In esoteric development, the principle "Everything must and must be tested" is considered a law that applies both to disciples, followers, organizations and others. The Theosophical Society could not be the exception, and unfortunately its leaders in Adyar failed when the test arose. The missionaries viewed the Theosophical Society with increasing suspicion, because it induced the Orientals to appreciate and understand their own sacred writings, thus preventing the spread of Christianity. What is the relationship in this with the neo-theosophy of Djwhal Khul? We enter into matter.

Djwhal Khul and neo-theosophy

Faced with these situations, the Mahatmas gradually distanced themselves from the Adyar Theosophical Society .

That was when the tricksters took advantage and seized it. The main responsible was Leadbeater, who had been a disciple with the approval of Mahatma Kuthumi, but who later failed flatly.

Leadbeater had some influence on who had taken the presidency of the Adyar Theosophical Society, Annie Besant.

He preferred to make people believe that he was a high-grade disciple who remained in contact with the Mahatmas. His cynicism reached such a degree that in his book "The Masters and the Path, " he narrates some supposed encounters with the Djwhal Khul Masters and even with Mr. Maitreya himself.

He gave many details and spoke extensively about them, their structure, the course of their discipleship and the initiation itself.

However, it is quite likely that he has invented most of it . For all true assumptions greatly contradict the concepts of Ascended Masters.

What is an Ascended Master?

The concept of Ascended Master first arose in 1930 thanks to the work of Guy Ballard (July 28, 1878 - December 29, 1939), a mining engineer and his wife Edna.

He and his wife wanted to establish contact with the Grand Masters, first with Master Saint Germain and later with Masters Mahatmas Kuthumi and Moria.

Finally, they wanted to see the entire Masters Lodge, where Djwhal Khul could not be missing, who was elevated to the rank of Ascended Master.

They founded the “I am” movement that had more than one million followers, but in the end some actions that this couple carried out were fraudulent.

The donations they received were so many and so bulky that they gradually became very rich. But the day came that the government itself accused them of tax fraud .

Nothing hindered, however, that Guy and Edna were elevated to the rank of Ascended Masters .

When Ballard visited Mount Shasta, California in 1930, he said he met a hiker who identified himself as the Count of St. Germain . Then the meetings re-emerged, and Ballard provided all the details in a series of books he published under the pseudonym of Godfré Ray King.

These books were "Unveiled Mysteries" and "The Magic Presence . "

Guy Ballard, his wife Edna, and later his son Edona Eros "Donald" Ballard (1918-1973), it is believed, became the "only Accredited Messengers" of Saint Germain. His teachings form the original core of what is now called Ascended Master Teachings.

"I Am" began and developed in the 1930s. This organization is described as apolitical, educational and spiritual and is funded by the contributions of its members. Ballard gave abundant lectures in the 30s, which spoke of the teachings of Saint Germain. In them, the United States was destined to play a key role.

Erroneous teachings of neo-theosophy

This teaching they give is a pseudo-teaching, because it is a mixture of lies and truths and many contradictions and deformations appear.

In practice the same alterations that Leadbeater and Alice Bailey had already written were resumed, and deformed them even more.

In this way they intended the Great Masters of Wisdom to become divine, infallible and omnipotent figures . Obviously living in unattainable heavenly regions and willing to fill with all unimaginable blessings of wealth, health and happiness to everyone who invoked them.

The true Masters repudiate the adoration towards themselves, because their purpose is to make us truly free and that we do not get chained to new dogmas.

Many are currently the movements that base their activities on the notion of the ascended master and it is possible to find many variations. There may be some of them really altruistic and benevolent, but they surely don't know that they are providing a pseudo-teaching.

Essence of the Master outside of neo-theosophy

A Teacher is the person who is more developed than others, from the point of view of his knowledge, his energy, consciousness and other potential.

Guide your development to some degree and allow you to learn from your own walk without influencing or passing the limits of your progress.

The Masters have different ranks of development . Kuthumi himself, had many disciples who had already been accepted, Djwhal Khul was one of his most advanced disciples.

Blvatsky was also an advanced disciple of Morya, now considered a Master.

These humans who are very advanced in wisdom are called Masters in Wisdom, Great Initiates or Great Adepts.

From time to time a High Grand Master emerges who will stand out from among Men and teach the path that leads to the Divine.

The Theophy teaches, since the fifth century AD it has been doing, at the end of each century what the Grand Lodge does: a particular effort to try to boost the spiritual progress of all Humanity . That is why it is interesting to run away from the precepts of neo-theosophy and its half truths.
