The Christ plane, transcending duality

  • 2016

In previous articles, we saw how every human being accedes to the Astral plane after death, a new world of emotional manifestation in which there are as many vibrational stripes as emotional states, desires and beliefs can host. We also saw that at the top of that same sphere was the Mental or Devachan plane , a new environment of manifestation more subtle than the previous one but just as transitory and impermanent. This is how after what is known as "second death" we finally arrive at the Causal plane, a new sphere of reality in which our spirit, our true Self, is found.

But not everything ends up in the Causal plane, far from it, it is really here where the arduous ascent path to the upper spheres from which we start really begins. It was our decision to descend to the depths of the Causal plane as pure spirits to be able from there to ascend again to the Monadic or Anupadaka plane (place from which we all come) nourished by the experiential experience that in its countless vital, astral and mental cycles acquired the soul in the lower planes of existence.

That was the original idea and this is how our Being has been able to progressively rise through this sphere until a new zone of confluence is reached, the beginning of the “non-dual” consciousness of Reality. A new " awakening " that comes into our lives when the Being reaches the intermediate zone between the Causal sphere and the Christic sphere. When this happens, the connection established between the spirit and the incarnate soul causes an absence of confrontation between the pairs of opposites . What until then we used to describe as good or bad, of fortune or misfortune, of just or unfair ..., now begins to take on a new meaning. We stop systematically identifying ourselves with one of the two polarities inherent in the manifested world and move on to a higher and more unitary position.

This is how we enter the Christ plane . A new dimensional space in which the Christ consciousness governs, a very pure and refined energy that embraces us warmly and leads us to the top of a sphere where compassion, goodness and love acquire their highest degree of expression.

From here we see clearly how everything converges towards a single and infinite beam of Light-Consciousness that encompasses everything and illuminates everything. It is when we look down when we realize that this immaculate Primordial Light is perceived in a very fragmented way in the lower planes of existence due to the effect of crossing the multiple layers of increasingly dense energy. It is therefore this disintegration of light beams projected on Earth that causes many perceptions, beliefs and interpretations that are made of the same Reality.

But the moment one sees only this one Primal Light as the origin and end of the last Truth, discover that there is no separation between oneself and the rest of Creation. n . Here it is warned that there is no longer room for aversion, intolerance, criticism or reproach, and that the old molds of ordering we had made to pigeonhole the diversity in which we live They are no longer useful, they are useless. The barriers that separated each other have fallen and any value judgment that was intended to be made can only be directed towards oneself.

In such a state of mental clarity, what is most desired is to stop participating in a game of illusions that is well known that winning or losing is just a mirage. It is not a lack of will what one feels but a lack of interest in continuing to live in a world in which what is most abundant is selfishness and vanity. It is not surprising that a being who lives connected to these high frequencies has the only desire to free himself from the shackles of the flesh and return home. This feeling was expressed very well by Saint Teresa of Jesus in her Book of Life when she says:

Oh, what is a soul that is seen here, have to return to deal with everyone, to look and see this farce of this life so badly arranged, to spend time in fulfilling the body, sleeping and eating! Everyone tires her, she doesn't know how to run away, see herself chained and imprisoned. Then he truly feels the captivity we bring with the bodies, and the misery of life. He knows the reason St. Paul had to plead with God to free him from it .

In this high sphere, recognitions and compliments are no longer pursued, nor do they obtain revenues or advantages, the only thing that is truly desired is the Union with the Divine and Freedom . These relatively simple yearnings to understand conceptually are of no use if they are not lived as such. This is the immense value that each of the lives we live has. It is not enough to believe, think, philosophize, conceptualize or theorize about a certain state, level of consciousness or spiritual condition; If what is intended is that it acquires validity and is integrated into the Being, it will be necessary to have to feel it, live it, put it into practice and experience it in its own flesh even when it implies a tiring sorrow.

Thus, even after having managed to transcend the Causal plane where one was inevitably subjected to the cycle of death and rebirth because of desire and karma, there also remains a certain need for Renaissance. The difference however is significant. Reborn again does not mean starting over. When a being that comes from the critical sphere descends to the physical plane to begin a new life cycle, he is hardly subjected to the illusion of maya. When your spirit remains awake in a non-dual sphere of reality, it is enough that there is a weak connection with your true Self (Higher Self) so that your egoic mind also awakens in the underworld .

Path to Enlightenment

In pronouncing the word Buddha, Christ or Krishna, what we are really doing is referring to the same universal consciousness with different appellations. The meaning of Buddha or Buddha is that of the one who is awake, the enlightened one. A state that, as we know, Prince Siddhartha Gautama reached after a long journey in search of Truth.

The word Christ on the other hand comes from the Greek "christs" which means "the anointed one", although traditionally other meanings have been attributed to him as "full of grace" or "triple flame", which in Christian theology corresponds to the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Christ consciousness is therefore a state of grace that reflects the greatest expression of divinity in a body of flesh. Jesus Christ was a living example of this during his time on Earth and his message was clear: "The truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

Only through Supreme Knowledge can man free himself from the suffering produced by ignorance. But this is not a knowledge that can be acquired through the study and memorization of the sacred scriptures, but only through experiential experience can we permeate it. And when this happens, the Christ consciousness extends throughout the Being, thus producing a true spiritual resurrection . This is the conscientious awakening that will sooner or later sprout from our heart like a torrent of pure and crystalline energy whose truth, radiance and transforming power will radically change our conception of Life.

And Krishna, whose literal translation is "supremely attractive" but usually translated as "the supreme personality of God, " is for Hinduism the eighth avatar (incarnation) of the god Visnu; that is, a divine manifestation that comes to the world to get man out of confusion.

It is often speculated that it was the same being who came into the world as Krishna, as Buddha and as Jesus in different eras and historical contexts in order to provide humanity with the same message of liberation. There are no documents or texts that can corroborate such a hypothesis, but it is interesting to remember the words that Krishna himself pronounced more than 5, 000 years ago:

“Whenever good decays gradually disappearing, evil and pride predominate instead, my Spirit manifests itself in human form on this earth.” (Bhagavad Gita, 4: 7)

Maybe it was the same being who came into the world in successive ages or maybe not, but there is no doubt that these three characters embodied the same divine consciousness and were bearers of the Eternal Supreme Knowledge . Great Masters of Wisdom or Ascended Masters like Jesus, Buddha, Krishna and others who, like them, came to show us the way, are really as children of God as any of us. They are our older brothers and where they are is where we all are headed.

But let's not think that as soon as we set foot in the Christ sphere one becomes Christ, Krishna or Buddha without more, we will certainly be on the road, but in this plane, as in the previous ones, there is a series of intermediate strips or sub-planes through which it is also necessary to travel as we have been doing until arriving here. The natural progress of a being who has just woken up from the dream of maya is that a transformation first takes place in him, from which what is known in Buddhism is known as bodhicitta . Sanskrit term which means to have the mind (c itta ) set on enlightenment ( bodhi ) or what is the same, desire to be enlightened.

But the desire to obtain enlightenment is not comparable to any of those gross desires that so many times before led us to have to be reborn again. On this occasion, when one has awakened to his true spiritual nature, he feels a sincere interest in wanting to do something for others. It is therefore a high yearning that is actually double. On the one hand you want to share that state of lucidity with others with the intention that they can also obtain it, and on the other hand you seek to attain Buddhahood (enlightenment).

This double motivation is very well represented by what we might call a pre-Bodhisattv or learner of bodhisattva (the being who seeks enlightenment). And I say apprentice because the true bodhisattva is one who finally motivated by his compassion renounces his own enlightenment and acquires the firm commitment to help others free themselves from suffering (dukkha) .

It will be precisely this act of renunciation that will ultimately cause a bodhisattva to become a Buddha. There are other ways besides the bodhisattvico to reach enlightenment, such as the one followed by the sadus, the monks, the hermitages or whoever chooses to lead a life of renunciation to devote themselves entirely to contemplation, although as the wise Abu Said said: `` The shortest way to reach God is to serve others and make them happy. ''

And in the Bhagavad Gita (5: 3-5) it can be read:

As an authentic waiver, he is considered to be nothing he desires and nothing he hates. Well, the one who is not affected by the pairs of opposites will soon find his release. ( ) Those who make a life of renunciation achieve the same victory as those who act with detachment.

Also Lao Ts writes in the Tao Te King (VII):

Heaven is eternal and Earth is permanent. They are permanent and eternal, because they do not live for themselves. Thus, they can live forever. The Sage, therefore, postpones his I, and his I progresses. It is detached from its self, and its self is preserved. Since he doesn't want anything personal, his person is done.

We see how the acts of renunciation and detachment are paradoxically those that ultimately allow the attainment of Buddhahood or of the Critical state. But resigning does not mean abandoning responsibilities. Recall but what Jesus also said about this:

If anyone wants to come after me, deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me. (Matthew 16:24)

Denying oneself is a good way to define this act of renunciation, but by telling us that each one takes his cross Jesus warns us that this does not mean that we can disregard everything with the pretext of wanting to embark on a path of spiritual search nowhere. We can perfectly follow in the footsteps of Christ, Buddha, Krishna or whoever seems best to us without having to disregard our most mundane obligations and much less try to avoid the karmic weight (the cross) that everyone carries with him wherever he goes. .

The action is after all inherent in the manifested world and much can be done without falling into the game of duality. It is enough to change the attitude with which each situation is approached, allowing things to simply happen, without effort, acting according to the dictates of the heart, with the will to do good and without expecting any kind of recognition or praise in return.

“Such a man, who has renounced the fruit of his actions, is always happy and free from all dependence; and although he intervenes in the action, he does not act . (Bhavagad Gita 4.20)

The way of acting is what reveals the spiritual condition of a person, so to become a bodhisattva it is not necessary to have to carry out great humanitarian works. As it is an inner state, it will be in his daily work when he can exercise as such by acting with benevolence, compassion and detachment. Often the only difference between an authentic bodhisattva and a simple, humble and good-hearted person who contributes to the common good with his daily work is the fact that the former has already awakened from the illusion of maya, leads a life Inner much more conscious and there is no attachment in their actions.

What drives a bodhisattva to action is not a sense of justice but of compassion. Perhaps some of the tasks they carry out may have a combative appearance, but their purpose will always be ultimately compassionate. A bodhisattva is what in other religions we also know by the name of Saint, Prophet or Mahatma. That is, great souls at the service of God and man .

And when renunciation, surrender and detachment are definitive, one attains Buddhahood without even proposing it. It is the long-awaited enlightenment, a state that not only banishes the suffering of our lives completely but also gives realization to the Self.

The point is that upon reaching these high strips of the Christic or Buddhist sphere in which one finally obtains enlightenment, it is considered that Nirvana has already been reached; that is, that the prodigy of bringing Heaven to Earth has been achieved.

Nirvana does not have a specific representation in the heavenly worlds, it corresponds rather to a state of deep inner peace, mental stillness, joy, happiness and fulfillment, the fruit of the most sublime divine communion. Nirvana is the true Heaven that virtually all religions in one way or another in its most mystical and profound sense.

A graphic way of describing what it means to reach the nirvanic or enlightened state is to resort to the famous raindrop that after a long trip returns to the ocean from which it departed. But it happens that for many this is an image that arouses a feeling of loss rather than fullness since it suggests a dilution effect. Therefore, the approach that some theosophists take in this regard when they say:

"The effect of conquering a Nirvanic state is not that of the drop pouring into the ocean but that it is as if the ocean itself was pouring into the drop and it for the first time became aware that it is the ocean."

This is a good way to explain that the Union with God, with the Universe, with the Absolute or as you prefer to call it, does not mean losing your own consciousness of Being but that it is actually that which extends to the Totality.
