Third Hindu Law of Spirituality: Whatever the moment when something begins, it is the right time

"The two most powerful warriors are patience and time."

- Leon Tolstoy

As we grow, we realize that life is much more complex than we originally thought . We are no longer children, we must assume the consequence of our actions and deal with those of the acts of others. In addition, we find ourselves frustrated to discover that most of the events that unfold in our lives are totally beyond our control .

While the picture seems to be totally discouraging, it really isn't. We have grown up believing that we can decide the course of our lives, with the belief that we have the power to determine what happens and what doesn't. This is nothing more than a focus error .

While we have the ability to decide on our life, the action that corresponds to us is given within. Not about the events themselves, but in how we translate and interpret those events in our lives.

Each Hindu law of spirituality dictates a growth approach and guides us to understand what happens in our lives. On this occasion, the Hindu law of spirituality that we will see tells us about the new beginnings .

Third Hindu law of spirituality: Whatever the moment when something begins, it is the right time

Have you ever wanted a major change in your life but things didn't seem to happen? This is the case of the action of this third Hindu law of spirituality . When you look for work, or expect that great opportunity and the times of your plans do not adjust to the time of life, remember this law.

We cannot determine the times that life has for us. It is the Higher Will that governs everything that happens, and our duty is to accept it. Remember that everything happens when it must happen, neither before nor after, but when you are really prepared. We must learn to be patient, to fulfill that mission entrusted to us.

Currently, we live in a constant state of urgency, as if we were rushed all the time to achieve short-term results . However, the really important things in our life are not achieved immediately. Things like love, or the feeling of fullness, are the result of hard work and effort. You can't rush those things .

In the same way, there is another perspective of this Hindu law of spirituality to consider.

Forging new habits

How many times have you tried to forge a new habit and fall back on your old behaviors? Things like quitting smoking, being more organized or starting the diet are examples of the small frustrations that are destroying our confidence little by little throughout our lives.

It is not that you should stop trying until the time is right, but it is also necessary that you learn to be patient with yourself . Habits are also forged through perseverance, discipline and effort. Keep trying, forgive yourself if you fail and try again. Know where it is that is harder for you and prepare a plan to overcome that instance next time. Stay attached to your plan in the toughest moments of that process. Remember why you decided to cross this path .

Each Hindu law of spirituality guides us in different situations of our life, but in the same sense. What we are is the result of what we do to meet our goals, coupled with what we learn from those things we cannot control. Time is one of those things. Let things flow and let yourself flow with them. Meanwhile, observe the direction in which the Higher Will works and learn to move in the same direction.

Accept that things will happen only when they have to happen.

Learn to be patient.
