Have courage for Francisco de Sales

(And I do not mean irritation or anger, but the impetuous decision and effort of courage: courage)

In my opinion, living requires and demands courage.

The world and life have been organized in such a way that the option of living in a relaxed way has been reserved for a few daring people who manage to have things a little clear and renounce what society promotes as irrevocable.

The contemplative life, that life in which it seems that one is immunized against everything, that things do not especially affect him, that one does not fall into the vital vortex of the majority of mortals, seems reserved for teachers of yoga and for Tibetan monks.

The others, those of us who are not brave, or who are not intelligent, those of us who remain in the world and with their problems, must necessarily resort to courage - that essential decision and that will and that mood - to face the day, to launch purposes, to escape a bit of routine and laziness, not to let ourselves be overcome by despair, to take the next step because this has become difficult.

Life - the kind of life that almost all of us have assembled - implies tension, requires a strong constancy to survive, and a will that sometimes has to be superhuman, because everywhere there are claims, commitments, obligations, responsibilities, tripping, betrayals, disappointments, frustrations, projects that do not go out or go wrong, pain an excellent nest for reluctance, a sufficient reason to throw in the towel, and to give up and refuse to Take one more step. (There are also good times)

Many days, it is necessary, before getting out of bed, to take courage, because if it is not done there is no will or courage to face life. And I write refront being very aware that it is that word, and not another, that I want to use. Face: Face a danger, problem or compromised situation.

On many occasions it is necessary to lay hold of faith, desperately resort to hope, trust in the future, turn to the Gods, or search inside if there are crumbs of optimism, some bit of courage, or courage reserves.

Have courage

Find the courage wherever you are.

And look for boldness to spurs, some bravery, the necessary impetus, certain courage, a little bit of recklessness, some hint of boldness, capacity for resolution, an almost unbreakable decision, the impulse necessary to move forward, and much heart and much love own.

Somewhere we have all that, because all that comes as standard in the Human Being. They are essential tools that we bring (as the car brings the tools to change a wheel).

It's about being confident. In oneself.

Confidence not only in force ("God squeezes but does not drown, " it is said), that there is always one last impulse, something that avoids falling completely, but confidence that there is a way to go, an objective - although sometimes doubt him - something to follow and fight for; Confidence that something better is about to arrive and to be able to achieve it, we must continue to give courage to life, despite the hard times that arise, despite the continued appearances of discouragement, despite the oppressive feeling of abandonment and that the heart feels heartbroken at times.

On many occasions, and this is quite difficult to believe and accept, life puts us before an almost inevitable challenge, and it seems that it wants to show us that we are capable, that we can, even if it is hard; We have reservations of will, bravery, guts, and it is convenient to accept the challenge, from which we will be strengthened, and closer to our essence and our Being.

I leave you with your reflections ...
