The magic of life

By Alberto Agraso

I do not believe in luck. Nor do I believe in external powers that control our lives beyond ourselves. I believe in Love, I believe in magic, I believe in personal evolution.

I believe in Love because I have discovered that this is, without a doubt, the greatest treasure of our entire existence. And I believe in magic because my own experiences, and what my heart has whispered along my path, have led me to know her. They have led me to glimpse the magical mystery of Life, its profound meaning, its wonderful mechanics, its inconceivable wisdom, its overflowing beauty, its inexhaustible abundance. They have led me to perceive the small miracles, the synchronicities, the signals, the law of attraction (or whatever we want to call it) and even our invisible friends and guides. But, above all, they have led me to appreciate that high meaning, that higher purpose, for everything that happens that we feel exists.

On my path of personal growth, I have long decided to use my life and my abilities to collaborate with that purpose, to bring more light to my conscience and to the conscience of the world. Not because he thinks he needs it, nor because he thinks he is in danger or something terrible will happen if I don't. But, simply, for love, for my own happiness and that of those around me. Because I think I can do it, as each and every one of us can. Because I can't think of anything better to what I can devote my time to.

And Life in response has filled me with blessings or, rather, has opened my eyes so that I can admire them, and thus be able to enjoy them. It has taught me to work for love and not for fear, to be attentive and present, to direct my thoughts and emotions instead of letting myself be dragged by them. To open myself to understand more than to judge, to discover more than to condemn, to flow more than to fight.

For this reason I share my optimism, for this reason I share the magic in which I believe, the one that I have lived and experienced. I try to remember her at all times, never forget her. Because I know she will take me where I want to go, if I trust, if I have patience, if I cultivate hope, if I look up and I don't let external illusions sink me into them.

I don't always get it, but that doesn't worry me too much either.

After all, our true destiny was never anything that this material world can offer us, but the true goal that we always wanted to reach from that place from where we decided once to come, and to which we all return sooner or later.

Luck does not exist. There is a purpose for everything that happens, a cause that seeks an effect. And that purpose, that cause and that effect, share the same foundation, Love. A Love with capital letters that encompasses all its derivatives: freedom, growth, self-knowledge, happiness ...

That same Love that I send you right now from the depths of my being.
