The 4 elements in the human being

  • 2014

The four elements (earth, water, fire, air) symbolize the 4 main "states" in the consciousness of the human being, so that with his combination he can acquire the necessary experience - understanding of both himself and his circumstances.

The earth is the objective reality, the most external and vital. Water is the nutritious emotion, the ideal feeling that generates motivation. Fire is the mind, the power - light that purifies and governs. The air is the intuition, the subtle and divine inspiration generated by the synthesis. All these "tools" so unique to human psychology always show interaction between them to achieve unification and capacity to be. But for this mechanism to acquire its maximum capacity for functioning, it is essential that there is a deep need to do so. This leitmotiv or "first spark" always appears through the conflict that produces duality: desire-reality. When the demands of the "desired" desire (water) do not correspond to the reality of our experiences (land), restlessness is served, and the need to go beyond activates us. Reality very often does not correspond to what is desired, and such an imbalance keeps in itself the opportunity to achieve a more fruitful synthesis towards life. The intensity of the imbalance generates the aspiration, (introjected water-land), which leads us through the discriminating power, (fire), of the mind, to a constant self-observation of the incessant movement of our mind-emotional states; This focused concentration leads us to the compression of causes and effects and the consequent mental silence, prelude to intuition (air) or synthesis. Once the intuitive approach has been achieved thanks to the constant attention, the mind offers us its help again to be able to give an “anchor” to this intuition. That is, the Mind through the abstract mind offers a creative structure to inspiration, so that later, and with the concrete mind, it can be experienced in objective reality. "Energy follows thought". With the achievement of this process, emotion (water) ceases to be reactive, and becomes receptive, empathetic, and understanding; and "the noble land, " (physical body), as always, will be disciplined and in gratitude will be revitalized for the correct expression of thought intuition.

The important rol of the mind (fire) *

Once upon a time, the mesticians achieved intuitive acquisition through a powerful sublimated feeling and its consequent aspiration, love touched the sky, and it truly was so and it had to be; but very often these physicians had serious problems in order to be practical with themselves and their circumstances. The power of the mind was underestimated, and the emotion on its way back, once seen the sky, overflowed with suffering. It was a faith of great power for the `` things of heaven '', but sadly negative for the closest matters. Today, and thanks to human evolution, we know that mental receptivity and its ability to manage is really the midpoint, and the place she occupies in this wonderful process of energy exchange and forces we can sum it up as follows:
  • Deep desire to achieve unity (aspiration) MIND Achievement of synthesis (Intuition)
  • Intuition MIND MIND Practical application in the physical-emotional world of the new truth. (experience-understanding).

* The fire : wants, sabe, analiza, comprende, es, directs He is the owner of the will, the rector. The mind is sensitive and receiving the divine and at the same time it is the guiding intelligence towards the `possibility of the concrete or material

We can be extroverted or introverted, we can really want to acquire experiences to learn or rather desire to internalize ourselves to understand, we can have the heart as a path or maybe mental creativity. No matter the tendency we have, the important thing is the acceptance of oneself, and thus, with a calm heart, to be able to make our world more flexible through common sense, mental creativity, sense of humor, sense of opportunity, patience, trust, reflection The earth is sustenance and protection, where thanks to the nutrition of water, heat from sunlight and the subtle air that the seed brought, the flower grows. The four united are the five, la flor, the Soul : the beauty that is shown thanks to the union of our abilities.
