Full Moon of Pisces 2010
"Neptune, the Power of Absorption"

Introduction: Pisces is the sign that synthesizes the closing of the cycle of the year. It symbolizes the end of a long journey where the soul attains universal consciousness. Neptune is the superior ruler of Pisces, and through his influence, the lower mind is absorbed against the background of the soul and loses itself in the group consciousness. Neptune is the magical-energy energy that absorbs us in the depth of pure experience where only the I AM remains. That is why the theme of this month's Lunar Messenger is "Neptune, the Power of Absorption."

Deep Experience

The astrology of the teachings of wisdom says that there are 72 planets in our solar system, most of which, however, are not in the realm of visibility. Vedic scriptures contain mantras for 33 planets in our solar system. The wisdom of the Orient knew for a long time, under other names, the three planets discovered by science in modern times, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. These planets are not only part of our solar system, but also of other systems. They bring additional energy from these systems to the realization of our solar system. They are planets that work primarily through groups and have few effects on the physical body.

Basically there are the seven planetary principles that are in contact with us. The remaining planets are working through these planets. Thus Neptune is acting primarily through the Moon and Venus. Esoterically speaking, Neptune does not belong to the planets. He forms the center of a hierarchy that instructs five solar systems through the group contact to which our solar system also belongs. It is like a five-pointed star through which our system is guided through Neptune. Just as Venus represents the soul for Earth, Neptune is the soul of our Sun. Its superior correspondence is Vena, the Gandharva, the cosmic soul of our universe.

The rays of Neptune are received by the beings of the earth mainly through our satellite the Moon. This is why HP Blavatsky said that the Moon works as a veil for the uninitiated man. In Vedic terminology, our satellite, the Moon, is called Chandra and the upper Moon, Neptune or Soma. Chandra rules over the individual mind with its ups and downs of moods, like the rising and falling phases of the Moon. Soma or Neptune governs the cosmic mind that in us is the plane of cosmic consciousness or pure experience. With the practice of yoga, it is revealed in us as the experience of bliss. Neptune grants a magical joy and effect. It is a magnetic-mystical energy that gives us an experience so deep that it totally absorbs us in it. We forget ourselves and our surroundings totally for some time, where only I AM exists. This absorption that we also experience through love or with good music is called divine blessing, and even the wise yearn for such an experience.

Neptune music

Neptune can attract, unite and elevate the body, mind, senses and soul to higher planes, all together and suddenly, even without our being aware of it. Neptune is the lord of the music of the spheres and belongs to the musical hierarchy that deals with sound waves and their arrangement in the supra-cosmic plane.

The magnetic force lines of the earth are caused by Neptune's musical vibrations and transmitted to us through the Moon. This is the deepest meaning of the full moon meditations in which we can become aware of the magnetic-musical lines of force that receive their vibration from Neptune. Life as music and divine dance is the superior state, and the musician and divine artist among yogis is Krishna. He was the first manifestation of Neptune energies on Earth. His flute music is the transmission of the musical world of Neptune. When Krishna played music, the birds, animals and human beings became absorbed in the existence of one and came to such a state of bliss that they forgot the place and time. Neptune's music takes us immediately beyond the mental and buddhic planes, to the soul plane. The music of the harp of Apollo also represents such music of Neptune.

Printing and Union

With a good appearance between the Moon and Neptune in the horoscope, the senses can be easily subdued, the mind is absorbed and an appropriate guru makes the light of the soul bright. The vision of the soul is better and clearer, the hidden side of things is revealed without the game of our understanding. The art of printing is from Neptune. Spiritual training through sleep and receiving education through printing becomes easy. With the influence of Neptune, the invisible planes become visible and we can easily feel the presence of beings from the most subtle world or develop inspiring writing. But anyway, we still cannot develop anything without the pure help of a stronger soul.

Neptune guides the man who is on the path of devotion or Bhakti yoga, to higher initiations. It is not the path of knowledge but of fusion. With the music of sound and the musical sense of the mind, a teacher can break the barriers in the disciple, so that he can notice the cosmic planes of consciousness.

But this is a very dangerous path without an appropriate link to a capable teacher. This can take the disciple to subconscious levels where the mind is lost, mediumship is exalted and the associations of his last karmas lead him to indulgence. Music can not only raise us to sublime levels but it can also stimulate sexual desire or lower thoughts and even cause destructive effects. A distressed Neptune in the horoscope shows the karmic consequences of wrong actions that can be expressed in the form of mediumship of the spirit, psychic abnormalities, the path of black magic, indulgence in narcotics or alcohol, as well as sexual abnormalities.

To allow Neptune to grant its blessed experiences easily, Uranus training helps clear the debris and pave the way for Neptune's experience. While Neptune relates to the arts such as music, dance, painting, poetry and drama, Uranus is the scientist who eliminates confusing mysticism and replaces belief with knowledge also in spirituality. Science will eventually lead to art and its related joy.

Indra, the Heavenly King

In the East, Neptune, in one aspect, is called Indra, the Heavenly King and the protector of creation. Indra's abode in us is located around the Ajna center, between the pineal gland and the pituitary body. Between the two glands, Neptune and Uranus together create the light of the higher mind. This shines like a luminous fabric that is also called the upper bridge or the light of the Gods. This finds its realization in the flowering of a lotus near the Ajna center.

Indra's function is to expand our soul consciousness so that the lower consciousness of the personality unites with the higher consciousness and the souls are within the group consciousness, through the musical vibrations of Neptune . There are certain initiates who have reached elevated states of consciousness through music and when they sing they give expression to the soul and elevate others to the soul consciousness.

Maitreya

The head of the musical hierarchy on our planet is Mr. Maitreya, as well as the Master of the World. On the planetary plane, he represents the energy of Indra or Neptune called Mitra in the supra-cosmic plane, and Vasishta in the next plane. When Krishna left the planet, he initiated Maitreya into the secret of Neptune's music. Neptune is the fundamental principle with which Maitreya works and he cannot function in man without the grace of Maitreya. This grace can be granted when the Moon of birth or the ascendant is in harmony with Neptune's transit, especially in a sextile aspect. This stimulates the musical consciousness in us and the capacity for deep meditative receptivity. The mantra for Neptune is Ain Drim; its color is aquamarine, the color of the deep and silent ocean.

On the ascent path we have to work first with Venus before we can approach Neptune. When Venus and Neptune do good aspects, we can experience pure love in the dynamic dimension that higher souls hold, such as Lord Maitreya. Aligning with Maitreya helps us in this.
