The Madrid municipality Rivas Vaciamadrid programs from today and until the 28th the Sustainability Week, with tents, several forums, round tables, debates and exhibitions on energy and water savings, renewable energy and the challenges of a new economic and social model Less aggressive with the environment.
The week is part of the Rivasecópolis project of the Madrid municipality and the assembly of the Spanish Network of Cities for Climate will also be held, a network that promotes local policies against climate change.
The CSIC collaborates since last year with Rivasecópolis and participates in the Week with a science tent, several exhibitions and the City awareness forum . Climate change: an opportunity to change the development model . One of the speakers is the oceanographer Carlos Duarte.
