We are a society with spiritual shame

We have spiritual shame, I have no doubt. If we look at social networks we will see that we constantly share jokes, humor videos, animal videos and even music. However, it seems that it costs us much more to share articles of a spiritual nature.

We are ashamed that others think we read about self-help or spirituality.

In many places spirituality is as frowned upon as homosexuality. I do not intend to frivolize with this, but it is a risky comparison, but the fact is that many people have a hard time getting out of the spiritual closet . They have what I call spiritual shame . It is as if being spiritual or reading self-help books is something for which a normal person should feel shame.

There are people who devour self-help books, read articles like this or like others in the White Brotherhood, watch videos on YouTube like the ones on my channel or in many others that speak naturally of spirituality, conscience and all those " crazy " things that spiritual people talk about according to the opinion of those who govern their lives only because of what they can see or what science says, but still, those spiritual devourers seem to be unable to talk later of these issues with the people around him.

It's time to leave spiritual shame behind

The bad news is that as long as we remain imprisoned in our spiritual shame and find it difficult to talk about these issues as someone who talks about football or time, we will not be able to fully open ourselves to the benefits that these issues bring us in all areas of our lives. Being spiritual is not something to be ashamed of, because spirituality is part of who we really are. We are not physical beings who play to be spiritual but quite the opposite.

We are spiritual beings who play to have a physical experience here on Earth.

The good news is that we are increasingly shameless that we dare to talk about all this naturally . It may be more natural for some to watch twenty men running behind a ball on TV, but perhaps it should be more natural to improve our self-esteem, free ourselves from the blockages that limit us, or learn to communicate with others assertively.

I am completely sure that all of the above is much more useful for a full and happy life than to see a few men running on the grass of a soccer field, but no one goes out to celebrate that someone says publicly that they are working to improve their self-esteem and instead the streets are filled with fans when playing the national soccer team of our country.

I have nothing against football, nor sports in general, especially when it comes to practicing it in the first person, but while watching a game on television is more important than reaching our full potential and more important than healing our emotional wounds and our Affective deficiencies, I don't think we can complain about our life being one… can I say shit in an article about spirituality?

It's okay to watch a football, basketball, volleyball or any other match, but it's also good to share books, articles or videos about spirituality and awareness, it's time to normalize something that is part of each of us, we create it or not. Spirituality may not be a science, but it is probably much larger than science, because it is what makes us wonder things and makes us move forward . Science would not investigate anything if there were not so many things that we do not know and spirituality, in large part, encompasses all that world of unknown possibilities of which we are part and that science investigates.

The time has come to share our spirituality with the world

If you find yourself in this situation and you feel spiritual shame, I think it is time for you to stop being ashamed of being spiritual, it is much more embarrassing not to be. Spirituality unites us all, the national soccer team of our country may also unite us, but spirituality as well as uniting us also helps us reach our maximum potential as human beings and that is something to be proud of.

Become a spiritual activist, say goodbye to your spiritual shame, share your spirituality with the world, but do it without imposing anything, remember that spirituality is not about convincing the other that you are wrong, but of accepting it as it is, accepting you also yourself as you are . And if you are spiritual, why should you hide it?

In the following video you have one of my Turbo Reflections, my reflections in a minute, in the video I talk about this topic. If you like, remember to share this article, the video and your spirituality with everyone.
