Reconnect us by Mer Vivar

For years I have not seen someone walking or jogging while listening to their thoughts and enjoying the landscape ... There are too many things to hear and so many artifacts that take us away from the encounter with oneself. Now the outings are to grind (visit mall) and go shopping ... but go for a walk for the enjoyment that means almost nobody does, almost everyone goes on a cell phone, with their iPhone, MP3, or MP4, or MP5, etc.

We live in such a hurry that we no longer stop even to enjoy meals. We are swallowing and thinking that we have to go back to work, or the children's tasks, or the friend's gift ... There is not even time to enjoy the fresh air that comes through the window or the smell of flowers when we pass, on the run, through the garden . Even cigarettes smoke in a hurry, to cover the nervousness and fill with something that anxiety that corrodes our soul ... We do not live the moment and every precious moment, instead of enjoying it, we lose it because we want to capture it in the photo machine.

All this is nothing more than an escape because we don't want to meet alone to hear our thoughts, or our feelings, or the voice of the soul . All distractions just keep us busy looking outside because looking inward makes us dread Why? Because hearing our cries connect us with who we really are and we are so lost ... we no longer remember when it was the last time we were alone with our BEING and we embraced it .

Generally it is in the sad moments when we are lost there in some corner, we meet again to hug and give each other protection. We make promises not to separate again and then, when everything returns to normal we lose the north again until life forces you again to have that intimate dialogue with yourself.

Life does not require you to live like a monk meditating all day in the stillness of nature, but we can give ourselves 30 minutes of silence every day to reconnect with the essence, greet us, give us a hug and know that We are here that we inhabit a wonderful planet and that it would be nice to live more connected with life, with the Earth, with its inhabitants and especially with our soul.
