What is oligotherapy?

  • 2018

Oligotherapy is a natural therapy that uses micronutrients in very small doses to restore the body's balance and restore health. For this, minerals or trace elements are used, which are fundamental for the functioning of the human body.

This is a therapy that does not produce side effects and that can be used to treat a diverse range of diseases safely, even in children, the elderly and people with health problems.

Oligotherapy and trace elements

Trace elements are essential chemical elements that fulfill structural or regulatory functions in the organism, and control biological processes fundamental to life and health.

This need of the body cannot be satisfied by a poor diet, and even a balanced diet could be insufficient given the use of artificial fertilizers in crops.

Oligotherapy aims to compensate for these deficits in food, providing the body with these nutrients in appropriate amounts to balance the metabolism and promote health.

Types of trace elements

There are two types of trace elements . The basic ones, also called diathetic, and the complementary or symptomatic ones. The basic trace elements are involved at the root level and the complementary ones treat the symptoms of the diseases.

Basic trace elements

Manganese (Hyperreactive Diathesis)

Manganese (Mn) fulfills a double structural and enzymatic function. It is used when it is necessary to rebalance the body, as in the case of migraines, allergies or conjunctivitis.

Selenium + Manganese-Copper (Anergic Diathesis)

Selenium (Se) + Manganese-Copper (Mn-Cu) is administered when organic functions are insufficient and there is no adequate response from the body's compensation systems. For example, cancer, arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.

Manganese-Copper (Hyporeactive Diathesis)

Manganese-Copper (Mn-Cu) is used when there are deficiencies in the body's compensation systems. It is the case of bronchitis, sinusitis or chronic infections.

Manganese-Cobalt (Dystonic Diathesis)

Manganese-Cobalt (Mn-Co) is applied in the treatment of organic deficiencies, when the body's compensation systems work anarchically. Such is the case of insomnia, palpitations or anxiety.

Deadaptation or neuroendocrine diathesis

There are two types of maladaptive diathesis that are used when there is a hormonal or endocrine disorder, as well as a maladaptive response of the organism. These are Zinc-Copper and Chrome.

Zinc-Copper (Zn-Cu) fulfills its function in the pituitary-genital axis (menstrual problems, impotence, genital delays) and Chromium (Cr) works in the pancreatic axis and exerts its function by balancing the metabolism of sugars (diabetes, cholesterol, obesity).

Complementary trace elements

Copper (Cu)

It is anti-infective and anti-inflammatory . Stimulates the immune system.

Fluorine (F)

It helps strengthen bones, tendons, ligaments and teeth .

Iodine (I)

It is essential for the synthesis of thyroid hormones and helps maintain the immune system.

Magnesium (Mg)

It balances the neuro-muscular system and supports ATP processing.

Phosphorus (P)

It is a component of bones, works as an antispasmodic and is part of the processes of obtaining energy.

Potassium (K)

It is a systemic electrolyte that balances the cellular alteration of the sodium and potassium pump .

Sulfur (S)

It fulfills the function of purifying the organism through the liver .

Zinc (Zn)

Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cell regenerator . It promotes immune function and is involved in the metabolism of proteins and nucleic acids.

Oligotherapy is an unconventional therapy that is part of the group of vibrational elements. It is a system linked to the study of "human lands", which refers to disease trends, behavioral, preponderance of a type of embryonic tissue, eating behaviors, etc.

It is therefore essential, before applying oligotherapy to treat any medical condition or disease, to carry out an exhaustive study of the patient to identify their terrain. Only in this way can the exact dose of trace elements that the body needs to restore its balance be supplied.
