Cantabria integrACT A in favor of social inclusion

Coinciding with the European Year for the Fight against Poverty and Social Exclusion, the cultural center of Torrelavega will host the Spain Spain initiative in which the artistic and audiovisual proposals developed by different social sectors will be shown to achieve a more inclusive and egalitarian society.

Composed of a gala and an exhibition, 'España integrACTÚA' shows the short films, spots and artistic proposals developed by the cinematographic, advertising, academic, public administrations, NGOs, trade unions and citizens during 2009.

On the morning of Monday, October 18, all these proposals will arrive at the Cultural Center of Torrelavega where the exhibition will be inaugurated, which will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. until the 22nd, and where the gala will take place in the afternoon, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The works that can be seen will be:

Spot 'It's in your hands' of the Repaté group

Winning piece of the I Advertising spots contest in favor of social inclusion. An initiative that has had the collaboration of the Creative Club, the Spanish Association of Advertising Agencies and the Complutense University of Madrid.

Short documentaries 'Fighting is living' and 'A life more than dignified'

Resulting from the action Video workshops for inclusion show four real stories of social inclusion from the voice of its protagonists, with the collaboration of the filmmakers Benito Zambrano and Dácil Pérez de Guzmán, the Institute of Secondary Education Pradolongo and the Film Academy .

Winning work of the 'IntegrACTÚA con arte' contest that shows the labor, cultural, religious, emotional and leisure inclusion of immigrants in Spain.
