There are movements that arise spontaneously throughout history. Others are born from a careful projection of thought and preparation. Therefore, today, we ask you: do you want to know about the roots of the Theosophical Society ? We bring you all the details about it.

The origin and roots of the Theosophical Society

Well, the Theosophical Society was the project of two Masters of Wisdom, the Mahatmas Kuthumi and Morya . The aim of both was to show the modern world Universal Wisdom. This precisely had been pursued for 1500 years in the West.

Master Morya detailed it in a letter in which the following could be read: One or two of us hoped that the world would have advanced to such an extent that the Hidden Doctrine could win an intellectual acceptance. And the momentum could be given for a new cycle of hidden research. Other wise men thought differently.

For his part, Blavatsky had great value, as Master Kuthumi points out: They must know that as of the fifth century AD, Initiates of Western origin were very few. I am nothing more than the count of Saint Germain, Agrippa and Paracelsus. Who apparently was Blavatsky's previous reincarnation.

There came a time when there was a meeting between the three main founders. At that meeting, Blavatsky met his Master Morya in 1851 .

After Blavatsky accepted the offer made by his Master, he toured the world in search of hidden knowledge and development . In total, it was about seven years. In 1873 she was sent from Paris to New York in order to found the Theosophical Society.

More movements that originated the roots of the Theosophical Society

Henry Steel Olcott was a very bright man . At first, he was a leading scientist.

In 1874, while Olcott worked, he felt the need to investigate spiritualism . The articles he published marked and met Blavatsky by chance. Olcott introduced Mrs. Blavatsky to her readers and later she introduced him to the Mahatmas, becoming a disciple of her first and then of Master Morya.

Finally, Olcott introduced Mrs. Blavatsky to his readers . And besides, finally, she introduced him with the Mahatmas. Thus, he first became a disciple of his, and then becoming Master Morya.

As for William Quan Judge, he was a lawyer by profession, and it was not until the fall of 1874 that Judge first met Blavatsky . From that moment on, he insisted on the persecution of the teachings of the Eastern sages.

The birth of the Theosophical Society arrives

Finally, years later, in 1889, Blavatsky confirmed this karmic association . A very old association in which Judge was identified as one of the vehicles between the Masters and the theosophical movement.

As regards the formation of society, Blavatsky was the one who started everything . With her they began to have meetings. It was on September 7, 1875 to listen to a lecture by George H. Felt that initiated the entire movement. Such a debate was created, and from there they decided to create the Theosophical Society. Judge proposed that Colonel Olcott be the elected president of this society.

Thus was born the Theosophical Society, more than a century ago, which has brought great value and wisdom to current thinking, both in the East, where it is millenary, as in the West, where it is not yet accepted by a good part of today's society, but there is no doubt that his teachings are very valuable and bring much well-being to the world.
