This is why animals generally accept Reiki treatments, which acts on them more quickly. Like humans, animals have vital experiences that can mark and / or traumatize them throughout their lives. In the case of pets, who live with humans, they also absorb all our emotions (good and bad), being affected by our moods and health. Understanding this, it is easy to understand that, physical problems apart, also suffer on an energetic and emotional level.
When we apply Reiki on our pet, we may notice that it is the animal itself that opens the Reiki channel, and then it is we who transfer the energy it needs. Each animal has its idiosyncrasy, which is why not everyone receives the same treatment:
Cats, mystical animals, are very aware of universal energy and, although they are not very happy to share it with humans, they will be the first to accept it if they need healing.
Dogs, on the other hand, are much more dedicated and enthusiastic, although they are completely healthy, they love receiving Reiki; They will even choose the most appropriate posture to address your problem at the beginning of the session.
Horses can quickly perceive whether their owners (or the person who treats them) are energy channels.
When we apply Reiki to an animal, any imbalance in its energy system will be healed. That is why they can also suffer a healing crisis, just as it happens to us. In the same way that a pain can increase in intensity during the treatment, to decrease in the end and soothe it.
Reiki is a very effective, non-invasive and simple healing system. Without stress for the animal, it will help you relax and balance. In HEALTHY animals, it helps maintain your health and raise your defenses. In SICK animals, it helps healing at all levels and is a complement that does not affect any other treatment (veterinary or natural). In all cases, Reiki also helps solve behavioral problems in the animal.
Always remember that Reiki is a COMPLEMENTARY healing system that does not replace the veterinarian or its conventional treatment.
