Think positive, Brahma Kumaris Spain

“A simple but precise statement. What we say, what we do, what we feel ... everything originates in the mind. The energy of the human mind is thought. It is possibly one of the most important energy resources in the universe, but also one of the least understood. ” Thus begins the invitation that the World Spiritual Association Brahma Kumaris (AEMBK) has made to encourage interested people to sign up for the next Positive Thinking Course.

The objective of the workshop is to provide knowledge of the nature of thoughts and provide methods to be a more positive and constructive person in the home, work and relationships.

Some of the topics covered during the four sessions that the cycle lasts are the understanding of the energy of thought and the functioning of the mind, the taking of control of life experiences, the development of self-esteem and making the day A positive experience every day.

“Thoughts are like seeds. Kind and happy thoughts produce beautiful flowers and nutritious fruits; or the thoughts can be spiteful or depressive, generating painful brambles or poisonous herbs. We can be the masters of our life producing those 'fruits' that are healthy, attractive and nutritious and that provide us with the greatest happiness and satisfaction, ”adds the entity's proposal.

The series of meetings -which are offered free of charge- will begin on Saturday, January 17 from 10:00, at the AEMBK headquarters in Madrid and will run for three consecutive weekends.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, January 18 from 18:00, the entity will conduct a World Meditation for Peace, in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Prajapita Brahma, founder of AEMBK.

World meditation time began in 1978, as a way of bringing people together in a reflection for peace throughout the world. This practice has become popular and has expanded to more than 70 countries, with the participation of more than half a million individuals.

AEMBK represents in Spain the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (BKWSU), an NGO created in India in 1937. Its main objective is to work for a “positive change at all levels of society”.

The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University recognizes the intrinsic goodness of all human beings and teaches a practical method of meditation that helps people understand what their internal resources and values are.

In our country, the association has 18 locations where educational programs, courses, seminars and training are offered in the area of personal growth, positive thinking and meditation.
