Babaji is the One Who voluntarily incarnates on Earth century after century to help the seekers of Truth and to lead the spiritual leaders of our planet.
One of Babaji's earthly lives is known thanks to the book Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda. In particular, Yogananda describes how Babaji easily dematerialized and materialized His body, when he wanted to move from one place to another on the surface of the Earth. He also materialized objects.
Babaji came to Earth for the second time in 1970 * to teach people the meditative practice of the highest levels and to help His followers to better organize their lives before God.
Here we present a reduced version of the book The Teachings of Babaji (published by "Haidakhandi Samaj " in India in 1990). The original of this book consists of the introduction and a chronological selection of all Babaji's statements. Among these, there are even those that were directed only for the particular interlocutors.
For this edition we have selected only those statements of the Great Guru that are of great importance to all people at all times.

We must seek harmony in everything you do.
Jealousy and envy must be thrown out because they cause a lot of damage.
On the Road to God there will always be hills and mountains to overcome. It is a matter of warriors to move mountains.

When the world faces great problems, God adopts the human incarnation. He comes to meet the needs and desires of mankind. However, when the Lord comes in human form, few recognize Him. Only those to whom He wishes to reveal himself understand that, in fact, He is not an ordinary human being.
You may think that Babaji is just sitting here and doing nothing. But He has been and is everywhere! And long ago! Babaji, sitting here, is present in everyone's hearts!
Those who are physically far from this place should not think that they are far! They are close to Me!
I do not recognize castes or races! I see only one humanity! I am working here for humanity!
Turn on the light in you! And then, turn it on in others! Just as a light spreads through the room, when one candle lights another, in the same way we must spread love from heart to heart.
If you are worthy, I will show you the greatest freedom you have ever dreamed of!
Being strong does not mean being gross and heartless. Being strong means being above pleasure and pain, above heat and cold!
There are many doctrines. Follow the principle of Truth, Simplicity and Love. Live in Truth, Simplicity and Love, and also practice karma yoga!
I came to guide humanity on the highest Path. I don't belong to any religion, but I respect them all. I dream of the elevation of all humanity.
The result of persevering work is happiness; The result of laziness is pain.
I want you to be brave warriors who fulfill their own duties! This is for your good!
Great changes will occur soon, as in the time of the Mahabharata.
Don't step back in your work, go ahead! Karma yoga is your first duty!
At every moment, with each breath, while you are eating, sleeping and working, remember the Lord!
Even the Sun and the Moon can leave their orbits, but their faith must be unwavering! Never submit to false doctrines!
When their minds and hearts are impure, how can God live in them? The water that can cleanse their hearts is the name of God. Therefore, teach everyone to repeat the name of God everywhere.
I don't need idle people! Japa * does not replace karma *! Japa and work go together!
I don't want japa to be a pretext for idleness! Do japa along with your work and you will reach Liberation!
Work and be Light! And repeat the name of God! Concentrating the mind, always repeat the name of God!
Attachment to material things ties man to life *. If they stick to life and fear death, then when they die, they will do it with this fear and it will torment them. If they die without fear, remembering the name of God, the soul leaves the body free from fear and attachment. If they then have a new birth, the soul remains free from that fear. If they die in Unit *, they will be free from another birth, unless they want to.
You should always have clean thoughts in the relationships between you!
They must be happy and healthy! They must feel and appreciate the joy of life!
The seeds of righteousness were sown in your hearts, so that you then light the hearts of others! I dream of the universal good for all people!
You must do everything possible to improve humanity! All people will be saved, if goodness and mercy prevail. You must work for the spiritual growth of all humanity, eradicating pride, jealousy and hate. nanse in love for spiritual growth! Today everyone must promise to sacrifice everything to get this unit!
Leave the attachments and are prepared even to burn their bodies, if necessary, for the universal good and for righteousness.
Why do you tie your minds to the temporal things of this world? Go to God!

You have to learn discipline. They are alerts 24 hours a day! Everyone must promise to work and serve, think only in a good way and do good! According to My plan, Liberation will come only to those who practice karma yoga.
Whatever money you receive, spend it for good purposes.
I say this and it is My service for humanity. Working, thinking in a good way and dedicating one's life to humanity is the most important. Every corner of the world should wake up and listen to these words.
Only persevering work can make a person strong and energetic.
Think of good! Be good! Do the good! One can follow any religion, any practice or path, but it must be good and compassionate!
It is necessary to sing devotional music in such a way that it excites the soul, in such a way that deep feelings arise. You have to sing with love! Do not sing as if you were in a theatrical performance! When you play music, it must touch your heart to stay in memory for a long time! When you sing, you and those who listen to you should enjoy! Kirtan * must be sung in harmony, with a slow rhythm. Put your soul in kirtan and it will flow! The melody must run in all its sweetness!
Think of the Earth as the Mother! This is one Earth! Do not separate, considering yourself as people who belong to different countries! We belong to an Earth! Look to the future with a vision of good acts for the whole world, and not just for one country!
When human beings enter this world, they forget their duty and become contaminated with the attachment to maya * and with the concepts "for me" and "mine." Thus they forget God.
Jealousy and hate are two causes for which people perish. In their lives these two should have no place!
I am against this nonviolence that makes a human being a coward! Fight for the Truth! To face life, you must have great courage!
We must all live a life full of boldness and courage! The man without courage is similar to a dead man!
I want to create a world of brave people who face life as it is!
Our essential duty consists in, remembering this fundamental principle, spreading the Message of karma yoga throughout the world. You have to set an example by practicing it!
Service to humanity is the best service to God! Our motto is "work is the worship of God"!
The only way to get siddhis, to get real strength is karma, action.
If you learn to act correctly, you can do everything. The action is the Mahayoga, it is the Supreme Yoga! You must progress through the action! They must act!
The main task, which Mahaprabhuji * gives you, is that you should always be punctual in all your duties!
There are many types of yoga, but karma yoga is of paramount importance! Karma yoga must come first, then other types of yoga can be added.
All the Greats who came into the world progressed through karma yoga.
Karma yoga teaches them to lead a true life. Only karma yoga can transform the world! Inaction is the cause of pain and all problems!
Teach your children karma yoga, so that they can become people of good and strong character!
Take care of their bodies! As long as your bodies are healthy, you can serve! When they are sick, how can they serve? It is very important to have good health! To practice karma, it is vital to keep their bodies in a healthy state! Therefore, follow the instructions about purity and health and teach them to others!
Each of you has to go beyond the fear of death and the expectation of living and moving forward, fulfilling karma yoga! We must perform actions that benefit everyone, and not only other people, but the entire universe!
Shri Mahaprabhuji wants very brave and fearless people in this world! If people, full of infinite faith and devotion to God, follow with determination the Way of Truth, Simplicity and Love through karma yoga they will reach their goals! When the whole world is burning in the fire of sins and sufferings, and the flames are about to swallow everything, this is the only way of salvation!
There is no place for fear! People must work boldly! When one is fearless, no one can oppose him in battle, be it a battle in the material life or in the spiritual life! He is victorious in all the battles of life!
Mahaprabhuji has authority over the "god of death." Mahaprabhuji can create and destroy entire worlds at His Will. If you are His devout disciples, how can you fear? No need to worry at all! Be intrepid!
Now Babaji proposes another point: we must annihilate in our minds the concepts "I" and "mine." If you belong to the entire universe, where is there room for "me" and "mine"? Only in this way is it possible to be useful for the world. That is to deal not with just one person, but with the entire universe.
We must all eliminate the differences between us and work in unity with the entire world!
There is only one way to save humanity: the way to transform the hearts of all people. Shri Mahaprabhuji will give all His spiritual strength for this, but every male and female will also have to do their utmost efforts!
With all possible means and in all ways, do good to others and make them happy! And to each person, to each country provide what they lack!
If they are busy doing good deeds, they will have a good dream, a good appetite and bad thoughts will not appear in their minds. Otherwise, they will always be criticizing others.
The food we eat must be clean and nutritious. We must pay special attention to everyone's health! Wherever there are spiritual centers, people should grow and cook good vegetables, make nougat and distribute them. Food must be nutritious to increase your strength to work and to strengthen your minds as well. It is necessary to keep their bodies in good health to fulfill karma! If their bodies have no strength, how will they work? We must eat nutritious food so that our bodies are full of energy and our brains work better! *
I want a world of strong and healthy people! I want people in this world to be as quick in their actions as the wind! I want people to work with all the energy of their body! At this moment the world needs the brave and strong people!
We must follow the path that strengthens us! How to achieve that? Only through persevering work and activity! Therefore, it is very important to be active and industrious! Look at Babaji Who is working from morning to afternoon like a machine!
We must trust ourselves and not overwhelm others with our burden!
No one should stop practicing karma yoga! This is the firm Path that exists forever!
It is a fact that a great fire of sins and sorrows is burning throughout the world. Each incarnate walks through this fire and works there! Death is dancing before everyone's eyes!
The calamities that happen in this world are inevitable. Only he who has the determination to do good deeds and is entirely faithful to God can survive!
Only he who completely surrendered to God's authority is out of danger!
You should not do anything that hurts others. Only that work that benefits most people is true karma yoga.
You must devote all your time and energy to the good of the entire universe! Only then will they benefit! Whatever you do, do it for the good of all!
You must be active and create a great international organization, the largest that has ever existed in the history of the world!
We must move forward by the elevation of humanity!
Abandoning the fear of death and the expectation of life on Earth, you must move on! Do not fear fire or water! When necessary, we will jump into the ocean! When time comes, we must be willing to get into the fire! Therefore, all of you must be firm and strong! They must have only one goal, one goal: to serve every living being in the universe!
Only he who is sane and alert can succeed in his life!
I don't like dishonesty! I want everyone to be honest and fulfilled!
Each one must faithfully fulfill his duty! You must know what you must do and do exactly that. Thanks to karma yoga one will never fall, but will rise more and more! There is no inferior or bad work in this world if one does it with the right spirit!
Leaders must be those who possess knowledge and experience, who are full of virtues and are able to spread this Message. Your words should be weighted and wise for people to follow you gladly. They must be people who want to work for the elevation of humanity! Leaders must love their country and devote all their time to their spiritual elevation. They must be able to inspire people. This is very important!
We must all have common sense and do our duty without waiting for others to tell us. When one does his duty, this is the greatest worship to God, the greatest service, the greatest devotion and the greatest ascetic practice!
You must aspire to Liberation and help others in their Liberation.
Incomprehensible Babaji *

Before my encounter (...) with Babaji, my life had been dark and dark. I think it was like that because God treated me in the same way as I treated Him.

God has many names, but He is One!

There is only one Truth (...). God is the Truth!
Hard work brings happiness; Laziness, pain.
Do your thing, and then I will do Mine!
This work (the service of karma yoga) is not predestined only for today. This job stays with you no matter where you go! Even when you leave your bodies and move on to the other world, this work will go with you! They will be rewarded for this! That garden that they trace here and those seeds that they throw to the earth, will receive them there! It is a spiritual work, not material!
There are (among people) external differences, for example, differences between races, but all human beings are equal! All are the children of the same Creator!
Destructions (on Earth) will continue to happen due to two causes. The first is that people, as always, think simply of the "I" and "mine", and this is not the Way of Truth and Love, it is not the spiritual Way, and the second is that all they want to be "big" and nobody wants to be "small".
Love all mankind and serve it!
Help everyone!
Be happy!
Be polite!
Be sources of inextinguishable joy!
In each face recognize God and all that is good!
There is no saint without a past and a sinner without a future!
Respect all people! If you cannot respect someone, let this person leave your life!
Be original! Be witty!
Be brave!
Do not imitate! Be strong! Be firm!
Do not lean on the crutches of others! Think with your own head! Be yourselves!
All Perfection and all Divine virtues are hidden within you! Open them to the world!
