It was in 2004 when I first heard about Reiki . I must confess that at the beginning, it seemed something for "weird". In the photos people appeared in white, and said they used the energy of their hands to heal themselves! where were we going to go now?
I was lucky that a co-worker insisted on me, and after much thought, I finally decided to take my first course. Since then my life changed, and little by little all the anger, the pains, the doubts, the lack of self-esteem, was giving way to a new way of seeing life, a new way of Being.
Reiki was so influential in my life that at the end of 2010, I decided to devote myself entirely to it. They were fantastic years, where I saw myself grow and develop, as I never imagined. Reiki brought to my life endless gifts, I began to meditate and ended up leading other people, in beautiful guided meditations. The curiosity was gaining ground and I made all the formations that I could, not only in Reiki types, but various methods of healing, growth, channeling, natural health, etc.
I created from scratch my own therapy center, Shambala Reiki Center, where I could share with all kinds of people, all the subjects that I was passionate about. I taught hundreds of students everything I learned about Reiki, as well as many of the techniques in which I specialized.
I have such beautiful memories of those years, that when compared to my beginnings in Reiki, I realize everything that a simple self-healing technique changed me.
I wrote for a season in a free magazine in the area where I lived, and that made me yearn to write more, to resume something I had fun when I was a child. And from there came this book, which I decided was free, in order to reach the greatest number of people, and thus return some of how much Reiki had brought to my life.
In this book I tried to synthesize in a simple language, which is Reiki and what has been my experience. Without going into personal details, I have sought to solve many of the usual doubts that usually arose in the courses I taught. It is not my intention that it be a manual, since Reiki requires adequate training, for its total development, and that is why I recommend that if you are interested, look for a suitable teacher in your city.
I will tell you that there has been so much change, that I was increasingly developing intuition and introspection. I also trained in Akashic Records and there came a time when life again told me: go ahead! And so it was, I followed the call of my soul, and decided to make the final leap, I crossed my dear center, to devote myself fully to the channeling of the messages of my spiritual Guides.
Currently I continue working with energy, but now Reiki I do it only as self-healing. I am a writer, feeling a deep peace and joy, dedicating myself to what I love.
There comes a time when Reiki allows you to stay healthy and balanced, and helps you get even further. Now I work a new energy, which instead of eliminating stagnant energy, removes the beliefs that block us, those that tell you: You can't! you must not!
Now I help people get rid of any ties,
that overcome their limitations, and find their potential,
taking it to the maximum level.
