Spiritual transfer is one of the names given by the Masters to the basic mystery of initiation. Christ Himself initiated the spiritual "transfer". Very often he acted through other men, reaching humanity through His twelve Apostles, considering Paul as the substitute for Judas Iscariot. Christ sent his apostles around the world to seek, guide and feed the sheep and to become "fishers of men." The relationship of the disciples of Christ was first, with a demanding world and, second, with the Master: such an attitude still prevails in the Hierarchy, but with no less devotion to the Christ. The apostles learned from Jesus about the kingdom of heaven, and Jesus learned a lot from them about the kingdom of men, about the way human nature lives on planet Earth and on the other evolutionary worlds of time and space. These twelve men represented many different types of human temperaments, and the instruction received had not made them similar . Many of these Galilean fishermen had a strong proportion of Gentile blood as a result of the forced conversion of the non-Jewish population of Galilee a hundred years earlier. The Christ who guided the twelve disciples symbolizes the zodiac, and the apostles represent the signs through which the sun must pass: The Knights of the Zodiac.

1. THE SELECTION

The first four apostles were already known by Jesus, Philip and Bartholomew later joined the group.

Andrew

The president of the apostolic body of the kingdom was born in Capernaum. He was the eldest son of a family of five: himself, his brother Simon and three sisters. His father, now deceased, had been a Zebedeo partner in a fish drying business in Bethsaida, the fishing port of Capernaum. When he became an apostle, Andrew was single but lived in the house of his married brother, Simon Pedro. When he was chosen as an apostle in the year 26, Andrew was 33 years old, an entire year older than Jesus, and was the greatest of the apostles. He came from an excellent line of ancestors and was the most capable of the twelve. With the exception of oratory, he was equal to his companions in almost every conceivable ability.

Physical : Height: 1.60 meters. Thinner than Peter, his brother, but also strong and robust. Small head, fine and abundant hair. Blue eyes. Face set. Always well shaved.

Personality : Clara Visi n. Successful in their Trials. Very stable. Great serenity Temperate nerves Pretty incredulous and pragmatic. He mistrusts everyone, especially his brother Simon Peter. In general serious and distant. Silent and shy. Introvert. It always appears as worried. Good reflexes and fast in your decisions. Great worker, he has achieved everything with his effort. Main defect: lack of enthusiasm. He doesn't like to praise anyone. He hates lies and flattery. It is hard for him to recognize the foreign merits. Admire Jesus for his sincerity and his great dignity.

Occupation : fisherman and partner of Santiago and Juan, the sons of Zebedee.

Sign : Virgo

Simon Peter

He was thirty years old when he joined the apostles. He was married, had three children and lived in Bethsaida, near Capernaum. His brother André and his wife's mother lived with him. Both Pedro and Andr s were associated in fishing with the sons of Zebedee. The Master had known Simon for some time, before Andrì s presented him as a second apostle. When Jesus gave Simon the name of Peter, he did it with a smile; It was going to be a kind of nickname. Sim n was well known among all his friends as an unpredictable and impulsive guy. It is true that, later, Jesus granted a new and significant importance to this nickname given lightly.

Physical : Technical type. Height: 1.60 meters, blue eyes. Round head. Thick neck. Face riddled with wrinkles. Wide face, soft round like a shield. Wide forehead. Bald with some hair in the temporal regions. White beard, always badly shaved. Shaved Mustache It is not very obese but has fat in the abdomen and on the sides. Shoulders and muscular arms. Small and calloused hands. Red and sensual lips. Strong voice, very characteristic. Strong snoring

Temperament : cyclothymic, with large oscillations in character.

Personality : Impulsive, an optimist. He had grown up allowing himself to freely express his strong feelings; He constantly got into trouble because he persisted in talking without thinking. This kind of stunning also caused incessant problems to all his friends and associates, and was the cause of the many soft reprimands he received from his Master. The only reason that prevented Pedro from getting into more trouble because of his thoughtless words was that he learned very soon to tell his brother Andres many of his plans and projects, before venturing to propose them in public. Peter was an unfolded speaker, eloquent and theatrical. He was also a born and inspiring male driver, a quick thinker but not a deep reasoner. He asked many questions, more than all the apostles together, and although most of them were good and pertinent, many were thoughtless and silly. Peter didn't have a deep mind, but he knew his mind quite well. Therefore, he was a man of quick decision and action

Occupation : Fisherman. Partner of the Zebedee brothers.

Clothing : careless. Usually armed.

Sign : Pisces.

Santiago Zebedee

The eldest of the two apostles sons of Zebedee, whom Jesus nicknamed "the sons of thunder, " was thirty years old when he became an apostle. He was married, had four children and lived near his parents in Bethsaida, on the outskirts of Capernaum. James and his brother Juan enjoyed the advantage of having met Jesus long before all the other apostles. Contradictory temperament; He seemed to really possess two natures, both activated by strong feelings.

Personality : He was particularly vehement when all his indignation woke up. He had a furious genius when he was sufficiently provoked, and when the storm passed, he always had the habit of justifying and excusing his anger on the pretext that it was only a manifestation of just indignation. Apart from these periodic outbursts of anger, Santiago's personality closely resembled Andres's. He did not possess Andres's discretion or insight to penetrate human nature, but he spoke in public much better than him. After Pedro, or perhaps Mateo, Santiago was the best public speaker of the twelve. Although Santiago was not in any way volatile, one day he could be quiet and taciturn, and the next day very talkative and narrator. He usually spoke openly with Jesus, but he was, of the twelve, the one who remained silent for days at a time. These periods of inexplicable silence constituted his great weakness. Rational, practical, cold and calculating. Quick thinking. Enjoy the quality of seeing all the faces of the same problem. Tolerant if not provoked. Understand and admit everyone. It is very sensible. It does not show hurry. Is brave. Admire Jesus for his compassion.

Occupation : fisherman, and exercised his profession in the company of his younger brother Juan, and in association with Andrés and Simón.

Clothing : always careful. Armed when traveling.

Sign : Taurus.

Juan Zebedee

When John became an apostle, he was twenty-four years old and the youngest of the twelve. He was single and lived with his parents in Bethsaida; Before and after becoming an apostle, John served as a personal representative of Jesus in relations with the Master's family, and continued to carry this responsibility while Mary, the mother of Jesus, lived. Since John was the youngest of the twelve, and was so closely attached to Jesus for his family's affairs, he was very dear to the Master. Juan Zebedeo had a character with many pleasant features, but one that was not so pleasant was his excessive vanity, although usually well concealed. His prolonged association with Jesus produced many great changes in his character. His vanity diminished considerably, but when he aged and became a little childish, this self-esteem reappeared to some extent, so that, when he was busy guiding Nathan in the writing of the gospel that now bears his name, the old apostle He did not hesitate to often refer to himself as the "disciple Jesus loved." In view of the fact that John almost became, more than any other earthly mortal, the comrade of Jesus, that he was his personal representative chosen for so many matters, it is not surprising that he came to be considered the “disciple that Jesus loved ”, Because he knew perfectly well that he was the disciple whom Jesus trusted very often. The most outstanding feature of Juan's character was his formality; He was punctual and brave, faithful and delivered. His greatest weakness was his characteristic vanity. He was the youngest member of his father's family and the youngest of the apostolic group. Maybe I was a little spoiled; perhaps he had been spoiled slightly too much. Admire the love and altruism of Jesus. He is impressed by the Master's confidence in his Father.

Occupation : Fisherman and worked with his brother Santiago in association with Andrés and Pedro.

Clothing : very careful. Armed.

Sign : Scorpio.

Philip the Curious

He was the fifth apostle to be chosen, having been called when Jesus and his first four apostles were heading from the meeting place of John in the Jordan to Cana of Galilee. As he lived in Bethsaida, Philip had heard about Jesus for some time, but it had not occurred to him that he was really a great man until that day, in the Jordan Valley, when Jesus said to him: "Follow me." Philip also felt a little influenced by the fact that Andrew, Peter, James and John had accepted Jesus as the Liberator. Philip was twenty-seven when he joined the apostles; He had been married recently, but he had no children at the time. The nickname the apostles gave him meant "curiosity." Felipe always wanted to be shown. He never seemed to see far in any matter.

Physical : Height: 1.70 meters. Bald. He tended to gain weight. Thick belly. Green eyes. Typically Jewish nose. Problems with the denture. Myopic.

Personality : He was not necessarily clumsy, but lacked imagination. This lack of imagination was the great weakness of his character. He was an ordinary and vulgar person. Its most prominent feature was its methodical thoroughness; He was mathematical and systematic at the same time. Felipe was the second in a family of seven brothers, three boys and four girls. After the resurrection, he baptized his entire family to enter the kingdom. Felipe's family members were fishermen. His father was a very skilled man, a deep thinker, but his mother came from a very mediocre family. Felipe was not a man who could be expected to do great things, but he could do small things in a big way, do them well and in an acceptable way. Very rarely, in four years, it ceased to have provisions at hand to meet everyone's needs. Even the numerous emergency situations that arose because of the life they led, rarely caught him off guard. The department of the apostolic family's administration was managed with intelligence and efficiency. Felipe's strong point was his methodical formality; the weak point of his way of being was his almost total lack of imagination, the lack of ability to gather two and two and get four. He was mathematical in the abstract, but not constructive in his imagination. He almost completely lacked a certain kind of imagination. He was the typical average man on the street. There were a large number of men and women of this class among the crowds who came to hear the teachings and preaching of Jesus, and obtained great comfort by observing that one like them had been elevated to a position of honor on the advice of the Master; they were encouraged by the fact that someone like them already occupied a high position in the affairs of the kingdom. And Jesus learned a lot about how some human minds work while he listened so patiently to the silly questions of Philip, and he condescended so many times with his administrator's request to "show him". The main quality that Philip admired continuously in Jesus was the inexhaustible generosity of the Master. Philip could never find in Jesus something that was small, mean or greedy, and revered this permanent and inexhaustible giving.

2. THE ORDINATION

On January 12 of the year 27 the disciples could begin to be considered as the representatives of the Son of Man on Earth. Before the ordination Jesus spoke to the twelve who were around him. The time has come ... I wish to proclaim to you my ambassadors ... My brothers ... the hour of the kingdom has come ... I have brought you here so you can feel the presence of Abba up close ... From today you will be different ... I want you to proclaim my message faithfully ... Jesus told the twelve mortals who had just heard his statement about the kingdom, to kneel in a circle around him. Then, the Master put his hands on the head of each apostle, beginning with Judas Iscariot and ending with Andrew. When you return dear Judas, your dignity will be restored ... When you return dear Tomás, you will be the prophet ... When you return dear Jacobo, you will be ... When you return dear Judas, you will knot the pacts ... When you return, dear Simon, nothing will remain hidden ... When you return, dear Matthew, the world will be of the Father ... When I return, dear Bartholomew, the valuable will float with the naked eye ... When I return, dear Felipe, I will have won forever ... When I return, dear Santiago ... When I return, dear Juan the world will be anchored in the Light .. When I return, dear Pedro, you will precede me. When I return, dear Andres, there will be no words, no explanations. When I return, dear Messenger (I propose that each reader appropriate this order), the night will retreat and I will be revered as the Divine. Now, my friends, you are no longer like the others ... Now you are ambassadors of an invisible and winged kingdom ... You must behave as such ... You are like those wonderful beings who know that they know the glory of the Father, and yet they renounce it, and come to help of the creatures of time and space ... Some of the things that I am about to reveal you will seem hard ... It is the law of the new kingdom: nothing is achieved by sleeping ... Soon I will send you to remove the blindfold from the eyes of the world ... Listen to my message: Fear out! ... He who does the will of the Father will never walk in darkness again. When you find my children afflicted, speak with encouragement and tell them: Blessed are those who know how to read the rainbow, because they are on the road ... The Master began this important speech by calling attention to four attitudes of faith, as a prelude to the description below. of his four transcendental and supreme reactions of paternal love, in contrast to the limitations of simple fraternal love. Then, Jesus continued to instruct his disciples on how to achieve the main objective of all human struggles - perfection - and even divine achievement. He always recommended: “Be perfect as your Father who is in heaven is perfect. It may be noted that the beatitudes of the Sermon on the Mount are based on faith and love, and not on the law - on ethics and duty.

3. THE CONSECRATION

Jesus dedicated the Sabbath following his apostles, returning to the highlands where he had ordained them. There, after a long personal message of encouragement, beautifully moving, he undertook the solemn act of the consecration of the twelve. That Saturday afternoon, Jesus gathered the apostles around him, on the hillside, and placed them in the hands of his heavenly Father as preparation for the day. He would be forced to leave them alone in the world. Jesus addressed each of the apostles and while placing his hands on his head, he repeated the following formula of consecration to the will of the Father: Father , receive me! I consecrate myself now and forever. Father, receive me! I consecrate my will to yours, even if I don't understand. Father, receive me! I know you inhabit me. I kneel and proclaim your beautiful (merged beauty and intelligence) Take me by the hand

4. THE COMMUNION

They were gathered to celebrate Passover, an institution dating back even from a period before Moses and referring to the time when their ancestors were slaves in Egypt. Old Easter commemorated the departure of their parents from a state of racial slavery to another of individual freedom; now, the Master instituted a new commemorative supper as a symbol of the new dispensation in which the enslaved individual emerges from the captivity of ceremonialism and selfishness, and passes to the Spiritual joy of fraternity and the community of children by faith, released, belonging to the living God. In instituting this dinner of remembrance, the Master resorted, as always to custom, to the parables and symbols. From the upper room to which the man of the centaro, who typifies Aquarius, led the disciples, and in which the first communion service was performed. Jesus gives a new commandment there: What do you love one another as I have loved you. The Master addressed some words to each of the disciples.

Juan, you started with us with a strong and intolerant mind. But you have changed a lot since you begged me to bring fire from heaven against the ignorant and thoughtless nonbelievers. And you still have to change more. You have to become the apostle of the new commandment that I have given you tonight. Dedicate your life to teaching your brothers to love each other as I have loved you. Learn to love your brothers more, 'Jesus replied simply. - when you learn to love your Father from heaven first and when you become truly interested in the well-being of all of them .., in time and in eternity. And all this human interest is favored with generous service, with understanding, with sympathy and with unlimited forgiveness. No man will despise your youth. But I urge you to always give due consideration to the fact that old age normally represents experience. And nothing in the affairs of man can replace the authentic experience. Strive to live peacefully with all men. Especially with your friends in the brotherhood of the celestial kingdom. And always remember, Juan: don't fight with the souls that could win the kingdom.

SimÃn dedicates your life, to show how acceptably mortal man can fulfill my precept concerning the simultaneous recognition of temporal duty to civil powers and spiritual service in the brotherhood of the kingdom. If you are taught by the Spirit of Truth, there will never be a conflict between the obligations imposed by the citizens of the Earth and those of being children of heaven.

Leví, I loved you as I loved these other Galileans. Knowing very well then that neither the Father nor the Son takes people into account, see not making those distinctions between those who become believers in the gospel through your ministry. And so, Matthew, dedicate your entire life of future service to show men that God does not take into account the position of people. That, in the sight of the Father in the brotherhood of the kingdom, all humans are equal, all are children of God. ”

Santiago, when the new teacher comes, let me show you the balance of compassion and that kind tolerance that comes from the sublime trust in me and in perfect submission to the Father's will. Dedicate your life to show human affection and divine dignity combined. And all who live like this will reveal the gospel, even in the form of their death.

Andrés, dedicate the rest of your life to promoting the practical aspects of fraternal love. Be kind to my brothers in the flesh. He expresses a loving and impartial devotion to the Greeks of the west and Abner, of the east. Although these, my apostles, will soon be scattered throughout the four corners of the Earth to proclaim the good news of salvation, you must hold them together during the coming test time. At that time you must learn to believe in this gospel without my personal presence. And so, Andrés, although the great tasks that men see do not fall on you, be content to be the teacher and advisor of those who do them.

Alpheus Twins, Dedicate your life to magnify the trivial tasks. Show all men and angels how cheerful and brave the mortal man can become. And after your time in the service of God, return to the labors of days gone by. If, for the moment, you see your work completed in the foreign affairs of the kingdom, return to the daily tasks. And do it with the new light of the experience of knowing you children of God. To you, who have worked with me, everything has become sacred. All earthly labor has become a service to God the Father.

Nathanael, you have learned to live above prejudices and practice increasing tolerance, since you became my apostle. But there is still much to learn. You have been a blessing to your companions, always admonished with your sincerity. You must learn that even the expression of a good thought has to be modulated according to the intellectual level and spiritual development of the listener. Sincerity is most useful in the tasks of the kingdom when it marries discretion.

Thomas You have often lacked faith. However, despite those moments of doubt, you have never lacked courage. Dedicate your life to the great work of showing how the material critical mind can triumph over the inertia of intellectual doubt, when faced with the demonstration of the manifestation of living truth.

Pedro, Your years of such a strong association with me have not helped you enough to think before speaking… How many problems you have given us for your thoughtlessness and for your presumptuous confidence in yourself! And you are destined to create many more if you do not master that weakness. You know that, despite that defect, your brothers love you. And you must also understand that this weakness in no way diminishes my affection for you. But you detract from efficiency and multiply your problems ...

5. THE CONFIRMATION

Juan ¿me amas?

Debes estar siempre vigilante. ¡Vela y reza! Si me amas verdaderamente ¡Alimenta mis ovejas!…

¡No te faltaré!

No temas nunca.

Tomás, si quieres servirme, sirve a tus hermanos mortales como yo te he servido.

In the year 36, on his way to Damascus, he had a vision and converted to Christianity. He had a much greater education than the humble fishermen who were the first apostles of Christ.
