OM Practice and Creative Sounds

The OM until about seventy years ago used to be an initiatory secret, which was only taught in advanced esoteric schools, and naturally in ashramas for meditative, constructive purposes. But the OM itself, as defined by the Tibetan Master, is the sound of resurrection, a refreshing air enters into the three bodies, a new air, a renewed air that comes from the inner layers, does not come from the external.

Instead, the AUM that corresponds to the Amen of the Christians, the Christians say: "Aaaméennnn", and the meaning is "Let there be Light"; and instead, the OM is "The Light was made", are three tones right?

Then, we could say that the OM note is based on the internal sound, it has nothing to do sometimes with the external voice, it implies the development in a certain way of the throat center, of the laryngeal center, and as an effect of this awakening, of this development, the mantram has effects on the environment, devic effects, because the sound is connected with the devas, with the angels, with the whole of the unknown world, which we are gradually knowing as we move forward by the path.

The initial sound, the original sound, is not within our reach, we cannot reach this transcendent point, we must always be careful of the sounds we know of the physical world. For example, each one has a definite voice, it can be a tenor, baritone, or bass, in man, the three voices that constitute the trinity of sound; in the woman the soprano, the mezzosoprano and the contralto, in everything it is seen, and then there is a central point, within which the voice of the man enters to give certain, say, certain arpeggios of the female voice, and the female voice that usually has certain arpeggios of the voice of man, and remember that voice we call colorless, who does not know if it is male or female. Well, now we are training to pronounce the OM well, having produced environmental effects. You cannot work in magic without knowing the tone that corresponds in each moment, in each circumstance, regardless of the voice that each one can have, a voice emerges that is unknown. Hence, when talking about the voice, about Mantram Yoga, when talking about the power of sounds in the life of nature, you have to have a very accurate knowledge of the person who will receive this knowledge, because if a sorcerer's apprentice - and we make a lot of reference to the group's attention because it is a very common case - to supply him, to impart certain defined mantrams, to produce certain environmental results that can be dangerous; first, because the sound attracts the devas and all the sounds are ramifications of the Sacred OM or of the AUM, which corresponds to the lower worlds, but I tell you that the danger exists because a voice or a disheveled sound arisen from the ignorance of the laws of the sound, it can cause an environmental catastrophe, it can aggravate karma, it can produce the premature awakening of the Kundalini Fire within the person.

That is to say, it is very important to start working on the sound, or the mantram, from a great silence. I would advise you to practice silence and mantrams from now on and nothing else, or the mantra according to each one to his tone, because then you are progressively reaffirming yourself in the inner sound. Apparently it is the external sound that is working with the internal sound, and this internal sound, when practiced, opens up a world of possibilities.

First, that our emotional body does not take part in the process, sadness —recorde— increases sadness, therefore, the calm mood is beyond sadness and joy.
