CAPRICORN Full Moon Meditation - JANUARY 2018

January 2, 2018 (2200 local hours in each country)

The Capricorn Festival provides the theme and point of attention for our full moon meditation this month. It is said of Capricorn that it is one of the most difficult forces to understand because it is the most mysterious of the twelve signs. This may be because the true Capricorn can act on either of the two extremes of consciousness: that of the densest materialism or that of the enlightened perception of the initiate.

Capricorn offers a fairly complete picture of humanity with its feet on Earth and, however, running freely and climbing to the tops of worldly ambition or spiritual aspiration in b squeda of what is perceived as the main need. As a ram, it is the earthly human being, the greedy seeker of the satisfaction of desire, or the aspirant, the equally selfish seeker on the hunt for the satisfaction of his aspiration.

The most apt definition is that the human being is "an animal plus a living God in the physical form." The energy of Capricorn seems to represent, in its stimulation, these two aspects of the human constitution. Still focused on material nature is an ambitious animal, fighting for its own selfish interests, prepared to go as far as necessary to meet its needs and desires. Discipleship aspirants who are under this same influence are spurred and inspired by their ascension, leaving the depths of life controlled by the way to the light and glory of the mountaintop experience, or initiation.

How to meditate and send energy in the REC3?

1) Harmonization of breathing and relaxation : we will breathe deeply a minimum of three times, repeating mentally SO when we inhale and HAM when we exhale.

2) We must open the sacred space of meditation and irradiation for REC3, for this we will light a candle and incense and then recite “The Great Invocation of Master Djwhal Khul”.

3) We will invoke the Ascended Masters that we propose below to protect and guide us during meditation and energy service.

4) In order to focus on the energy that we will radiate during meditation we recommend visualizing the colors, symbols and energies proposed below. We will offer all the energy to the Masters to send it through the REC3 where necessary.

5) While we meditate, we will listen to the “Individual Balance Meditation” audio and follow the rhythm in which the mantrams are sung: 10 OHMs + 24 GAYATRI + silences

The Great Invocation, by Master Djwhal Khul

The Great Invocation is a world prayer translated over 75 languages and dialects. It is an instrument of power to help the full expression of God's Plan on Earth. The beauty and strength of this Invocation resides in its simplicity and in that it expresses certain essential truths, which all men accept innate and normally. You can find out more information about the Great Invocation on the next page, click here.

From the point of Light in the Mind of God,
Let light flow to the minds of men;
May the Light descend to Earth.
From the point of Love in the Heart of God,
May love flow to the hearts of men;
May Christ return to Earth.
From the center where the Will of God is known,
That the purpose guides the small wills of men;
The purpose that the Masters know and serve.
From the center we call the race of men,
May the Plan of Love and Light be realized,
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
May the Light, Love and Power
Restore the Plan on Earth.
From Master Djwhal Khul or Tibetan Master.

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CAPRICORN FESTIVAL

Keynote: “I am lost in the supreme light and I turn my back on that light.

Capricorn offers a fairly complete picture of humanity with its feet on Earth and, however, running freely and climbing to the tops of worldly ambition or spiritual aspiration in search of what is perceived as the main need. As a ram, it is the earthly human being, the greedy seeker of desire satisfaction, or the aspirant, the equally selfish seeker hunting for the satisfaction of his aspiration.

Therefore, depending on where an individual is on the path of evolution, Capricorn will stimulate everything that is material, or centered on form, or everything that is spiritual. In Capricorn we are facing the triumph of matter, which reaches its most concrete and dense expression; but this triumph is followed by that of the spirit. In Capricorn there is the full expression of earthly nature, but there are also immense spiritual possibilities.

Capricorn is a sign of conclusion since it represents the depths of degradation or crystallization and the tops of spiritual achievement: the two poles of all human experience. It is also the sign of new beginnings, since each end is only the conclusion of a phase or cycle, and each achievement is a step towards growth.

Capricorn inaugurates a new cycle of effort. The current situation in the world indicates that humanity is in that state of agitation prior to making a decisive advance in the development of self-consciousness. The next step involves the expression of the sense of responsibility, which is the first flower and fruit of self-conscious perception, a first indication that the soul is making its presence felt. The current conflict is due to the confrontation between spiritual growth, at all levels of human perception, and the resistance of the unrepentant forces of personality and the battle that is taking place between the forces of materialism entrenched in the human form and the forces of the Light working through the spiritual Hierarchy of Light and Love. This is similar to the final battle in the individual between the personality, the Dweller in the Threshold, and the soul, the Angel of the Presence.

Capricorn keeps the secret of the soul, the secret of hidden glory, revealed to the disciple at the climax of the third initiation, the transfiguration of the personality by the soul on the top of the mountain. But this revelation can only take place as a result of the effort, of the ability to rise above the limitations of personality, to persist on the path of ascension despite obstacles and difficulties. There is no easy way for individuals to free themselves from their own limitations of selfishness and separativity; and there are no shortcuts. It is a long, painful process in which we learn, eventually, through personal experience, that self-discipline and self-control and self-sacrifice form the fundamental stones of discipleship.

On these foundations the superstructure of a loving and responsible way of life can be developed, which reflects the values of the soul. This growth of consciousness becomes the path of initiation, the path to the top of the mountain, to that supreme light that reveals the soul as the true Being, the Plan as the responsibility of discipleship and the spiritual Hierarchy of the planet as the center of love where, through initiation, the accepted disciple is admitted.

Capricorn is, therefore, the leading sign of initiation. According to ancient myths and legends, every sun god is born in this sign. (A sun-god is one whose task is to reveal some aspect of the soul principle: love, light and cosmic will.) The summit of purely human experience, the third initiation of Transfiguration No, it is ruled by Capricorn. In it the soul reveals its beauty, truth and goodness in the conscience of the disciple, confirming its achievement and establishing the way ahead. Martin Luther King spoke of having been at the top of the mountain and having contemplated the "promised land." He referred to the promise that the soul extends to all human life. Overcoming personal limitations and barriers imposed by circumstances are only possible in the light of a higher and more inclusive state of consciousness.

For all disciples, the path to the third initiation, included, is the path of service among the children of men, still suffering on the planes and valleys of the human experience The initiates leave behind the experience at the top of the mountain, turn their faces towards the service field and focus all their attention and energies on satisfying the need of the human kingdom.

The keynote of the disciple in Capricorn is eloquent about this whole experience: I am lost in the supreme light and I turn my back on that light. Or, in the words of the keynote of our full moon meditation work, the disciple turns on the pedestal of light and turns in the opposite direction. He turns his face towards darkness and, then, the seven points of light within himself transmit the light that radiates outward and, behold, the faces of those who tread the dark path receive that light. For them, the road is no longer dark. Behind the warriors, between the light and the darkness, the Light of the Hierarchy shines.

Let's gather these inspiring thoughts in our meditative consciences as we try to cooperate with the service opportunity provided by this Capricorn Festival, concluding with the Great Invocation
