On Earth we reincarnate in order to learn karmic lessons and therefore evolve spiritually. When we have mastered the cycle of reincarnation, we have an option to begin a new cycle of experience on a more advanced planet, or to remain on Earth as Ascended Masters in order to help the rest of humanity . A person as advanced as this will make their choice according to what they know is the right thing to do and not according to their own personal tastes.

The Ascended Masters understand what is known as the " Spiritual Hierarchy of the Earth "
However, it should be taken into account that some non-ascended individuals are also in the Spiritual Hierarchy of the Earth or are closely related to it.
Why don't Ascended Masters walk openly among us?
Due to the karmic pattern of humanity as a whole, the Ascended Masters are not, by divine law, do not allow them to walk openly among us that we are not yet advanced enough to deserve this and the world as a whole would not handle a situation so correctly These beings deserve the utmost respect and love, and should be treated practically as gods, whose every teaching must be obeyed to the letter without a doubt. They have colossal powers. For example, an Ascended Master could sit in a blast furnace without burning, and he could cut a mountain in half using nothing but the power of thought. They also have huge clairvoyance powers. But his most important attributes are his great wisdom and compassion.
Where they are and what they do
They live mainly under different mountains around the world, and have retreats in the following places: Grand Teton, Mount Shasta and Peak Castle in the US; Luxor, in Egypt; Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; Ben Macdhui in Scotland; The Andes; Sri Lanka; and the Himalayas. As a general rule, Ascended Masters only come into contact with very advanced people, and they always have a very good reason to do so when they do.
The most important function of the Ascended Masters is simply to be what they are and to be on Earth. They affect the karmic balance of the Earth very favorably, and Dr. King said he believed that humanity would only last on Earth for about three and a half days without them, because of the negative karma that would quickly fall into our absence .
Examples of members of the Spiritual Hierarchy of the Earth
Lord Babaji, is the spiritual and political head of the Hierarchy, and unlike the Count of Saint Germain, the Master Saint Goo-Ling and others, is a Cosmic Master instead of one of the Ascended Masters, which means that It is not from this Earth. He comes from the planet Saturn, which is the most advanced planet in this system. It is said that he is the greatest Master who has arrived on Earth, and has been in the same physical body for 3 billion years.
Mr. Maitreya, a high-ranking member who is on the Internal Council of the Spiritual Hierarchy. He occupies a prominent place in the ancient Vedic Hindu writings under the name of Maitreya Rishi, and is the master of the Count of Saint Germain.

Madame Blavatsky, is a member of the Spiritual Hierarchy, although we do not know whether or not he is actually an Ascended Master now. A controversial and colorful figure, who has, with some reason, called the "Mother of the New Age, " in reference to her contribution of paradigm shift in spiritual thinking in the 19th century.
