First Hindu Law of Spirituality: "The person who appears in your life is the right person"

He who is unable to forgive is unable to love.

Martin Luther King

They have lied to us. They told us that life was beautiful, that permanent happiness could be achieved, that everyone got what they deserved. We believed that we could live enjoying everything that was done for us, and that we would end our days thanking for everything we received throughout our lives.

Every Hindu law of spirituality helps us because reality is far from these premises. Life is complex because people are complex. We don't always get what we deserve, much less what we want. We suffer, we hate, we get tired, we lose and we give ourselves the head with the wall multiple times. Welcome to the real world: life is not easy .

We do not have control over events, people, or our thoughts. Everything happens beyond our will, using a Higher Principle .

However, that does not mean that we cannot find meaning in our lives . One that has to do with contemplate, learn and evolve.

Of the guides that have left ancient cultures on this subject, the four Hindu laws of spirituality is one of the clearest. We will then make a series of 4 short articles dealing with each one of them, to understand the message behind these premises.

First Hindu law of spirituality: "The person who appears in your life is the right person"

The first Hindu law of spirituality invites us to accept that no one crosses our path by chance, but that we can learn something from each encounter.

Now, it is very easy to predispose to learning when you meet a person who brightens your day, gives you advice, helps you or gives you a smile. It is not of those people who speak to us this law .

The first Hindu law of spirituality refers to another type of encounter. The one that leaves you on your knees, that hurts you, that makes you angry or marks you forever . True learning has to do with difficult things. That person who hurt you, stole, used, also appeared in your life for a reason .

Not bad luck

In fact, we have invented the concept of " bad luck " so as not to bear the responsibility of understanding each event as a blessing, an opportunity for growth . It is easier to blame our unhappiness outside of us .

We live in constant interaction with our environment, and we are part of a much larger organism. Each person plays a role in the story, and you can contemplate and learn it. We cannot control the actions or thoughts of others, as much as they cannot control ours. However, we can find a position in which we can coexist. Learn to detach yourself from your emotions, from your material goods. And above all things, of people.

Life goes by quickly, and we don't have time to accumulate stagnant energies. Accept the first Hindu law of spirituality. Be humble, learn from everyone. Learn to cry when you have to cry, learn to forgive, and learn to desire good. Another person will come and make you suffer again, by then it is better that you have already learned to move on .

From pain you learn

Look for that learning that comes hand in hand with pain, the teaching of that Higher Principle. Only then can you continue to live one day at a time, learn not to close yourself to other people.

Life is not easy, but it is simple . Forgive the meetings that happen to you in luck, learn from all the people who cross your life, appreciate the opportunity for growth that allows you.

People are complex, we can never know for sure what leads others to act in a certain way. But we can choose how we will let that affect us .

Let it go.
