So, today's post just wants to give a quick and panoramic view of some ideas that seem key to us about this wonderful world. Obviously, we want it to be a post and not a treatise, so there are numerous issues that we put aside and focus on what seems most important to us.

The enneagram is a theory that comes to us from the east through different authors who "westernize" this kind of study on the personality of the human being. One of the people who with more zeal and fortune deals with the subject is Claudio Naranjo himself. Thus, the Chilean psychiatrist affirms that all human beings function under three triads: the triad of action, the triad of emotion and the triad of reason . And why do we call them triads? Because in turn, they are subdivided into three types of personalities each. That is, that all human beings, we would fit into nine profiles, neither one more nor one less.

In turn, each eneatype is again divided into three other subtypes; but, in order not to bundle this text much, we will not go deeper into this issue. Didn't we say this was a quick guide? Well let's go to it!

Thus, although this world of the enneagram, at first boat, may look like astral scrolls and you can think "this is like the horoscope!", The reality is that it has nothing to do. It has much more to do with psychology, but we believe that, in turn, it goes much further than her.

Therefore, and according to the experts in the enneagram, each and every one of us fits into one of the profiles that we will describe below. Of course, it does not mean that we only function as an eneatype; We all have something from everyone, but from one much more, since it is the engine that moves us.

The most provocative issue is that since our personality was formed from the age of 8 or 9 we have always belonged to the same profile . It cannot be that as youngsters we had a personality and now, older, we are a different one. What it can be is that depending on the vital moment that we find ourselves, it seems more like a number than another, but in the end we remain the same.

TRIADA OF THE EMOTION.

ENEATIPO 2 : They are people who have a very powerful PRIDE, although, many of them hide it with an apparent sweetness. At certain times in your life, it is easy for them to have appropriated family roles that did not correspond to them. Desire and passion are fundamental axes of your day to day; Sometimes, they are also very fads. They love feeling needy and that the world revolves around them, although it is no less true that if they are well, they are the most generous and altruistic people in the enegram.

In a focused state, they are very loving and detached people; they are those who, potentially, can give more, without expecting anything in return.

ENEATIPO 3 : They are personalities in which the idea of ​​being well, of doing the right thing is always very present; They need each other's eyes to be happy. Therefore, they are quite VANIDOUS and, at certain times, do whatever it takes to gain recognition from others. So, in general, its brightness is not as authentic as it might seem and if it scratches a little, it is seen that they live pending from others.

Of course, in their healthy state they are very productive, efficient and effective people.

ENEATIPO 4 : They are handled from the ENVY and the comparison; They have a feeling of constant lack . His life revolves around the continuous fight between the difficulty of being understood and the inability to understand the world around them. Sometimes, they are so committed to the search for love that when they are presented they do not see it because it is as if, deep down, they preferred to keep looking for it than to have it; Many are very tenacious and constant, others can be very aggressive .

In general, they are also very intense, romantic, self-demanding and very angry with themselves.

When they are focused, they are very empathetic, affectionate and especially creative people.

TRIADA OF THE REASON

JANUARY 5 : They are usually somewhat reserved people and they love being alone, loneliness is their natural way of life. In their less healthy state they are usually quite antisocial and they are locked in their particular cave where knowledge is usually their only companion.

They are especially observant and have an infinite love for wisdom ; So much so that they are often AVARICIOUS because they do not like to share it with anybody:

In their healthiest state, they work in the opposite way when they are off-center and can be detached and generous, becoming, for example, excellent scientists.

ENEATIPO 6 : its engine is FEAR . They are personalities that are always on the defensive thinking that any fatality can occur, paranoia is no stranger to them; They are also very obsessive and are always half worried. Therefore, they are very farsighted and love to have everything under control. This control, if excessive, leads them to states in which doubt takes hold of them. Normally, they are good strategists and always have a B plan.

With authority they always have a special relationship, although the usual thing is that leaders like to have them close by.

Some people of this subtype can be very violent, since their only way of dealing with fear is since they always take the first blow; Its motto would be that of the best defense is a good attack.

On the other hand, when they are focused, they are people who are looking for balance, they are loyal and they are usually good companions of travel In fact, although they do not belong to the triad of emotion, they can be very affectionate.

ENEATIPO 7 : They are lovers of life (and its pleasures); therefore, the GULA usually seizes them. They do not like to face pain, or complicated or difficult situations; so, they specialize in doing like nothing ever happens. They are very nice people (sometimes, eternal Peter Pan) and nice people who, in turn, are able to convince you of almost anything; they are the tricksters of the enneagram.

The famous here and now of the Gestalt for them would have no secret! Well ... in fact, it would be a here and now, and elsewhere and tomorrow; a kind of everything and always!

Of course, some of them focus their gluttony on a desire to achieve purity and can be very obsessive in achieving it. Thus, they are great defenders of lost causes or of the most disadvantaged.

When they manage to focus, they are the ones we can learn the most from living life from joy and authentic joviality.

TRIADA OF ACTION

ENEATIPO 8 : They tend to tend towards excesses, and in many cases they work from LUJURIA. They are very powerful people (with a very strong appearance that can be very scary to the naked eye), with a clear sense of integrity and who defend theirs to death. Normally, they fit well in the role of leaders, and, depending on their personal development, they can become the worst criminals or on the contrary they can be the wise, protective and welcoming personality in which we all like to support each other.

In a healthy state they give off security, self-confidence and have justice very present.

JANUARY 9 : if they neglect PEREZA, it seizes them and, on too many occasions, for not making noise they go completely unnoticed . They are in danger of spending their lives pleasing others instead of satisfying their basic needs that, in many cases, they do not even really know. They tend to merge into each other and get carried away.

Of course, when they focus, they are the key piece for the world to function well, becoming the great mediators of the enneagram.

ENEATIPO 1 : they are people who get carried away by their idea of justice, which does not necessarily have to coincide with that of the rest of the world. They always want everything done well, but in their own way; they tend not to be very aware of the needs of the other and are very empathetic and perhaps somewhat " hepatic " people.

Your order goes ahead of everything and everyone. Thus, they are very perfectionist and demanding, both with themselves and with the rest of the world. Some may have done very cruel and violent acts, thinking it was the right thing to do. The "must of", like some six, have it very present.

His crazy idea is that "if they are not perfect nobody will love them"!
