While it is true that we all belong to a Universe, like the stars and the planets, each one, in itself, is also a Personal Universe, of which he is Creator, only participant, responsible, and beneficiary or sufferer most of the time, at their own choice.
There is the rest and the others on the one hand, and on the other hand there is Self.
And although for cosmic or esoteric purposes we are all One and form part of an All, the undeniable reality is that one has his own Personal Universe.
It is very good to be part of something bigger and feel part of that great family that is Humanity, but that is not enough reason to abandon the main reasons for living this life, which can be or are: achieve Personal Development, to meet the Divinity installed in each one, to do good, to love one's neighbor, to be happy, etc.
Each one will find those in which he thinks they are true, and if he observes them carefully he will verify that there is something common in each and every one of them: the undeniable and irreplaceable presence of Self.
One lives life outside, where it manifests and is recognized, but the real life is the one that develops, or has to develop, in relation to itself.
If one closes the eyelids, he is immediately alone with himself.
Open eyelids connect us with the other and with the others. They put us in touch with the environment where we live, with the other people with whom we share our way through life and experiences, but also with what separates us or distracts us from us.
On the outside, the ego manifests, and it would be convenient for him to continue doing it outside. Inside, behind the closed eyelids, begins the Personal Universe, where One Is and One is. Of course, it is as unexplored as that vast and unknown universe full of galaxies and with unimaginable distances.
What can be done to contact Self?
Close the eyelids and wait, discarding the usual thoughts and distractions, and prepare the ground for silence. SILENCE, and this is an arduous and difficult task.
I don't know if you've ever tried it. If you have done it, you know what I am talking about. If you haven't done it, and if you can, this is a good time to do it. It is convenient to look for a quiet place and time, without fear of being interrupted, and put yourself - without expectations or impediments - to the task.
Close the eyelids and wait.It is the moment in which untimely memories, pilgrim ideas, incredible nonsense, tasks, obligations, excuses ... distractions, after all, that the small and frightened self that conforms to what it knows and is frightened by the possibility of meeting will appear With the authentic I.
The inner world is the great unknown to many people.
They don't know what there is, how it is, how it can affect, how it can benefit. And the fear of that little me is not a great ally, but an impediment.
My proposal is to enter an unexplored world of which everything is unknown, of which much is presupposed, where you can find surprising and very pleasant things - it is the residence of La Paz - but, yes, almost always good things are achieved after an arduous process that revolutionizes revealing unknown facets of one, the things that grip us and condition us, the fears that govern us, the mistakes with which we walk, what we are not ...
But it is that what we are, who we are, and where are the keys to what we have to do, inhabit that Personal Universe where our soul lives, our essence, where wisdom is, where the character sheds his disguise to find the nakedness that nothing hides from who you really are.
I will not describe what can be found, because then one would enter conditioned and more attentive to what does not appear than to what does appear, and with expectations that may be different from reality, and because each person will find Someone different but share the essence with the rest of Humanity.
Dare yourself. There you are and there you can meet the authentic Me that you are. A process of Self-Knowledge, of Personal Development, is the only viable and enriching way. There are no short cuts. There is no way to avoid it: it requires awareness of your current reality - which will never be easy - it requires dedication - this is not done in a weekend workshop - it requires will - it is better to be constant - it requires openness of mind and heart - to welcome what appears - it requires love - without love it is doomed to failure - and it takes time - you cannot set goals, because you don't know where the end is, and you can't make a goal temporary, because hurry does not help but hinders.
It is my best recommendation.
And, in addition, I dare to guarantee that whoever enters his Personal Universe will be very different when he leaves.
