Learning Process - Teaching, the Sequence and Organization of each subject must be evaluated, and with it, the achievement of achievements, objectives and experiential experiences.

Make Evaluation to transfer learning to practice

The Evaluation as a moderating mechanism of the educational service, allows measuring results and presenting progress

Aiming towards the exclusive improvement of each student and each Educator must be the main and primary task of each Educational Institution and each Teacher . Precisely, this should bring us the results of the Evaluation in Educational Processes.

I write this, and I think about the number of times, in which the students simply become a number, which, divided, multiplied or added to the result of their Evaluation, the Institution and their Teachers, place you in a status of quality standards: high, medium or low. Students will never be numbers!

Why not look more at a constructive and critical work ? Involve the Teacher and in turn the students in the reflection, experience, correction, revision and feedback of the results of the Evaluation. Isn't that a better idea?

When the Teacher collects the information on the outcome of the Evaluation, and involves his students, the feedback becomes more transparent and more efficient .

Then, follow the decisions regarding the education and personal learning of each student. Here it is ensured that, if it is necessary to return to the previous topic, the necessary feedback is made to the student ; and perhaps, it is clear that the educational and training task by the Teacher was not through the best strategy.

If you do this action well with respect to the Evaluation, you will surely ensure that the practice of the theoretical knowledge imparted by you is the best, this, to which they were evaluated at through a mechanism of intervention and evaluation according to a critical and constructive work .

Much to say, it is a subject that deserves a doctoral thesis. For now, I just want you to make an observation of the importance of our students in the Evaluation of each Educational Process, also of our Teachers and Institutional Educational Communities.
