Commitment and Responsibility IN THE REIKI by Alfonso del Rosario

When we decide to dedicate ourselves to Reiki, or any other therapy with similar characteristics, we must be aware of the Commitment and Responsibility we acquire with ourselves and with the people with whom we are going to relate in the field of healing.

Commitment and Responsibility, are two Universal Laws that act together with the Law of Karma, for the correct use of the energies that are put into activity in the healing process, where a conscience intervenes, with the intention of promoting healing or healing of anyone who needs it. These Universal Laws will influence the therapist, according to the objective and intention that you have previously put in this service task.

The Law of Commitment, acts in two ways, one, related to the people that Karma, will approach our lives, so that we help them in some way, either for health problems, for psychological problems or for those of spiritual type

The other way in which the Law of Commitment acts is related to ourselves, in relation to the internal obligation we have to condition and harmonize the physical body, our emotions and our thoughts, in a state of Peace and Stable balance. Under these conditions, good physical health and emotional and mental control are sufficiently achieved, refined enough to be able to face the new situations that are going to arise, with people in which these states, physical -Sychological, may be altered or decompensated. If we have our body and our mind well coordinated and trained, we will be free to be affected in compromised situations where they can disrupt and affect our health.

For these requirements to be consolidated and entrenched, we would have to practice meditation daily, an exercise that allows us to train our mind, and our thoughts and emotions-desires, exercising them so that they become faithful collaborators of our spiritual development. Meditation is the best mental exercise we can do to reach the deepest part of our being, and to know the origin of our traumas, desires, phobias, manias, habits, etc., that condition our lives, and thus be able to see ourselves free. of these shackles that prevent us from flying towards those high states of being, where our Soul dwells and thus be able to receive advice and instructions from it.

This integral preparation will allow us to attract and transmit the spiritual energies correctly, which, like Unconditional Love, we are going to offer the people or beings we are going to deal with. We must be aware that if we have not done this previous work, we can be affected and conditioned by the physical, emotional or mental states of the people to whom we are going to provide our healing services, and thus, little or nothing we will be able to Do to help them.

The Law of Commitment will also influence our Spiritual Nature, and therefore, in the most subtle energy qualities of our Soul, such as Love, Compassion, Goodness, Altruism, etc., spiritual qualities and expressions, which they must be somehow present already in our daily lives. This is an important aspect to consider in order to correctly perform our Reiki work or any other one with similar characteristics. If we do not have in our heart, in our hearts, any glimpse of these spiritual qualities, we will hardly be able to access that Universal Source of Unconditional Love and much less, we will be able to transmit that subtle and powerful spiritual healing energy that is Compassion. If we are not minimally prepared in this sense, if these spiritual virtues are not present in our lives, how are we going to be channels, so that this kind of delicate and sensitive energies can be attracted and conducted through us, if we have not felt and experienced before ?, how are we going to recognize them?

The Law of Responsibility begins to affect us as therapists, once we have freely and voluntarily decided to acquire the Commitment to help all beings who approach us in search of our help. Responsibility will be linked and closely linked to us through that other Universal Law that is Karma.

Responsibility is always linked to Knowledge, and this always leads to Power, a power that can manifest itself in many ways, and which in this case, is focused on the attraction and emission of healing energies. In this type of healing, the power and power to attract and project energies of many different types, some very subtle and vibrant, especially spiritual ones such as Compassion, Goodness, and others of a more tangible energy and vitalizing character such as Chi or Prana.

The attraction and manipulation of the energies that are put into activity in Reiki, confer on the therapist, a Power and a Responsibility, which are increasing, as it gradually acquires and exceeds the levels of learning and practice towards everything that suffers.

So that we can be conscious channels of Divine Love that we will shed wherever we are, without making distinctions, of sex, social status, religious beliefs, physical condition, sympathy or antipathy a, etc., must be present in our interior in some way, the Altruism and the lack of Interest and Selfishness, and therefore of Recognition and Reward for the work we are doing. We must always keep in mind that you have to do Good for the Good itself, and not for the gratifying consequences or any other type that may be derived from it.

The Master-Initiator acquires with the people he will initiate in Reiki, a Commitment and a Responsibility rarely contemplated. The Master-Initiator has the Duty to lead a pure life and in keeping with his most noble thoughts and inner aspirations. In this sense, you must greatly refine your vehicles, physical, emotional and mental, to make them more sensitive and more effective in healing work. For this reason, Meditation must have been incorporated in such a way in your life, that it has to be a daily habit, an activity that will give you greater sensitivity, greater intuition and greater knowledge in everything related to himself as Personality and as Soul, and therefore, to be more intuitive and more wise in his relationship with everything around him, people, situations, problems, etc.

The Commitment and Responsibility of the Master-Initiator does not end or end in itself, but it also becomes extensible to all the aspirants to whom he will begin in Reiki. The fact of granting the temporary capacity in the aspirants, so that the healing power circulates through them, confers and generates in both parts, the Master-Initiator and the people who will reach some degree in Reiki, existential links and connections, which are likely to be established and maintained for long periods of time. These strong magnetic ties of spiritual communion, between Initiator and Initiates, will be extended and extended throughout the Lineage of Teachers who have perpetuated the Knowledge and Wisdom of Reiki until our days These subtle connections, will come and make contact with the same Master Usui, the founder and propeller of this method of healing, being also united to these people, by these mysterious threads of light, making His presence and teachings in some way, survive and continue to be actively present in the Masters who continue and continue in this work of healing.

Because it is Reiki, a Sacred Healing Activity, and because of the importance it has in our spiritual evolution, to be receivers and transmitters of qualified spiritual energies, is why we have to take very seriously the reasons that drive us to be Reiki practitioners.

The Law of Karma will provide us with everything we need in this healing work, facilitating and rewarding (so to speak) with increasingly important service opportunities. The Law of Karma, will act (so that if the logical and natural spiritual commitments are not fulfilled correctly), the healing faculties that could have been awakened in the beginning are probably inhibited, probably not allowing the present and in a certain future, continue to develop this spiritual work. The Law of Karma does not reward or punish, but rather behaves like a Fair Judge, who tries to harmonize any imbalance that may occur, even if we, as personalities that we are, may seem unfair to us.

The Tibetan Master Djwhal Khul in the book "Esoteric Healing", makes some comments on the minimum requirements that the person who is going to devote to healing must have ... ... we should not embark on this laudable and transcendent activity, if it is not in line and in accordance with our internal preparation, and with our correct way of life ... ... healing requires having a harmonious physical body in terms of its health and functionality, a stable astral body, where emotions do not prevent freely exercising without sentimental interference the healing activity, and a mental body trained in meditation and creative visualization, in order to properly channel the special and subtle energies that will be put into activity during any healing session.
